At 4:18, DropBox (not sure about OneDrive) does NOT allow you to share links that allow anyone with the link to upload files. We tend to need other people to upload files to us. Google Drive makes it very easy, because you just send them a link. With DropBox, when you share a link, recipients of the link can only VIEW files. You have to go through another process to "request files." But then, if someone loses the "request file" email, it's not easy to DM them the link again, you have to re-send a request email, it's all very complex when you should be able to just share a link.
Nice comparison Man . My University is subscriber of G Suite and its services. So a Google Environment feels easier to use even though my privacy is not in good hands. But after I have started ti use One drive , I really found it to be as good as Google drive and sometimes even better as you pointed that in your video.

Great channel but are you fully independent? I wish you could do a full review on OneDrive for macOS. I’ve been using it now for about three years and it’s still extremely unreliable. Too much freezing and weird problems. I’ve had quite a bit of troubleshooting together with Microsoft but a stays a disaster. Each time I’m hoping that they will finally get it done well, but it stays a poor developed app. When I see reviews like this I’m really surprised... I am happy to send you some screen video’s about the behaviour of OneDrive for macOS. Ps I am using : MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 32gb ram with the latest version of OneDrive 11/01/2021
I have had that freezing problem as well, with a similar config as yours. I noticed, a process called "distnoted" starts eating up all the CPU power and once I end the process, it doesn't freeze. This is really irritating for Onedrive on MacOS. Another general problem is, whenever I share a file to someone, they can literally see the full path, IN MY COMPUTER, leading to that file/folder, which to me is a serious privacy issue! And onedrive doesn't fix it, even though people have been asking for it in one of their forums since 2015!
Apple Mac also has a problem in the it counts the One Drive files just stored on the cloud (ie Avilable Online) as taking up local drive space. You will get a "Drive full" Apple message when actually there is the space available of the files that are only on the cloud. Who knows when Apple will get around to fixing this problem.

It served my purposes for selecting a cloud service for temporarily sharing some low-risk files with friends / family. so it needed broad appeal, without hassle. since half the recipients are working, and would have exposure to MS, I went with that. These same folks would also be tutoring the rest on how to access. =D I look forward to viewing your other reviews on more secure services for personal use. especially non-U.S.

G Suite is good if you don't mind your files being hosted in the US and if you're using a lot of Google products. Also, be aware that there is almost no privacy to your files if you're using Google.
@@Cloudwards The thing is that I am a photographer and im looking a cloud service to backup my raw files and vids without losing quality. I have seen your videos and they are very helpful.
@@SOU3120 It's consistently buggy is what I mean, so it often fails to update. Unfortunately it's compulsory for work though. I use a flash drive to update my work so that when it fails (perhaps one out of every three times) i have a backup.

What do you think about the storage of G Suite?
G Suite is good if you don't mind your files being hosted in the US and if you're using a lot of Google products. Also, be aware that there is almost no privacy to your files if you're using Google.

What do you mean "doesn't update"? I have a person's and business O365 account and have been nothing but pleased with it with 0 problems.
