HOW TO BE SAVED (How to KNOW you are saved and not just hope you are THE BAD NEWS All men have sinned and are in need of a Savior (Rom 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" ; Rev 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. No man can come to God by his own good works and righteousness. (Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;" THE GOOD NEWS 1 Timothy 1:15 tells us "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." How does Jesus save a sinner? From the beginning of the bible to the end, God has only forgiven sins through a BLOOD SACRIFICE, because he is a Holy God he can't forgive sins any other way, Heb 9:22 tells us, "...without shedding of blood is no remission." when Adam sinned, God had to kill a lamb in Adam's place as a substitue, In the Law of Moses, a Blood Sacrifice was demanded for the forgiviness of sins. Jesus came to die for the sins of the whole world, he came to be OUR Blood Sacrifice, OUR substittue, he came to bear OUR sins on the cross, in OUR place. John 1:29 "...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." What must you do to be saved? YOU MUST REPENT; You must change from unbelief to belief. admit you are guilty, that you cannot do anything to save or help save yourself, and that you need Jesus Christ as your savior. Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done. but according to his mercy he saved us," Romans 3:28 "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." YOU MUST TRUST; placing your complete faith in what Jesus Christ already did to save you; John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:." Salvation comes by believing in WHAT Jesus did for you, 1 Cor. 15:1-4 tells us "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW that Christ died for OUR SINS according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" All you have to do to be saved, and on your way to heaven is place your TRUST in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ and nothing else, as sufficient for your salvation, (Rom 3:25 "Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;") (Propitiation means the act of appeasing wrath, Jesus took your place on the cross.) Will you accept Jesus Christ as your savior by simple faith, simply trusting in his shed Blood for sufficient to save your soul from hell? The last sentence is all you must do to be saved, and that is FAITH, not works, TRUSTING in what someone else did for you is the only thing that is not a work. I haven’t had to lean down in quite awhile, I’ve just been on a balanced maintenance for a long time. But now being away from the gym for 3 months, and being stuck at home where I was eating and drinking more, now I need to cut. And I remember why I hate it. So I’m super new to “body building” as I’m basically just a 28 year old 5’6” guy that’s tired of looking weak. But I just wanted to say you guys seem like really nice genuine dudes and you never make me feel dumb when I learn from the content in your videos. You make this journey less intimidating.

Brandon (especially when we were younger) was VERY strict with his regiment and rarely - if ever - missed workouts or even had cheat meals for that matter. That paid off big time as his commitment and consistency while remaining in a calorie surplus built up his physique. For me it was much more trial and error and also realizing it's not so much going "all or nothing" but finding an eating/workout routine you enjoy and is also do able within your unique life circumstances. I absolutely love Buff Dudes content, but I got to say the title of this video is misleading. I wouldn't call this a beginner's guide to cutting, it was a vlog of Brandon and Mikayla (which you do say at the very end "it was a day in the life of us"). Felt a little like milking the SEO/keywords with that title. Anyways good content as always, but please don't start using misleading titles. Your content is good enough as it is without needing to draw "Beginners" in with a "guide" disguised as blog. Anyways, sorry to be "that guy" but hopefully you take it as constructive feedback. Have tbh...some of the content on here has me questioning the realism this kind of lifestyle for the average daily grinder. I'm talking about those who are shift-workers with young children who more than likely live paycheck to paycheck. When I'm working 9--12 hour shifts, where do I carve out the time for a full workout, a hike, a bike ride, and a 45 minute walk/run with the dog to start my day? Furthermore, paying for a subscription to Hello Fresh on top of monstrous grocery bills for a cart full of meats and organic fruits/veggies? Add to it working overnights, trying to get a full 8 hours of sleep during daytime hours....something has to give. Don't get me wrong, I love the channel and I love fitness content. What I have yet to see on youtube is the poor-man's breakdown of eating clean and a workout regimen built around a chaotic work/family schedule.

