As one of the individuals involved in developing the Outback 50 I greatly appreciate the wonderful job the NautiStyles team did in presenting our Yacht.
As one of the individuals developing it, maybe you can answer this.... What happens if you are on the fly bridge and someone puts the ladder up on you?? Only option is to jump?
Congratulations - it is truly a stunning vessel. That you can basically remove the aft wall of the cabin and bring the outside in, not to mention the size of the windows…literally brilliant.
As opposed to all of the other yacht tour channels, which will go unnamed, you always show all of the details of a boat. The locations of the cleats, the fuel and water fills, the engine room vents…I could go on. The attention to details plus your likable personalities are what set your channel apart!
I live in Chicago, so no need for a yacht, yet I watch every video that this channel puts out! Maybe one day I’ll buy a yacht to live aboard, since a submarine is way out of my budget!
I'm not a boat guy but a gear head who has worked on many RVs, am a plumber by trade and spent two decades in the construction industry. And this is why I got sucked into the Nauti world. To me the "look it's shiny and the cushions are lovely" doesn't register unless the bones of the thing are built well and to last. So yeah, I'm with you. The technical aspects (durability and serviceability) are much more important and stuff that's built to last just gets my attention. So details are where it's at. And these guys experience shows as they always focus on details. Cool stuff
Victoria and Rico are such a good pair. They both have their interests so we learn the fine details of the helm and engine and subsystems, plus demonstrations on how many adults can fit into a shower.
I always appreciate the spec's doesn't matter I can't afford the boat but I like watching you 2, Now my son who can afford it is more of a sailing Cat type which he desires to host in the Caribbean as an owner operator
We are 15 years away from retirement but we ARE doing TGL and we can’t wait!!!! That’s why we are watching your videos, to decide what we want to purchase abut 2-3 years prior to retirement! We say 2-3 years, we want to have time to learn the ins and outs of the boat, so we are very comfortable and confident doing TGL!! The Great Loop comes literally right through our backyard on The Chesapeake! We can not wait….
Another super yacht tour by Team Victoria and Rico! When I was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany, one of the German MPs I worked with had a father who had a boat he used on Germany's rivers. It had a small car on the back deck and he could tie up somewhere, drive the car off the boat, go do whatever he needed to and come back. That was cool.
The lowest unavoidable fixed bridge on the Great Loop is currently charted at 19.6’ and is located at mile 300.6 on the Illinois River. If you can clear 17’, you can cruise through downtown Chicago. In order to cruise the full-length (western half) of the Erie Canal, you must be able to clear a 15’ 6” fixed bridge. It is recommended that your boat not have a draft greater than 5’. However a draft of 4' or less is best. This boat hits all these points very nicely.
This truly is the perfect yacht for the LOOP. We would love to have it, but we can't as we are in our late 70's. If we were younger, we would definitely get one and take really good care of it then sell it after we finished the loop as it has great resale value.
I enjoy watching the boat tour because I dream of being on the water. But what really makes these videos enjoyable is the way the two of you interact together. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with me.
Great boat! 3 ft draft is awesome. Foldable ladder - Smart... I have to say, I've been watching y'all for awhile now. I think I've gone back two years or so and watched your videos. Y'all are great! I love the detail you give while touring the boats. And especially "opening" everything!!! Y'all are 100% the best boat showers.
The 3ft draft with the 21kts cruise @2NM/Gallon is what sets this one apart. Any other boat and you are talking 75gallons/hr at that speed whereas this guy will be 10 gallons/hour!!! 10! Edit: That is at 8kts... Makes MUCH more sense.
LOVE how it opens up completely, perfect for the northern rivers and fishing. Catch fish off the back and cook them up for dinner with a glass of white wine. Yum. Good family design, two kids in the guestroom, mom & dad in the main room. Perfect colors, catches the light & keeps everything bright inside. Wonderful windows. Fold down the ladder & go up top to watch the shooting stars at night. Nice choice for retired couples too...
