I'm a trainer myself and I teach the veer, change of pace, off-hand action to all my guards. I'm going to start incorporating dribble jab steps and lateral dribbles now. Thank you for the lesson! Basketball is always evolving.

    1) 01:23 - Active Off Hand
(Keep your hand up as a hand bar) Kevien Durant uses the move very efficiently. The off hand should be aggressive.
    2) 03:37 - Jab Series (Dribble Triple Threat) Jab in the direction you want the defender to create space in.
    3) 05:16 - The Veer- (Full arsenal at the rim) Get your body in front of the defender. Keep in mind that your momentum has to be higher than your defender to accomplish this, speed is key.
    4) 06:54 - Lateral Space Creation- (keep gliding)
    5) 09:08 - Eye Fake - (Sell it with your eyes or Pass fake with it) change of pace, keep looking at everyone with your eyes to make plays.

Seriously, the eye fakes are so important on an elite level. Because every player is so great, the little things give you that half second you need to make a good play.

Well said. Being an elite player is largely made up of a lot of small and subtle pieces coming together.

This video made me watch the whole way through and even though i knew some or most of these little tricks. It's not about knowing or seeing these moves before. it's about practicing them over and over and over again and applying them to your game. Yo my dad ordered me egt x 2 like a couple weeks ago for my birthday and he used the wrong email cause he didn't realize it was an online product. I logged into that account on the website and changed all the information to my information. I still couldn't access the program so I downloaded the app and it won't let me sign into that account saying it doesn't exist. It was definitely ordered, he has proof, but no one on the phone has been any help so far and I sent an email but haven't received a response. Please get back to me, thanks.

Hey what I play under fourteens basketball (I'm 11) and I am a point guard I used the jab step and it is so effective at making space for a drive.
I'm a pg because all my team is 13 and tall af I also checked my average and its 17.3 is that good or bad

Default Skin assists are more important as a pg but if you’re getting over 5 assists while avg 17ur doing good

hi coach, my shooting set point was in front of my face. my coaches have told me that my shot is low and that i need to shoot from a higher set point. so i tried shooting slightly above my eye. i can make shots but the problem is, i haven't mastered that type of shooting yet and i sometimes find difficulty in combining the force of the legs with the power of my wrist.are there any drills to help me fix this? and also, when i do off the dribble moves to create space for my shoot, i found out that my shooting set point gets lower, resulting in a missed shot.

thanks for replying. those drills are very helpful . if i want to change my shooting form, how much time will it take for me to get used to my new shot?

You're welcome. For reference, Steph Curry didn't shoot outside of the key for 3 months when he remade his shot into what you see today.
So, use that as a gauge.

i know that steph did that . but the fact that school starts on september and that i will be studying all year, limits my free time. so i don't think i will be able to practice those form shooting drills on a regular basis.not to mention my team(the 15-17 years old group i play for, of the team) rarely practices shooting drills from midrange and 3pt range. so the only option left is, hoping the weather is good on the weekends in winter, and waiting till next summer. in greece, in my town at least, we don't have indoor courts that anyone can use on his own.

We all have challenges, it boils down to how much do you truly want to be great at playing basketball. If it's something you can live without and it's not a big deal, that's absolutely ok. But if it's something you constantly think and dream about, then figure it out and put in the work.
      It's that simple.

How do you not get the bar stolen with the arm bar or veer? He's really close and it looks like he can just reach under it to get a poke steal
