Definitely loved the down-to-earth approach. Instead of making wild claims about how the game will revolutionise the media or will have 10,000 endings or whatever, the devs are just really honest about what the game is. Even comparing it to other games is taboo in this industry, but tbh it helps so much with establishing a realistic expectation. I hate when a developer says "This is an entirely new genre of game, nothing else compares to it! It's so revolutionary and unique!" because it inevitably ends up being far from true - I'd much rather they just be upfront and say "Yeah it's basically a combination of BotW, Arkham Asylum, and Ratchet & Clank, with some cool mutation powers and lots of customisation options."

This trailer has a really cool feature that I noticed after the 3rd or 4th time I watched it! Apparently, every time you watch it, you’re 6 minutes and 10 seconds closer to being able to play Biomutant! I mean, how crazy is that!?
Ljungqvist seems like a really great guy! I love how open and humble he is about the game. Also, kudos to THQ for making it launch at a reasonable hour in EST, whether or not that was the reason for it not being the default midnight launch.

I love that developers are starting to integrate more color into their open world games. First Ghost of Tsushima, now Biomutant. I love the variety of locations.
I really enjoy the way the marketing has been handled. We've had several different trailers, each with a different focus. No big, dubsteppy mess just trying to hype the game. Instead, we had a world focus, a combat focus, and now a full explanation of how the game generally works, as well as what to expect from various choices you might make in builds or alliances. I've been watching this game since its announcement, but this has all bolstered my confidence.

With how weird these weapons can look, it reminds me of "Mercenary Kings". And oh man, I'm so excited! There is rarely a game that jumped from "Yeah... maybe I'll check it out later this year." to "I need it and I need it NOW!".

I have a feeling that this game would be the anti of a certain overhyped game launched some time within the last days of 2020. Like this game is kinda obscured, sparsely promoted and at best gives the idea that it "seems pretty good" but then turns out to be actually pretty good despite not being a big hit, thus leaving it's name in history on a nice pleasant note, that one gem from 2021.
When I first heard about this game and seen it I had absolutely no intentions on buying it because it just seemed like something that I would get bored with quickly, but I decided to give it a chance and pre-order it anyway. I honestly hope that there's a story on how that world became the way it is. That's what intrigues me the most about this game. Well, that and the combat.
Gotta love how he actually compares to other actually real and existing things like Zelda and such instead of making vague references about what he's talking like other developers do. Makes it more believable.

This looks so different from everything else out there, and I was worried it would never come. It is pre-ordered, and I'm impatiently waiting. I watched Pewdiepie's 4 hour stream of the game. I won't spoil it, but the story is HUGE. Three hours in and he hasn't even fought the first boss yet.

Kinda wish we could get the game a day early if pre-ordered because monday is a holiday here in Canada, but the game is coming, and that's all that matters.

Okay, I never expected you could float and lightning hands in this game. Wtf, this looks so cool. Happy I decided to preorder; looks like an absolute blast, literally. The design looks so fresh, too. Can't wait!!!