If my hard work ever allows me to run into some money this is the type of work I would LOVEEEEEE to buy.. I'm huge into fun. The back space would allows us so much room for dancing and the open platform out back gives us freedom to jump in the water and fool around. REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS BOAT
Those grey chairs on the fly bridge.. Move them down to front deck.. Facing forward, or on side when locking through... Perfect... What an awsome looper setup.. Small enough for Trent Severn lock 44 (look that up, it's amazing) yet large enough if lake Simcoe or Georgian Bay decide to get "nautical". Really well thought out setup.. Now I just need a Powerball win.... 😂
Of all the boats and yachts that I have seen, this is the most complete and perfect yacht... Its external appearance indicates strength, durability and simplicity, and inside there is a welcoming space that contains everything that any sailing lover could wish for... Only it lacks a towing support for people who like to catch big fish. And a large refrigerator for those who want to sail for weeks.. As for the rest, everything is incredibly perfect.. Greetings to whoever designed and built it.
Really nice cruiser. Especially like the folding doors and window in the rear being manually operated instead of more electronics to worry about failing. And the folding ladder is absolutely genius. Thanks for another great tour.
The choice to make the window fold rather than lift : so you can use the ladder down with the window open was a smart idea. Same with the rear doors folding rather than sliding so you can fully open it. Some sharp cookies designed this boat. I'd probably ditch the guest cabin for a larger master and put the washer dryer etc in the place where that berth was. Guests can get a hotel , I'll pick you up in the morning for a day on the water :P
@@happycat3399 Course I forgot to mention in Florida you defiantly gonna need to get that cockpit screened in! The Mosquitos down there will eat you alive.
Your channel is my most watched boat review channel. You give accurate depictions and enjoyable dialogue. I also like the fact that there’s no exploitation or fabricated drama. No cheap bikini shots or fake emotional displays needed. Just honest reviews and excellent camera work and editing. Oh and the outtakes aren’t bad either. Thanks for a great show.
Looking at the helm area, I realized there's a strong tug/trawler vibe--nice! That huge folding door/window is one form of open architecture I can understand and those large cleats at the stern are perfectly placed to double as handholds. Thanks!
The design and engineering are brilliant. A single operator or inexperienced boat owner could manage very safely. The fuel tanks on both sides give you stability in heavy seas or challenging conditions. Outback Yachts stepped outside the box and hit it out of the park.
It would be great for backing up close to islands. You could wade through a little water and step right onto the back of the boat. That makes it very convenient. It could use some solar panels to run the refrigerators and keep the batteries charged. That would make it more self-sufficient.
Here in the PNW we've been fans of Outback Yachts for many years. This, however is indeed a whole new concept. I do like the openness of the interior and the crazy spacious aft deck area. That lifting ladder is brilliant! My single complaint is the forward location of the master cabin -- would prefer to have it located mid-ship where you'd feel less movement when at anchor in a rocky anchorage, with guest quarters in the bow. Lastly, I really like the placement of the engines aft -- much quieter underway and best of all, they did it without V drives :))
From a go fast Cigarette, classic yachts, reasonably priced yachts to the dream yachts. I love the diversity and always enjoy watching no matter what the vessel! When’s another update on your build coming? ❤❤
I've watched a lot of these tours you guys do, and a lot on other channels as well. The chemistry between the two of you and the way you play off of each other really makes this channel something special. Not sure this particular boat is for me, but I can appreciate them trying something new.
Very impressive!! That’s a lot of living space for a 50’ boat. The few thing’s I would want that’s not on the boat could easily be added I’m cure. I like the idea of washer/ dryer units and additional freezer. I would want some other gauges over the helm and a little more redundancy of certain items. Love this boat!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@Navy1977 i agree it’s a good amount of money was my thought also but after going to the website and doing some more research on these boats I really think through some negotiation it could be a pretty good deal. It has a ce rating of a. The boat in my opinion without inspecting it further myself i think is not bad at all.
Beautiful boat! I'm guessing the helm is the way it is because the designers have been in the business a long time, and have seen how some of the switches aren't always in a convenient place for a single operator. Honestly I love the helm layout. Thanks for the tour!
