Alot of these Derek and Beverly Jourbert documentaries are very hard to find on-line. They're two outstanding, award winning journalists/ conservationist of wildlife. Especially in our time.🙌🏾
Classic documentary, I remember watching it on PBS during early 90’s. I wish they restore this film and make HD quality. The Narrator’s voice and the story line was superb, sadly it slowly disappearing.
Some portions cannot be put on youtube or the entire video cannot be viewed. So those segments are removed. I cant control what is blocked in regions by copyrights.
No don't block the entire thing. But the parts you took out are significant to the story. Can you remove the female lion being mauled or something and add the ending showing the male showing up and running down the matriarch and "dethroning" her? And show the cobra in the lion's den?@@MannsWoodlandPerspective
I can not change what segments are blocked on youtube. If i add it back in, in a different place, in a different edit, the system will still detect it and block the video again. There is no way around these things. The copyright owner blocks the audio and the video portions. So its either they are taken out, or the entire video is deleted.
Ok I understand..I've never uploaded anything to TH-cam so I'm not aware of all their rules and regulations. But I appreciate your prompt and sincere answers. @@MannsWoodlandPerspective
Narrated by Powers Boothe (R.I.P.), best known from the 1993 Western film: *"Tombstone"* and *"Joan of Arc",* the 1999 2-part television miniseries with Leelee Sobieski as the title character.
Scenes are missing as they were removed due to copyright and to allow the video to be public.
Want the missing scenes? Find a copy and buy it.

Scenes removed
I’ve been looking for this episode
Glad you found it! I'm hoping to add several more. As long as Nat Geo doesn't have them under a copyright block.
Great doc, but some parts are missing: it says at 13:59 that the lioness is weak from a cobra venom, but we don't actually see the cobra...

There’s is approximately 10 minutes missing
Thanks for the video! I can’t believe I got to watch this again:)
Glad someone at least appreciates a video free of copyrights to make it viewable.
These are classical documentaries
Some of the best, most important scenes are missing!!
If they were in there, TH-cam will block the entire video.
Just how TH-cam enforces it's copyrights. Would you prefer I just delete the entire thing?

Always welcome!
If you ever saw the real movie you would know this has been cut badly. I assume by TH-cam did it because as GREEDY AS THEY ARE they do not care.
You can buy your own copy, or watch the version I'm able to post.
I'm tired of the complaining.
