This is a pretty good list considering how hard Almighties is to rank, although I’m not a fan of how vague and somewhat contradictory the methodology is, especially when you mention Kuu/ Akira for Zeus and Warlock/ Bora for Aphrodite despite specifically saying units outside of the set won’t affect the ranking. Pretty suspicious why you would choose to mention those ubers in the video.
Those are just side notes that I felt to talk about as I said even when I brought them up they don't effect the ranking itself
@@TheGamingDuck-hl5qp I think you’re sort of missing my point. I say it’s suspicious that you mentioned those ubers because this ranking makes the most sense when you look at it in the perspective of “if I had every uber in the game, how would I rank” which isn’t reflected at all in your methodology, and it makes sense. Tem and Kieko were very clear influences to the ranking and their methodology resembles what I just described, to an extreme level.
I’ve said this before, but you would really benefit by creating your own methodology.
@@XskullDrSkull I rly wanna know what placements in particular makes u think this was looked at from a “if I had every Uber in the game, how would I rank” perspective, I’d be happy to help explain why they’ve been placed where they are. And no, I did not have an influence on this ranking, I’m almost positive that duck was set on his placements before I even met him, I never tried to change his mind other than saying lucifer should be lower than gaia and saying Poseidon should be first (jokingly), and as you can see, neither of these changes were made.
@@XskullDrSkull as far as i've known duck which is before kieko and tem, he's always been pretty clear about his rankings and they haven't changed pretty much at all. Also, he never lets his rankings get influenced in a way sort of stubborn (not a ba thing, there is a difference between that and taking an opinion into consideration).
And besides, his point abouts aphro and zeus aren't wrong. Even if bora, warlock, kuu, akira didn't exist, it would still be true that aphro's damage is underwhelming and that zeus' ultra talents are waste of resources. He's just saying that to emphasise those points, but it doesn't necessarily affect the ranking.
Getting the elephant out of the room, Aphrodite being placed so low very clearly exposes the nature of this ranking. Aphrodite is an all round solid sniper in terms of generalist and can be used alongside other attackers for additional chip while still maintaining an incredibly strong alien niche that lets her remain relevant in later game areas as a specialist.
Aphrodite only starts looking faulty when you directly compare her to other snipers such as Daliasan, Saki, and Phono. In a methodology that involves owning every uber, it would make sense to rank Aphrodite low as there does exist a multitude of ubers that outclass Aphro either as a generalist or a specialist.
Unfortunately, Duck’s methodology says no. Competition outside of the set does not affect ranking, so Aphrodite has a clear field to rank in at the bare minimum of the middle of the set.
In terms of competition inside the set which the methodology does emphasize, Aphro’s low placement still makes little sense. Even though Ganesha and arguably Lucifer are better snipers than Aphro, it still shouldn’t impact Aphro’s placement that much unless the methodology assumes you have all almighties, and now we’re back at square one.
Aphrodite isn’t the only one who contradicts Duck's methodology. Amaterasu and Ganesha’s unusually lower placements also make more sense looking in an every uber methodology.
In an every uber methodology, someone like Amaterasu will rank lower due to her being a fairly generic backliner (albeit still carrying one of the highest general DPS) and owning all other specialist backliners will de-value Amaterasu due to the nature of how specialists thrive in later game meta. Amaterasu also faces competition from Gao and Sirius, meaning that what Amaterasu can offer is also found in other ubers.
Similar story can be told with Ganesha. While he is one of the strongest stat based LD attackers amongst ubers, other stronger ubers (specifically top ubers such as Kaslis and Phonos) out compete Ganesha with their higher stats or more fleshed out ability set. Similarly to Amaterasu, you can also find what Ganesha has to offer through other ubers.
This is why Hades and Poseidon are so high. These ubers have properties that can’t be found easily in other ubers, and thus they earn a high ranking due to their uniqueness which gives them more value.
But remember, Duck’s methodology doesn’t account for the existence of other ubers outside of the set, so the uniqueness argument for Hades and Poseidon starts to crumble.
The last thing I want to mention is the vagueness of Duck’s methodology. “Ranked based off of how they compare to each other” like no shit? That’s the literal goal of a ranking. Methodology is supposed to be a guide for how you compare ubers to each other.
I want to emphasize that an every uber methodology isn’t a bad way to rank, rather the methodology was just very poorly communicated and ended up being contradictory towards what the actual ranking is.
By no means am I saying the ranking itself is bad. A ranking is good or bad based on how consistently you follow your methodology, not whether X unit is higher than Y unit.
TL:DR: The ranking is fine, but the methodology was poorly executed.

zooz : C.Bahamut but better
Anubis : A failed rusher
Aphro : Nerd cat but with a shit ton of damage towards aliens
Gaia : Dont have
Lucifer : Dont have
Ganesha : Big knuckle go boom
Hades : Good Hp and Decent amount of damage
Amaratsu : Amazing against traitless but bad generalist usage
Poseiden : Yukimura but with longer range and savage blow and freeze
Chronos : Mitama but freeze

An Uber can fall off in the meta when their role isn’t as valued anymore. For example, Aphrodite. Yeah, Aphrodite used to be good back then, not anymore. This is because the enemies are boosted heavily and her little dmg isn’t enough anymore. Her high range isn’t good anymore as things like surge can reach her and not to mention enemies are a load more aggressive so snipers just fall off later in the game. You can’t use her alongside other attackers since her dmg is so little, might as well just use an actual attacker.
