That part about “ breaking the video down to 40 second sections “ for your scenes was a good tip for me when it comes to editing and knowing how to show different scenes
It takes less time on set as well, you don’t have to run through the entire songs for performances.

Thanks for sharing this, I know that it takes a lot of time to make this type of videos, but it is what I like to see the most (personal opinion), it helps many, especially some details, even many times we forget that simplicity is the beauty
I stopped by to see if you were still making video's or not, as i think about restarting my interest in shooting video. Glad to see you are still going on with it. I used to watch you a lot a few years ago- love what you do. I stopped learning videography about a year and a half ago and got back into my music. Now that my band (Philly/NJ area) is just about ready to play out, and need to get my camera gear back out and start making rock video's.
I still have a Ronin S, a Mavic Pro, a Canon 80 D, some good lights and a few other things I didn't get rid of. I know it's some older stuff, but I don't like shooting in 4K anyway right now. I shoot 1080p and give it a final look in post and use film grain anyway. I can't afford to upgrade anything as of now. Maybe I'll start a new TH-cam channel that captures all the behind the scenes stuff, jokes, contentious practices where we go back and forth about our idea's, and some gig moments thrown in a good mix. I have to keep it fairly simple- so I don't detract from the actual band/music.

y’all let it go over ya head but peep how he said @5:42 “that shot was ass” like bruh when I say I felt that I FELT THAT as a fellow shooter if I can’t get the shot I’m envisioning ION WANT IT!!!!!! it can really be a lil frustrating especially when it feels like a simple easy shot but one thing I’ve learned after shooting over 100 music videos it’s the simple shots that are the hardest and the most pickiest one to get meanwhile the shots that we think is hard to get are real simple it’s crazy

I see you decided not to go with the GH6. I like it but I'm going full frame on my next major camera purchase. I will stick with the GH5. I can easily shoot 400mb 10 bit in camera and 4k60 10 bit in body as well as 1080 120 if I really needed something that slow. I definitely like how you implemented the iPhone into the video. I will probably start doing that on the next generation of iPhone. Maybe they will have the cinematic mode in 4k all the way to 60 or120fps! Keep up the great work my brother.

I added sharpness to this video, it depends on the vibe for the project. Sometimes I reduce sharpness
