@ it was beneficial. They talk how to be husband and wife, family relations after marriage and stuff like that. How to do ghusl? It’s good. They might have more material now, i took mine 16yrs ago. Lol.
Has it crossed any man’s mind that perhaps women went into over drive with the career mindset due to abuse, infidelity and feeling alone taking care of children? It created such an aversion to being put in a position where you’re stuck depending on a man that does not respect his marriage that it doesn’t seem like a free great deal to a lot of women to get stuck with 5 kids while your husband cheats with his secretaries. The examples are so far and wide, our mothers and grand mothers dealt with this too? It’s hard to understand from where man stand bc they are the ones who make their own money and aren’t put into a position of swallowing abuse. Please brothers, stop pinning this solely on women not wanting to get married bc a career is more important. That’s not the entire reason that’s surface survival mode. Please enough already.
The Prophet (s.a.w.) said a woman is married for 4 things: - wealth - status - beauty - religion High value men who attract religious, beautiful women need to work on themselves: - wealth = get a halal income good paying job - status = become a manager, doctor, engineer, etc. - beauty = go to the gym and become physically healthy - religion = learn and practice his deen But most brothers are too lazy and would rather complain and do nothing to better themselves at all 😒
Crazy that a smartphone can do this. It's replaced my compact camera, just keep my fuji xpro2 for fun, Olympus setup for travel and full frame I'm barely even using these days. I'm just a light hobby photographer
There’s this amazing series it was recommended by ustadh Tim humble. It strictly follows the Quran and Sunnah, it’s called The Muslim Family series by Muhammad Jibaly. They’re four books, each one talks about a different part of the marriage process
Not today. Today wife has more right over mother. Wife her parents is will dictates who he meet who he can have relationship. Allah save from fitna and guide us to fulfill out right toward wife, parents and relatives. Amin
ONLY marry someone who will help you draw closer to Allah and help you prepare for the Akhirah.
Yeah someone who would spank you when you miss your prayer or become lazy!
A much needed topic that should be spread everywhere and talked about a lot more

Marriage is a long life journey. It's like ibadah that you have to do

Where can I find a guideline on those marriage rights and obligations? Is there a book to read that’s reputable and in English ?
Yes - please see the book The Rights of The Husband and Wife by Shaykh ‘Abdul Hadi Al Kharsah (translation: Mahdi Lock.)
