- We are exploring Santa Clause Village in Rovaniemi Finland which is in the Finnish Lapland. This is probably the most christmasy thing we have ever experienced while traveling the world. There's Santa's post office, Reindeer rides, a Husky park, and you get to meet Santa Clause himself! Twas a blast to make this one.

Not really, they were in Rovaniemi obviously in the autumn, you can see the snow melting off the road. In the middle of the winter, in the high season of turists, in the Christmas time there is only 2 and a half an hour daylight and waaaayyyy more snow. Also it is much more cold in the middle of the winter, like -10 to -25 Celsius.

@@WyattandReyka No but close about 110 kilometers south from it. Lived closer as a child though. You should come back in mid winter next time.
Hahaha sounds cold and dark but we loved the northern lights so maybe we will just do a work-cation somewhere north and edit during the day, and photograph/video the lights at night@@mantailuaa

Right?! It was sooo beautiful. And thank you! For recording the lights we just used our iPhone 14 Pro! Worked well although we’d love to go again and find some better lights

Nice video! Pssst let's not tell anyone, but I can tell you a secret. That polar circle line in Santa Claus village is fake. The actual polar circle is about 2 kilometers north from there but it's swamp, so the village was built there on the stable ground where it is. The polar circle also moves about 15 meters per year because the axle of the Earth is wobbling. The cycle is about 41000 years and in that time the polar circle moves within 250 kilometers!

Hi, guys, thank you for this video. Can I ask you about shoes . Was it cold in your baskets or you had other kind of shoes for longer walk in snow?
We didn’t have any snow boots and were actually ok. However the snow was not super high yet by that point. If you are worried about getting your feet wet, bringing boots might be a good idea.
