I recently picked up a Peacekeeper Mk5 and I will say that's probably the best piece of kit I've purchased in 5 years.

The double stacked molle was meant to be Alice compatible while Molle was coming into Australia. The elastic on the bottom of the bottle pouch was meant for field dressing.

Thank you for answering my admittedly very obscure question, been looking for light framed packs like these that push the bag slightly off my back.

From what I remember the elastic cross straps are used for holding Israeli bandages.

I kind of wish I still had my ADF version of this rig. I had a non Platatac version that was really nice. Sadly I sold it before I started my channel. Great video man, I covered the SPUR tropicals and that pack is great! The newer packs have velcro on the pack bag to put IFF on them and there is some additional organization inside the main compartment.

I too have had mixed experiences with platatac. I have owned 4 pairs of their combat pants, all the same size, with widely different cut and fit.

So as an Aussie using mostly platatac stuff
Re: zip pulls, they have moved to a more standard cord and heat shrunk plastic style
The rig looks like a mk2, the current one has more admin parts and a larger Velcro area and has gone down to 3 mag pouches across the front

Hey EOD fish. Just found your channel and I’m really enjoying your videos. If you’re looking for some interesting gear pieces to review, I have a Russian SSO Smersh rig, the version that came before their MOLLE version. With belt rigs seemingly making a return in the industry, perhaps your other viewers would like to hear your thoughts on the Russian adaptation. Thanks for the quality content!

I find it funny we used metric to go to the moon as does most science, Brits will make fun of us for using imperial, weigh themselves in stones, drink pints, both imperial units Americans don't really use

We also make fun of Americans for other reasons too.

Those mag pouches are like the ones from the LBV-88 vest...

Their stuff just seems over done. I will say I would t mind there 4 mag placard thing but that’s only because I have this yearning to have 4 mags up front instead of 3.