1) why would you lower carbs first? thats not the best idea 2) if you are eating at maintenance, you wont lose or gain anything, thats what being at maintenance calories means 3) recomping is only viable for beginners or people on that vitamin S, and even then regular cutting/bulking is superior

Thank you! We keep it simple for the recipe: 2 eggs, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1 scoop protein powder and a 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. We'll usually top it with all kinds of fruits and unsweetened apple sauce

Honest question here: How often do you need to take a shower a day? 😂 Seeing as your day involves Cardio and Strength Workouts, I would need a shower after each activity. Including the bike ride.. but then again I sweat even after 5 minutes of treadmill. And I work at the gym, so wouldn‘t call myself unathletic. How do you deal with that?
Trying to stay shower fresh all day every day is a bit unrealistic, especially if you want to stay fit. Use deodorant. Cologne also if that's your thing. Shower when it's convenient.

I’ve watched you guys for about 5-6 years and have gone from 145-195lbs! Tried to maintain a slow, gradual build. Unfortunately, I lack the home equipment to really maintain or improve :( Any thoughts on core equipment for a home gym?
Usually the important stuff is: bench (better if it can change inclination), squat rack(you can also bench,ohp,row,ecc there),a bar and some weights(the amount depending on your level),a few dumbbells (the jump in weight might have to be high if you have a low budget),a pullup bar,last thing is one of those cable machines that can switch position where you can do isolation stuff mostly

For me daily walks were a huge help, was an easy form of cardio that I did whilst listening to some podcasts/music

I absolutely love Buff Dudes content, but I got to say the title of this video is misleading. I wouldn't call this a beginner's guide to cutting, it was a vlog of Brandon and Mikayla (which you do say at the very end "it was a day in the life of us"). Felt a little like milking the SEO/keywords with that title.
Anyways good content as always, but please don't start using misleading titles. Your content is good enough as it is without needing to draw "Beginners" in with a "guide" disguised as blog.
Anyways, sorry to be "that guy" but hopefully you take it as constructive feedback.

Have been away at school for 3 years, lost all my gains but I am ready to rock again with the Buff Dudes! Good to see you guys are still doing it.
Have tbh...some of the content on here has me questioning the realism this kind of lifestyle for the average daily grinder. I'm talking about those who are shift-workers with young children who more than likely live paycheck to paycheck. When I'm working 9--12 hour shifts, where do I carve out the time for a full workout, a hike, a bike ride, and a 45 minute walk/run with the dog to start my day? Furthermore, paying for a subscription to Hello Fresh on top of monstrous grocery bills for a cart full of meats and organic fruits/veggies? Add to it working overnights, trying to get a full 8 hours of sleep during daytime hours....something has to give.
Don't get me wrong, I love the channel and I love fitness content. What I have yet to see on youtube is the poor-man's breakdown of eating clean and a workout regimen built around a chaotic work/family schedule.

You just lower the carb intake, lift heavy eat maintenance calories and you can lose body fat and gain muscle that way at same time.
Carbs do not matter. It’s as simple as calories in vs calories out.
1) why would you lower carbs first? thats not the best idea 2) if you are eating at maintenance, you wont lose or gain anything, thats what being at maintenance calories means 3) recomping is only viable for beginners or people on that vitamin S, and even then regular cutting/bulking is superior

Thank you! We keep it simple for the recipe: 2 eggs, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt, 1 scoop protein powder and a 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. We'll usually top it with all kinds of fruits and unsweetened apple sauce

Honest question here: How often do you need to take a shower a day? 😂 Seeing as your day involves Cardio and Strength Workouts, I would need a shower after each activity. Including the bike ride.. but then again I sweat even after 5 minutes of treadmill. And I work at the gym, so wouldn‘t call myself unathletic. How do you deal with that?
Trying to stay shower fresh all day every day is a bit unrealistic, especially if you want to stay fit. Use deodorant. Cologne also if that's your thing. Shower when it's convenient.

I’ve watched you guys for about 5-6 years and have gone from 145-195lbs! Tried to maintain a slow, gradual build. Unfortunately, I lack the home equipment to really maintain or improve :( Any thoughts on core equipment for a home gym?
Usually the important stuff is: bench (better if it can change inclination), squat rack(you can also bench,ohp,row,ecc there),a bar and some weights(the amount depending on your level),a few dumbbells (the jump in weight might have to be high if you have a low budget),a pullup bar,last thing is one of those cable machines that can switch position where you can do isolation stuff mostly
Adjustable dumb bells and adjustable bench set. That's all. Trust me.
And there are also some badass calisthenics routines you might want to try out.
