It's so incredibly open with lots of light and the views out all of the areas, even the Head and Shower are perfect. I'm not a fancy Yacht person, so this one ticks all the boxes. Ahh... a sea worthy Gingerbread cabin. It represents all the taste and finesse possible in a converted work boat. Who would not be happy to live aboard. That is awesome! What a fabulous boat. When I first saw it I thought the paint was flaking off. Then you mentioned the distressed wood and I realised. The interior is out of this world. Absolutely beautiful work and workmanship. Great design. I love the big copper sink and that all the fittings in that area match. I think I could live on that

A Work of art ,period features even down to the paint .I do not think the kitchen has ever been used .Seems a shame some body has restored and created such a beautiful time piece and never rely used it ,sit in the chair and it seems as if you are floating ?Yes most boats are built that way to float .Great video VICRICO AND A JOY TO WATCH ,WHILST awaiting my next million to come in .

I noticed how it was designed for open access behind it as well. So many other cool features. Looks like it has to stay in relatively calm waters though. Plus no water maker?? Nice work guys!
This is a Sensational Classic early 1900s refit. The best I have seen up to date. Maybe in the future you can feature some mid 1900s Trumpy Saloon Yatch refitted. They were very classy in their day. Thanks for sharing this 100 plus year old jewel!
Holy crap! I can't believe it...I had to rewind and look closely. Those two tables on the very top deck, the ones with the aluminum frames and "wood" slats...I have one myself! That is so great...I actually have some good taste...a person that built this amazing seaborne home chose furnishings that I have chosen. That is so cool! 😁
I would LOVE to own this boat...the nostalgia, history, remake and refit of new styles and tech...I could totally see myself sleeping in a nice chair on that aft deck..OMG!
Really thank you for starting the engine. The ONE thing I kind of wish would happen on many of these walkthroughs is seeing a sea trial, too. This particular boat obviously is not so much about cruising, it doesn't look like it's meant to leave the safety of the harbor very much, but it does move obviously, and that's something I personally always want to know about. It's a truly commercial build, hence it's still around after 100 years, and you see so few single screw large boats it's probably tricky to maneuver. But the ferry pilot managed it so it's possible, certainly. With practice ;-)
I was on a single screw ST for 6 years in US Army. The operator of the Tug was a WW-2 vet. We came into dock. Put on spring line first. The wheel had the big brass nob built in. The Sargent ( US Army vessels had warrant officers or Sargent) that pilot them. He would put rudder hard over away from dock. Slip the gear into forward. Then we hooked up bow and aft lines. I'm not kidding every time we docked, it stayed to dock perfect. The single screw is tricky to moor up.

I agree.. I wouldn't go across open seas on it.. It's very pretty, love the customized space.. but this is def a Niche boat for someone that just wants to live on a boat and cruise around a few miles from the coast in calm waters
She's kind of tall, too, so you might have trouble clearing bridges on some inland waterways. Should be fine on the intracoastals, if you could get her over there.

This refit must have cost a boatload. Everything about this refit is top notch. The galley is exceptional. The only thing I would change is the color of the seats. Lime green looks out of place. This would make a great vacation rental. It would be very popular, and with the added bonus of 2, count them, 2 captains to pilot the vessel for tours in and around the Marina Del Rey area. No other vacation rental can boast that option. The distressed lumber is a nice touch. It would be so much fun to live here full time. Perfect spot on the dock, and a hop, skip, and a jump away from the new Trader Joe's. ..... Your outfit looks right at home on this yacht today. Well done.

Great boat huge amount of effort and dollars to create this gem they either went for the distressed look or large parts of the exterior needs stripping and refinishing .

Great boat huge amount of effort and dollars to create this gem they either went for the distressed look or large parts of the exterior needs stripping and refinishing .
it’s a special type of wood, very rare
