Tyler is fortunate that he had the privilege and opportunities to start young and learned quick. He talks fast, direct, and delivers so much information and knowledge on every aspect of fishing in a fraction of time, much faster than other fishing podcast by far. There's so many podcast that talk slow like anglers are dumbfounded to the point you cant take it anymore and go to the next one and the next one. Hours will have passed by and you could have watched 20 TRF videos. Anyways thanks for all your QUICK knowledge videos, thus giving anglers more time to fish than watch slow boring videos. I'd say you have a great future ahead of you but your already living it..!! Thanks God bless..
"Hours will have passed by and you could have watched 20 TRF videos." could have put in hours on the water fishing* You aren't wrong tho. He reminds me of Matt Allen and Tim Little at TacticalBassin, but new-school
Yes!!!! I had IG’d you to make a video about all the terms about a month or so ago. I’m so glad you made this video! Can’t wait to watch this multiple times
TDIL: I have been “junk fishing” for about 6 months now. I have only been fishing for two years now. I usually have 4-5 rods and I mainly fish two basic areas. I also have a backpack with water, mosquito spray, sunscreen, hard lures, plastics, and tackle. Scale too. My new Neches River PB came after throwing almost everything I know. I decided to throw a KVD 1.5 Sexy Shad crank before I went home. 3rd cast, a 4# 9oz bass SMOKES it. It had been lurking there the whole time. It ignored everything but that Squarebill. I have caught fish on all different kinds of tackle at that hole. It all depends on the day and water conditions. Never think that just because something ain’t biting that nothing is there. Maybe that bass likes eating crawfish more than fish. Maybe it is an insectivore and likes eating bugs. Perhaps it developed a taste for birds or snakes… I change worms at least 3 times on one hole.
I personally do alot of junk fishing. I've personally won several tornaments doing nothing but junk fishing. My last time I had a chance I was on saline lake I was throwing a big worm around deep trees near the channel throwing a jig in the creek swings where a small creek channel or ditch hits the main channel crankbaiting low light stump flats near the channel with a topwater.
Honestly that's about the best way to fish that lake there are so few fish left in that lake between the salvaina them draining the lake and people "outlawing"keeping more than what they should no most people go out there and don't get a bite. I've had people in my boat with me with me trying to show them but then not listening because they caught one 12inch fish on a worm and they think they got a pattern when really and truthfully there no real way to put a pattern together and effectively catch good fish. It's more of a understand what for fishing and throw what you know to work in that area.
Most of the water in Oklahoma is muddy, but actually we have a couple of really clear lakes like lake Murray:) I haven't ever been able to land a bass, I've caught carp by accident (can't believe I got it ashore) so I need to learn as much as possible😁 thanks for the information in your videos.
Cover is like an object structure is the contours of the lake bed. Think about a Denny brauer structure jig. It's made to walk across the structure which is the bottom. The lake bed. A brushpile in 20 ft of water is still cover.
Lots of lakes and rivers have depth charts through surveys or DNR. There's also fish finders with GPS imbedded in them and through thise companies you can buy a chip with the maps pre-downloaded or you can cruise the lake and graph it yourself
Love the content Tyler keep up the good work! I just made my first youtube video and im hoping it does well! You've been a massive inspiration for me! I hope to be as cool and big as you one day!

When they're talking slowly I suggestions using the setting that allows you to watch videos at 1.25× speed
Thanks Tyler, I appreciate the game brother. May God bless you and your family. 🙏👍

How did you get the topographic map in the water

Go to nrv baits. He fishes for trout but he flips all the time and is damn good at it. He has a bunch of shorts.
Is a bluff similar to sea walls?
Can be, but usually a sea wall isn't that deep, and is totally straight down. Bluff can be to like 45 degrees I'd say
