  • Takeaways for players:
    1. Less is more- The best make it look simple. Do more with less dribbles
    2. Play North and South basketball- Use straight lines, starts and stops
    3. Freeze 'em- Make 1 move right at your defender's face and go.
    5. When you can really shoot, your defender is always off-balance
    6. Cut of your defender when you go by. (Sever their angle and get them on your back)
    7. When you have a habit of just blowing by, the D will tend to give you all the space you need to pull up

People today talk about Nash like he never went into the paint. Smh.

Nash has arguably a perfect offensive game, paint included. To me his only failings were on defense

This guy only needs 1 dribble, amazing fucking timing that he almost jogs the ball to the basket. He catches guys hips turning to a halt while dragging his dribble then bang he blows by you. This savant never ever does no behind the back at leadt very rarely even the between the legs, always the left to right to minimize time and effort

Yeah, been studying his hesi carefully. He pretty much does the same hesi every time. Seems like he first gets the defender to move and once they move there's a split second when they don't have both feet on the floor so can't change speed. It's during this gap that Nash explodes.

This is like Stephen Curry styles in his modern NBA..

I feel like Curry would be even better if he just simplified his moves to the smaller package that Nash had. Nash could get off that hesi jumper every time if he wanted. The defender MUST react if Nash/Curry fakes a blow by.

Best ball handler ever without using flashy dribbling.....Isaiah Thomas learns is a better at scoring in the paint than Kyrie and Curry because he dribbles like Nash...

Basketball is a sport about offense. Teams score 100 points a game. Being good at offense is way more important than being good at defense.

@@michaelwayneterry I agree. End of the day basketball is about putting the ball in the hoop. For example when you play basketball by yourself, shooting hoops you dont need defense just dribble and shoot the ball🏀 same thing with playing Pool.🎱