Lovely 50 foot ❤️very well presented, Incredibly comfortable, spacious and well designed. Thank You as Always Victoria and Rico for Another Fantastic Presentation, Cannot wait to see More of Your Bering 75, Please feel free to share more with what's happening in Turkey, Alexei and Team ❤️🙏
I really like that layout and the smart design features, definitely getting added to my list. We are getting closer and closer to pulling the trigger on selling the house to live on a yacht (wife's bucket item).
YES, I am subscribed to all of your channels... I only got here somewhat recently, because friend of mine is looking to BUY a Cruiser in the 65 foot range... And she could be quite satisfied with this boat, because she is mostly looking for just herself and just a few friends per cruise.
Victoria, beautiful, rich looking nautical ensemble you put together for today's show. Thanks for another smashing tour. I'm always looking forward to your weekly posts on Nautistyles and Nautiguys.
Very interesting boat, some huge pluses. The very long aft deck is designed for holding a dinghy or kayaks, with simple, foolproof launching and hauling. If an owner does not want to store a tender there, I believe the Outback can be ordered with an extended deckhouse for increased interior room. I particularly like that the aft deck is totally covered by a long roof. Not a fan of the ladder to the bridge but I understand it allows terrific engine access. I would go with a slightly shorter port settee in the salon if that would permit a port door to the side decks for safer docking. Like so many boats with a forward main cabin, the Outback pinches the head of the berth. You have to want true togetherness with your partner's head to be OK with that compromise. Interesting to compare the Outback to the Krogen Express, a quite similar slender yacht that can cruise in the high teens with moderate power. Informative, thorough video as always.
Another amazing yacht. The use of space and open feel are really something, and the draft gets you in where others fear to tread water. This one's got me counting up my pennies. Thanks again for a great tour!
I am in Newport, RI Touring the bay today and this boat is moored in front of us. If you know this harbor you know it takes a lot for a boat to stand out in this crowd and this Outback Yacht really sits well here.
Very nice design on this boat. If I was doing the great loop I think I would choose this over the Ranger Tug 43 to get more interior room. As a couple instead of mounting the dinghy up top I would mount it to brackets on the stern. With the range and shallow draft I would be spending a lot of time in the Keys and Bahamas.
Now that would be a near perfect couples boat for the Loop! Fold the mast down and easily do the western Erie canal. Really the only issue you MIGHT run into would be if you wanted a marina slip at some of the places on the river system due to the length.
Thank you for the thorough tour. I am no boat expert, but this is a beautiful boat. It also is very well designed for best use of spaces and storage. It seems small but feels very large and comfortable. The views from all the doors and windows are amazing. I don't think any owner would feel the need to upgrade for a very long time unless they, somehow, improved on this.
Interior has a nice color palette, though I think I would have selected a lighter wood for the size. For your boat, I imagine this wood will create a nice atmosphere
Thank you two for the tour if the yacht. I like the owners cabin area with the queen size bed. The main bathroom is very nice with those many cabinets. Yes, the second bedroom is nice as well. I like the kitchen us nice with the microwave and the frig. That easy access to the engine is very nice. Well, again, this was a very nice tour!! Thank you two!!☺☺
Everything about this yacht is outstanding. The shared head kind of kills it, however. Definitely would need to rearrange layout for a second en-suite. 1,200 NM cruising range plus 3 ft draft does make it a great looper. I'm sold.
What is MORE impressive, if true, is the 2Knots/Gallon cruising at 21knots... EDIT: Never mind... looked at their diagram... that is at 8kts. Makes MUCH more sense.
Gorgeous yacht! I love the foldable ladder, the movable rails, and the large space off the stern!! I would like to see sliding doors entering the en-suite just to create more space. I’d like solar panels on top to have a hybrid engine! Very nice!!!
Another awesome boat tour. Very innovative ladder to the fly bridge, quite a space saver. Have you considered sending or selling your tours to the manufacturers? You two do the best at showing the storage and strong points of each boat. Like in this case the folding mast for low bridges and the great loop.
