The band has all the mad skills of a true bluesmaster's band. Etta improvises like a madwoman and the band just rides along, filling, vamping, until Etta gets back to the actual song.
They performed it often but the best, imo, was from a BB King special that was on Cinemax thirty years ago or so. I had that on vhs for a long time, too bad I didn't transfer it before all my vhs's trashed out. Hard to find that special, but the performance you speak of can still be found.
