I wish I could have seen how you cut the ficus and started the root ball enclosure, how much spagnum moss and pete moss do I need to use? Or is there a video I missed where you showed the process? I started using leca for my plants a year ago because of you and how beautiful your gorgeous plants are.❤
Hi Ms. Nora! Thank you for a great, informative video. I so appreciate you sharing about this. I purchased the balls you used to grow new roots but it didn't work well for me. Well, looking at how you did this using what looks like saran wrap around the sphagnum moss and then closing the ball over the plant area as you did might give me better results. I'm going to give it a try and let you know. Thanks. And, if you did a video on when you started that process, many of us would sure appreciate seeing it. Thanks again for continuing to educate us!
You are very welcome. I did not show it as I thought people would not be interested in that bit, shows what I know! I will do a video about that specifically.
I love that you share your problems with us to help us learn. What did you do with the original stem? I’m wondering if it would try to branch and grow.
I use candle wax on my cuts just because I am to impatient to wait and scared I'll forget about the plant, I've done that before. You must have a few Fiddles
I am so happy I got to see what you did with spagnum moss. I like the plant how it came out. I can’t find self watering pots like that. Maybe you can guide me? Nora I am enjoying your videos. Thank you
Thank you for this video! I have a very leggy fiddle. In your opinion, what works best for chopping a leggy fiddle - air layering or rooting cuttings in water?
Put a plastic bag over it as a little greenhouse, the moist air makes it easier for new leafs to form. Take the bag of after the first shoots and leaf develop.

You did not miss it. I just wrongly thought people are sick and tired of air layering videos. I will make one. ❤
This video was the sign I needed to start my fig over. Thanks Queen ❤

I just did this too. But what happened to the bare stem? I don't know what to do with it