Love the in depth focus of your tours. I feel I know the boat after your tours. I like this one a lot. We’re now 2 and thinking of getting back into the game 😮
My favorite part of your channel vs others IS the opening of all the storage compartments. Everyone else overlooks this and when living in smaller spaces, storage is vital to living comfortably.
I was introduced to your channel when you guys did that walk-through awhile back of the Nordhavn 80. I sort of forgot about you guys. Sorry, my bad. Glad to know your still around. By the way, you are adorable.
I have been watching you for years, And I just re-subscribed again for like the 4 th time. I have never un-subscribbed. don't know why. but it is real. I truely enjoy your episodes. Thank you.
You guys and all your complaining about hot weather: Soon, I am happy to say, I can finally join you! After a summer in Denmark with very modest temperatures (I had to turn on heating in July!), I am now selling all my gear, that I can not haul along with me on a backpack and next week my travels start in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Chennai even infamous in India for being a very hot place, I expect to finally see some real summer! I can not afford a boat unfortunately, but the next year I expect to be backpacking Asia. Nice boat for sure and good clean lines. I have to say though, looking at the accommodation below, I am even more impressed by German Sirius yachts and their 35DS and 40DS monohul sailboats, which offer more useful space than this 50 feet motor yacht. It really is incredible and you should check those out. Even the 35DS got a better second cabin, with full headroom at the end of the berths, midship and under the deck saloon essentially. It also got a man cave like that, which could be used as a laundry space or work space or even both. You should definitely check out those boats.
Hoping to complete the loop here in the next couple years. I won't be in anything this nice though. Either will be a 28 foot bayliner sail or Chris Craft commander if my wife will let me 😂
@@robc1952 yea, I know I've plotted my course already and everything. Just need the kid to turn 18 n decide on the vessel. Read under 6 for draft, but that 5 would be better. Any thoughts on that part? I do plan on sticking to the main track of the Mississippi and around all of Florida instead of cutting through it.
@@JonnyQuest64 just reading about it, I read you would want a boat with 5 feet max clearance, while 6 ft would work, you would need to watch your depth and go around some areas, with a 3 feet draft, you could pretty much ignore local depths,
Another winner brought to us by team Nautistyles ! I like that they considered the accessibility aspect as a priority , cockpit configuration and the fact you can place the tender in between is genius !!
I really love the chrome columns in the middle of the bench seats in the cockpit. It’s almost like the designers put absolutely no thought into the layout. And the swim platform is truly hilarious, much like the rest of the boat.
first? Love that foldable ladder. Releases space normally lost. The shape of this boat is very pleasing. The forward window that opens should be on all boats, not just catamarans (where it is becoming more common). The sliding door at the bridge does not impinge on the walkway. I like that is has a stern thruster. Just enough wood to be beautiful, without being dated. Cute pillow. I did not see a way to blackout the owner's cabin hatch. 1,200 NM range? Fabulous!
"Great Loop Capable" .... so that drew me in as I knew what that was. I grew up in Wisconsin, a few blocks from Lake Michigan. I've taken the Badger Steamship across the lake three times, at least 5 trips to Washington Island and also 2 trips to Beaver Island. I am well aware of weather that can happen on the Great Lakes, so I know you need the right yacht to do the Great Loop. At first, I thought this was going to be an older yacht tour, but it wasn't. Some great new features, and I was worried it was slow until I saw the SPECS, 21 knot cruise and 24 knots if you need it, yeah, that will work. Really fun tour. I would definately do 2 heads. I think with a smaller yacht like this, you are going to want to come into the nice Harbors, esp. in Door County WI if you are cruising Lake Michigan. The only boat I've ever owned was a 17'9" aluminum fishing boat, but I sure had a lot of fun with it, and even ventured out into Lake Michigan with it, probably further than I should have. The Great Loop is something that should be on a lot of people's bucket list IMHO. I agree this seems like a great yacht to do that in for an owner operator. At first I was surprised to see a ladder to the flybridge, until you showed how it folded up out of the way. Fantastic.
