I have a dx8G2 in the throttle curve and pitch curve setting I’m getting another box option, it’s an expo box, inhibit or active is the choices, then there is another box where I can set a delay, not sure what all that is, I have the spectrum manual and I can’t find anything about it. Any help would be great.
For a first time helo setup on a DX8, a few sections are confusing. My functions and xmtr display is totally different than your 12. Plus, your ceiling light reflection prevents clarity on what ur doing. I guess Ill look for someone who can dumb it down on the curves and mixing section. HH manual isnt begginer friendly either. I see someone is having the same issue below too.
Go to Servo Set up in radio, go to travel, go to pitch and move stick to the position you want to adjust. Sometimes travel will be like 100 for positive and 110 for negative. Another way is go Forward program, go to set up, go to AFR and increase pitch number to about 55. There is also a differential adjustment there. It kinda works sometimes. Depends on the situation. So that’s one other avenue.

Old 150s is better in my opinion. It has Safe and stunt modes. It has as3x. Smart is just telemetry. You don’t need telemetry for a 4 minute flight. Plus the new flight controller in the smart version doesn’t fly as well as the old one in my opinion. Look up the regular 150s manual to program your radio. Do exactly as it states. There is switches and some mixing to program. It’s all in the manual. Have fun.
So on a non-android radio (Example: DX6E) the same numbers and information will be on each menu to copy from the video, just without a touch screen, right?
I have a blade 130s that's brand new, I got got it with a RC lot i purchased. It has the spectrum ar6335a receiver, I'm wondering if it will work with a spectrum dx5e transmitter being I have one of those laying around?
It tells the gyro to change flight modes, I.E Stable, and Stunt Modes. All you have to do is set it up exactly like these 4 videos, and you will nail it. Most likely your mixing is wrong like mine was. Check how I changed mixing to be correct in the beginning of Video 2 of 150s set up. Manual is confusing. Just go through every setting till you find what doesn't match my settings. This is the correct way to do it. Don't guess. Have Fun.
@@CoeShow619 right on. The swash was twitching because of the gyro. Sadly I figured that out after I crashed and detonated the thing in my basement just now. Luckily I have a bunch of parts. That mixing thing i figured out after it spun up in hold mode on me a couple weeks ago. HH needs a NOTAM on that step in the manual.
ya maybe I dont learn if I set up with a sim card, but if I do my own set up and make a mistake its going to cost me another 500.00 helicopter. I always have a problem getting my bail out switch working right. get frustrated doing circles in menu and decide to just fly. Sure enough another lawn dart crumpled mess of a helicopter. oh well whats the difference going to end like that anyways soon enough. I fly blade plastic junk sh*t helicopters. ( sure to fail in the first 6 flights or none of your money back) They cant sell you another one if they make one with metal parts programmed to not crash. right? how hard would it be for them to sell one that takes off and anything under like 20 feet or whatever heeps it in one piece automatically kicks itself into safe mode at marked altitude. big enough to see with metal parts. not another 230 V2 that will either fly away in the wind or self destruct on your 4th flight. So ya I cant see the 230. I buy a 330 and the junk falls out of the sky like a brick on my second flight. They have me jump through hoops to get a return number and pay 50 bucks to ship all the broken plastic parts back. When they get it they say its too old and too many broken parts for them to tell what went wrong....hello mcfly the plasic junk broke and it fell back to earth at warp speed what the fu*k do they think they are going to see in the broken pieces duuuh. why even have me ship it to them. calll a spade a spade and just say your screwed. So of course I am a slow learner. I buy a 360 3s helicopter. screw up the set up and over control it right into second base out at the field in les tan 5 seconds. Uhhh well I know blade needs some more of my lunch money.. should I get a fusion 480?
I don't know . . . , but maybe consider the purchase of a good simulator? There you'll be able to crash all day long and not be a strain on your wallet. That's pretty much what I did. Once I learn a maneuver on the simulator I can't practise that maneuver in real world conditions. You'll still end up spending a couple of dollars now and then but not near what you'll spend without a simulator.

You will fly the 150s all the time I bet. It.'s a better heli imo. More durable, more powerful ect.

is the new smart version of the blade 150s compatible with the Spektrum DXS?
If you have 0 pitch at mid stick servos at 90 and you have way to much positive than negative how would you go about getting it right thanks

I can't put my Gear to switch B, on my Dx6Gen3. It doesn't show it as an option, do I just select gear?

You will need a 6 channel radio with a helicopter function. Dx5e is an airplane radio.

I have the DX9 and under the channel assign for number 5 gear, I cannot choose switch B. Can I choose gear?

Allright... in Channel Assign, when switching #5 Gear to switch B... what does that do exactly? Because now I hit that switch and the swash twitches.
