Hey Diego, I totally get where you're coming from. I was actually super careful about taking on sponsorships for exactly this reason. I know some people feel strongly about it, and that’s understandable. The thing is, making videos is my full-time gig, and when Insta360 reached out, it felt like a natural fit since I’d already been using their gear for years. Showcasing some of their camera's lets me share the parts I genuinely enjoy, and it also helps me keep creating the other content you see on the channel. At the end of the day, I’m a HUGE fan of Insta360 I nerd out on all their camera gear, and they've been fantastic to work with, so it’s been a win-win all around. Hope that makes sense ☺

You're right, you could probably get similar results by adjusting curves, color correction, and noise reduction in post. But when you're tight on time, not having to tweak every shot individually is a HUGE time saver. I always aim to make my edits as polished as possible, but if I can spend less time glued to Premiere Pro, that's a MASSIVE win!
@@TraceVelo No, I did not refer to adjusting curves or other corrections. The software used can't be duplicated with some basic adjustments. Hello Mr. Velo, I'm relative new to the channel, and I was wondering if you already have considered ordering a custom Titanium frame directly from a chinese factory and investigate the results, ordering, thought process, etc?
All well and good but free/cheap editing software that has this function still has a lot of limitations. For someone who cannot justify the expenditure of professional editing software, having this feature built in to the camera, and acting in real time, is a game changer. I doubt that the best music producers could create an auditory masterpiece with a 2 bus interface, a cheap 4 channel mixer and entry level Cubase, it will never sound anywhere near as good as a full studio setup. Why would video editing software be any different?
Yeah I suspect you are absolutely right, but even for me making videos for a living, not having to faff around with adjusting curves for each shot saves heaps of time in the edit.

Yeah I agree, GoPro have dropped the ball in the last few years. They used to absolutely DOMINATE the space, but i think Insta360 have experimented and done some real innovation, rather than relying on basic spec bumps every year.
But but but a mirrorless full frame camera like the shown Sony alpha is not a DSLR! DLSR have mirrors to reflect the picture to a viewfinder. Mirrorless cameras just beam everything directly to the sensor and all display shenanigans are done electronically. 🥖
I know, what a rookie error 🤦 I use DSLR in my head as a catch-all term to refer to a standalone camera with interchangable lenses. Side note, I would LOVE an A7Siii, the low light performance on that thing is BONKERS
GoPro are lagging somewhat at the minute. I've been holding off updating my Hero 8 waiting for a big jump in functionality. I think this may be it! I do a lot of night time MTB riding, this would be pretty good for that I'd bet. Huzzah 🥖🥖🥖
Yeah my Hero 8 has done some heavy lifting over the years, but it can't really hold a candle to what these cameras can do in low light. After sunset my old hero 8 is worse than useless, it's been relagated to my webcam these days 😂
I do love insta 360. I really like the new x4 I have. Just have to ask though. Why not just apply one of the many AI (filtering program)programs that do this to the GoPro footage in post? Or just do it yourself. Why get another camera? For run and gun situations this is a great product but if you plan to edit it post why not just use a program on the GoPro footage to do the same thing? Because I dount that camera will outperform the GoPro in all other situations. Looking at the footage on an 83” oled monitor will show you this camera is just boosting ISO and using AI as noise reduction. It’s sloppy on a larger screen than a 32” and looks like junk on an 83. I can clean up GoPro footage to look as good as hybrid footage with ND filters and software. Lol using the camera mic🙈. I highly suggest the new RODE lav system with 32bit float and internal recording.

@@TraceVeloyou are right. The run and gun ability is super nice. Also not everyone has a computer with the power to do edits with noise reduction and all the other boosting needed to make dark GoPro footage look good.