This is my dream boat. So happy you made this video. Any chance you will take it out on the water? Outback needs to do more PR on this. I live in the Great Northwest, this is a perfect boat for cruising the Puget Sound and British Columbia. Great combination of indoor and outdoor space. Thank you!
The subscribe pillow needs to be a new staple in every video! We will all be waiting to see which cabinet door, wardrobe locker or hatch it will pop out of! ❤

Another amazing yacht. The use of space and open feel are really something, and the draft gets you in where others fear to tread water. This one's got me counting up my pennies. Thanks again for a great tour!
This is an absolutely magnificent design.
That is a great ICW/Loop boat, I really like the way they designed it. The open air way from the helm to the aft looks like a lot of fun. 👍👍
I am in Newport, RI Touring the bay today and this boat is moored in front of us. If you know this harbor you know it takes a lot for a boat to stand out in this crowd and this Outback Yacht really sits well here.
I would definitely get the 2/1 layout and make the port guest cabin into a full office. Really nice yacht.
sounds like a great plan
The “Outback Fifty” is really cute and not overwhelming. 🥂
Yes,yes,yes!
Sounds amazing Mark!
This yacht is one of my favorites! Fits my wants really well. All I'd want to add is an outdoor grill somewhere.
Sounds great!
Now that would be a near perfect couples boat for the Loop! Fold the mast down and easily do the western Erie canal. Really the only issue you MIGHT run into would be if you wanted a marina slip at some of the places on the river system due to the length.
👌🙏💙
Really great design, classic and modern at the same time.
WHAT A beautiful boat!!!! I love it!!!! THank you guys.
Our pleasure!
This is a very beautiful and well designed livable yacht. I have really enjoyed your liveaboard yacht series. Stay safe.
I absolutely love this yacht! It's number 1 in my top 20 favorites! Amazing!!
happy to hear Ken
Thank you for the thorough tour. I am no boat expert, but this is a beautiful boat. It also is very well designed for best use of spaces and storage. It seems small but feels very large and comfortable. The views from all the doors and windows are amazing. I don't think any owner would feel the need to upgrade for a very long time unless they, somehow, improved on this.
Thank you so much for watching!
Interior has a nice color palette, though I think I would have selected a lighter wood for the size. For your boat, I imagine this wood will create a nice atmosphere
💙🙏
Thank you two for the tour if the yacht. I like the owners cabin area
with the queen size bed. The main bathroom is very nice with those many cabinets. Yes, the second bedroom is nice as well. I like the kitchen us nice with the microwave and the frig. That easy access to the engine is very nice. Well, again, this was a very nice tour!! Thank you two!!☺☺
Thank you so much for watching - appreciate you!
@@NautiStyles You are welcome. Congrats on the renovation on you and your husband's own yacht.
That design is WOW ! Looks like a modern take on a europa-style fast trawler … i love it . Thanks for you amazing reviews, as always !
Everything about this yacht is outstanding. The shared head kind of kills it, however. Definitely would need to rearrange layout for a second en-suite. 1,200 NM cruising range plus 3 ft draft does make it a great looper. I'm sold.
Happy to hear
Lovely vessel. Bright open with good power. I think the single head works just fine really.
Thanks for sharing your opinion Anthony 🙏
Amazing boat. 3ft draft is impressive. Great video well done guys.
Thank you so much!
Sounds great!
Great ideas!
@@NautiStyles thanks! It would be fun to help design some yachts! I have lots of ideas!!
I really like the style of the boat, both exterior and interior! Very classy and great open plan inside!
Glad you like it!
I absolutely Love this one. I've always dreamed of living aboard a boat and this one is perfectly for me.
Another awesome boat tour. Very innovative ladder to the fly bridge, quite a space saver. Have you considered sending or selling your tours to the manufacturers? You two do the best at showing the storage and strong points of each boat. Like in this case the folding mast for low bridges and the great loop.
