During the big million dollar quiz show craze at the start of the millennium, Gordon Elliott did host a short-lived show for FOX called "It's Your Chance of a Lifetime". It was produced with the intention of airing it weekly, but it only aired five episodes over a week before the plug was pulled on the show.
I met Gloria Allred three weeks ago at the Hollywood Museum at the Marilyn Monroe exhibit where they had an opening night reception. Although the biggest highlight of that night was meeting Selena Gomez, I had fun meeting Gloria.
Burton Richardson looks like he's having fun with the first story. Having seen this on GSN it's too bad this didn't last more than a year; although the changing of hosts wasn't it's only problem, from what I understand it wasn't cleared by many NBC stations because of it's time slot(I.E. Match Game '90) plus it seemed like at that time the networks were trying to get away from game shows in daytime in favor of talk shows.
there was on one episode of to tell the truth 1990 when the giant wall closed too fast after the clebrity walk down was done and you could here it bang on the floor.
So-the hell- what. Garry Moore, Bill Cullen, or Joe Garagiola was the only person with any daggon business behind that desk. Gordon Elliot...? Yeah, right.
@megamanmaniac Well, I found a Wikipedia article about him that said he was involved in a program from 1987-1991 called "A Current Affair". Maybe that had something to do with it.
Gordon Elliot is currently executive producer and(on most episodes) off-camera announcer on ABC's "The Chew".

It was also the only one of his shows that he hosted. He only subbed twice for it, once for Bud Collyer in 1967, and for Alex Trebek in 1991.

I have always though that Gordon Elliot would have made a good successor to Bob Barker on TPIR.
I wish the Queen of TTTT Kitty Carlisle would have been there!
