I totally agree with the backup advice - - if covid and the 2021 crackdown taught us anything it's that anything can happen - and fast.

I very rarely comment on these sorts of posts but this is one of the most pragmatic and least sensationalist videos I've seen on the subject so far. Many thanks for that. I would say to any online teacher that it is good to be aware of the challenges within the Chinese market but not to worry yourself into a spin about it. Having a back-up is a good rule, probably for any employment, let alone online teaching. Simple thngs like having another way to contact Parents or even an updated CV has got me out of many holes in the past. I would also add that cultivating good, positive relationships with your client base and other online teachers is also essential to evolving your business, and will certainly come in handy should further difficulties arrive down the line. Tim, what do you think about China's new three-child policy from 2021? Do you think this may increase the demand in a few years as well? No one talks about that, but it would be nice to consider and discuss it sometime. Thanks for the tips.
TBH I don't know much about it, will look into it a bit more.
Nice call! I live here and while the first few years of the expanded policy didn’t result in more children as fast as the government wanted, I have physically noticed more pairs of siblings when I am out and about in Beijing.