Love the wide walkways. What no kitchen exhaust fan? Those rear doors are fantastic. Shallow draft is a winner. Boat is definitely a winer overall.
Another outstanding tour 👌 👏 It looks like the perfect boat for my wife and I! 👍
go get it 😉
Love the in depth focus of your tours.
Love that boat! Perfect size, great layout.
It really is!
I was introduced to your channel when you guys did that walk-through awhile back of the Nordhavn 80. I sort of forgot about you guys. Sorry, my bad. Glad to know your still around.
By the way, you are adorable.
What a classy simple design very well manufactured. Great tour you guys!
Appreciate it!
I absolutely enjoy every video I see. I know nothing about yacht life but it doesn’t stop me from dreaming 🎉
Glad to hear it!
Hii Victoria we need video on nauti gus and this trawler is very beautiful and it's perfectly managable for 2 of u
New Nautiguys video coming soon
I love the chemistry between you two. Watching your tours always makes me smile!
awww happy to hear Arthur
You two do the best yacht tours!
Awwww thank you so much Dennis

I am subscrived and always love your videos. Thank you for all your hard work on making these.
awww we appreciate you Joseph 💙🙏
You are a cute couple who look good together. Please stay happy and together. It's so easy for these to fail. Many blessings your way!!!
Very unique yacht. Nice presentation and a great find.
Glad you enjoyed it
You guys and all your complaining about hot weather: Soon, I am happy to say, I can finally join you! You should definitely check out those boats.
noted - thank you for sharing
Another great video, thanks for showing us a variety of different boats.
🙏💙
So glad I stumbled across you guys...love your videos and watching you two interact with one another...
Awesome! Thank you!
Beautiful boat…beautiful presentation…and Victoria's beautiful feet too…💥⚡️
One of the nicest "small" yachts. To It almost looks and feels smaller then other 50's. Perfect for cruising around rivers, lakes, be close to shore.
Hoping to complete the loop here in the next couple years. I won't be in anything this nice though. Either will be a 28 foot bayliner sail or Chris Craft commander if my wife will let me 😂
well, the great loop requires 2 things, low top for bridges, shallow draft for shallow water,
let’s keep our fingers crossed that the wife will say yes
@@robc1952 yea, I know I've plotted my course already and everything. Just need the kid to turn 18 n decide on the vessel. Read under 6 for draft, but that 5 would be better. Any thoughts on that part? I do plan on sticking to the main track of the Mississippi and around all of Florida instead of cutting through it.
@@NautiStyles agreed, that commander is a beauty and would be a lot more relaxation time for me on the trip
You two guys do amazing presentation. Not a lot of couples can work together you make it look easy!
awwww thanks Daniel
I’m really glad you guys showed this boat. What a nice fun boat. This would also be an awesome Great Lakes cruiser!
Welcome back
Fabulous!
yes it is, looks like home, if the did father goose again, this would be the boat,
Happy second Leslie 💙
Very well designed, constructed and fitted. A purpose built yacht that stayed its mission. Goal achieved!
💙🙏
It's the perfect boat for my imaginary girlfriend and me😮
🤪
Imaginary 🤔❤❤
Don't U mean ur dog and U ?
Fantastic.
Thank you so much for sharing Rick!
Beautiful boat
Never owned a yacht and never will. However I love your videos and watch often. But I LOVE this particular boat and would choose it over most others
This is my dream boat. So happy you made this video. Any chance you will take it out on the water? Outback needs to do more PR on this. I live in the Great Northwest, this is a perfect boat for cruising the Puget Sound and British Columbia. Great combination of indoor and outdoor space. Thank you!
Just found you guys, I'm digging ya! You look in all the nooks and crannies like I would. For a 50 that thing is seriously impressive.
😝😝 welcome aboard! Glad to have you on the “storage” channel 😂😂
Thank you for calling the helm for what it is and not a "steering wheel" like many other "reviewers".
The subscribe pillow needs to be a new staple in every video! We will all be waiting to see which cabinet door, wardrobe locker or hatch it will pop out of! ❤
lol love it
