Watching it put a smile on my face. Played all these games at the arcade when I was a kid. Ah.. good old memories.. Mike thank you this wonderful review!
Most welcome, Zepp! Did the same to me! I even found out that this can run n basically any game that is .nes and have downloaded Battle City too; While I don't have much time for gaming, the tanks game is such a good way to relax after a long day 😊
I had this device. It's crap and awesome at the same time. For or $50 you get a lot. You can play a ton of games out of the box. The menu system and finding games is a nightmare though. And also not all software runs well. Some of the GBA. 3D games don't run well at all, like Doom and Duke Advance run crap. Also the GB and GBC games are all squashed. It's still fun. The arcade games, Neo Geo, Mega Drive, NES and most SNES games run fine. After plaiter ping it a bunch though, I ended up spending the money for a GPDX XD, and that's the best way to play these games.
That washed-out/blurry AV output....yikes, but then I suppose you can't expect the world for $45 - in this case I would rather use this as a portable only. I can't imagine the input latency would be pleasant over AV either. Also, at 4:40 SMK is really struggling to run, looks like it's not quite powerful enough to handle emulating extra SNES cartridge chips like the FPU used in SMK. It would just suck if a kid's first exposure to these games was running on one of these cheap devices with janky emulation.
The screen is so small, that it is hard to see any defects of the gameplay. It is in fact a device I still use from time to time - the good old Battle City is so simple and so goood 😎
Mega drive is not even close to alphabetical. However, it does promote random blind-plays, which I greatly enjoy. The one downside is, my analog stick fell off! I never used it and everything else is still fine, but be wary about sticking it in your pocket to cavalierly.
Don't drink and Ebay. I'm now the proud owner of one of these.....I'll give it a good home though. Poor little thing is barely remembered in the retro market.

This console is the best 50 bucks I ever spent. I adore it!
Is it easy/possible to add your own game roms to? Also, does it have Bluetooth for headphones? Considering one atm.
Check if it has contra on it
Really? Mine lags on super Mario bros. It cannot emulate anything properly.
Made me nostalgic about days when I along with my friends used to spend all our pocket money in those game centres.
I used to have Terminator 2 - which was perhaps the cheapest of all them; So sad the games from it are not here.
@@TechMishka which is better this or Powkiddy Q90 please tall me
This is all about nostalgia...
Rare item can make you laugh and cry
Wow! So true. It is unbelievable how exciting these days were...

Thanks mate! Especially about the GPDX HD device.
Cool. Can you play like 2 players?
Unfortunately not :( THat would have been so awesome!

@@TechMishka I was referring to the TV output - looks very blurry/super bright from this thing only having an AV output.
Smart phone form factor? where?
Doesn't it look like a thicker phone :)? Like most rugged phones.

That's why it was not shown in the user manual, huh 🙃
Tech4All have you seen the new 2 year anniversary edition?
@@tawdryhepburn4686 Nooo waaay 🤓👀 Thanks for the heads up!
Is there Tetris, Pacman, Galaga too?
I think they aren't there, but if you download them as .nes files - you can run these from the Sd card.
@@TechMishka Ok, Thanks!
Does the roms come with it or do I have to add it?
They come preloaded. And you can add more via a microSD.
Man just bought one after watching ur video 👍👍
GLad that you liked it! Sleepless nights are coming 🙃
Get ready to blind-play game after game and then check TH-cam for reviews/controls. It’s my new favorite hobby.
HI, is this used with IPS screen?
Yeah
Can you play metal slug on these?
yes, it has a bunch of neogeo games
Cadilacs and dinosours
three wonders
But can it link for multiplayer???
Nope, not supported, unfortunately.
Thanks Tech4all

👍
Please compare with ldk
Let me see what I can do.
I want one !
Me too! 🙃
I have one but it doesn't have joy sticks
Another revision maybe 🤔
I think it is just right for putting in your pocket
Totally!
Vol knob is more reliable compared to button
Yeah 🙃 I miss these things in today's tech.
Does it have mortal kombat?
I think so
can we use cheat for ps1?
I'm afraid I don't know that.
Dose this have a battery fault like the RG350 anyone?
Works like charm here.
pretty sure this is illegal in germany... :D
I don't think they will get you to prison for that. But it wouldn't be a surprise.
Seems like a copyright infringement.
I don't know if these rights ever expire. Cause these consoles are so old. But most likely you are right to say that.
Better is to download emulator on phone and then play all retro games
But no buttons... Where's the fun :)?
@@TechMishka i use xbox controller with bluetooth
No contra
If you can download the .nes file - you can run it.
Its crap and it does not emulate anything properly. Do not buy.
Is there another one that you like better?
