The male is perfectly composed in the middle running at a sprint, then the hyena and lioness appear faster in the foreground. If you were that cameraman you had to be in shock at your luck to capture it afterwards

Wow.....What a AWESOME clip. To see a fully grown Male Lion who weighs anywhere from 400 to 500 pound moves like a cheetah is unheard of. That's like placing a speedy race car engine in a Army Tank. Hell even his take down on the Hyena was perfect. I don't think there will be another awesome clip that will ever match or beat out the one I just saw.
Lots of huge animals can really fly when they have to! Look at the grizzly bear! They can weigh 600 to 1,000lbs but those suckers can run 40+mph and they have good endurance at it! I wouldnt want to be caught by either of them but at least the lion would kill you quick unlike the grizz!

When I served in the Navy, I specifically signed up to go on safari when my ship ported in Mombasa, Kenya because of being able to see lions in their own habitat. I was not disappointed. To watch them up close is the stuff of legends.

The real dishonor would be to make the feared predator suffer as if all it's record of hunts and kills were for nothing . It was a snake that killed her cubs not the hyenas. The hyenas then ate the already dead cubs. No foul play.
