Pink 😮. There is a difference between character, and needing to fix imperfections that would make something look new, updated, not in need of repair. Support your personal vision on what’s yours, but if things look in need of repair, and it’s obvious, it takes away from the beauty of your vision.
Yes of course we will fix things that are broken but little minor chips or scratches are no biggy to me.
Some times we don't think we deserve the best it can be we just settle or go half way. Just make sure you take care of Kim and be happy 😅

If you go back and see it from the start, we've made it so much better. We did deserve better and we got better. All the grossness is gone and we have a safe, happy + loving place to call home. I don't need to erase every little knick to have a home worthy of living. I'm proud of the home Gods built for us. It's a blessing. Finding joy and contentment in the little things allows us to see beauty where others may not see it. The flaws are beautiful to me doesn't mean I think less of myself and deserve more. I have everything I ever wanted and could need. ♥️

Hi Kimi, I watch Kelly's Korner and seen she watches you so I subscribed to your channel as well. Love the pink. Just a lil tip for using the icing decorator bag for the cupcakes. Start in the middle and squeeze in a circle going to the edge of the cupcake it makes it much easier and smoother to make the circle. Great job !!

Hey Kimi...I can't believe it because I don't like pink on walls but that actually worked! It looks like the inside of a sea shell....if you want to lighten it you could mix some of your white in some of the pink and do another coat....I also like the way the pink seems to draw out more color in the back splash!

I think it gives a cute pop of color! And, if you decide you don't like it, you can always paint over it! Which is the best part about painting! I have painted a lot in my home, and I feel its a great way to change the look and feel of a room without spending a fortune. Since its your home, it doesn't really matter if anyone else likes it besides you guys! 👍 I love your makeovers, they always motivate me, and lately ive been lacking motivation! Once the good weather gets here, I'll have more energy 🙏 I hope!
I actually like the pink accent in your kitchen, though I'm stuck on a yellow kitchen like when i was growing up! However when I was a kid I always had a pink bedroom and I loved it so much that even my girls had a pink bedroom. One of my fondest memories was my Aunt's house was the only pink house on the block and I loved it! Here's what I have to say about it, to each his own, so go for it Kimi!❤
Hey kimi,,just an idea 4 you,,4 as little of the area,as it is,, you cld always add some white to it & create your own shade of lite pink,,I think it will dry lighter than it goes on tho 😉 not sure,,you can experiment on that underside & then paint that too,,lol why not 👍
All I can see is a pretty bouquet of pink faux peonies in a milkglass or iridescent vase in the kitchen to accent! 😍
You should get some Easter kitchen towels, pot holders, place mats with pink color.

It’s your home and whatever makes you happy. A pop of color like pink can always be fun. If later that shade of pink seems to much maybe mix some pink & white till you get a shade you do like. Love you makeover videos too
Quit listening to those people. It is your house. Let them fix their houses the way they want. This is yours and you can do it however you want. Let that nit-picky stuff just slide off your back. I love the pink. It's fun. The only thing else I would do would be the next time you shampoo your carpet, I would take the upholstery attachments and shampoo the stools so it's all fresh. But as you said, I like the character too so I get it. be you. be fun. be amazing.
That's a great idea and we have one of those green machines that is for furniture so definitely doing this!

Kimi your home is your happy place don’t let people tell you anything else. The little touch of pink, is great. I have taken dark paint add some white made my own lighter colour. I love those stools, I would take them outside put garbage bag on them spray paint primer, then spray pretty gold.
Now all you need are some pink flowers 4 your counter!!I love it,,you're right about your chairs,,they're hotel chairs,,we had them years ago at the famous Holiday Inn' that's what we called them,,they'll last 4ever😮😊

Hi Kimmie! You are doing so many projects these days and your home is looking very nice! My Dad painted our TV room a pink color in the 1970’s and designed and built a red lounge chair to go with color of the walls. It was so nice. I like what you did it looks so pretty! You can always add some pretty spring colors in a planter on your counter top and maybe some colorful pastel placemats too where you can sit and have your coffee and laptop and enjoy. 🌸🌷🌸

It's holding up good! I had to put clear tape on some of the edges but otherwise it's doing good

I'm a 80s girl, so love those chairs. I just got a high sheen metallic gold spray paint, and painted a lot of my decor. Turned out great! You could definitely lightly sand off the rust and repaint a gold finish on them.

I almost never refrigerate my karft parmesan and I've never been sick. Many resturants I've worked at in years past didn't either.

( that’s what my husband would look like but also he’s like yours, if I like it he’s ok) A little hint if you do want it lighter pink ,don’t go buy more paint just mix some of your white in with some of the pink until you have your desired color ( use a big enough container so you will have enough for touch) anyway Thank You so much for sharing with us. Just found your channel. I love pink and used to have all pink in my kitchen. I think some under counter lights would lighten the shad of pink if you think it is a bit too dark but up to you. I love it and can't wait to see more videos. Have a good night ❤

To be honest, not a fan. Do you and Aaron talk about the plans? Just wondered how he liked it. My hubby agrees with most of my ideas, but not all. :) And I agree with the caulking idea. It makes a huge difference. You are moving right along and the place is really looking good.
We do, I let him know my idea beforehand and he 99% of the time is right on board with it. He gets joy from seeing me excited and happy so I think that's why he's always supportive

Hey Kimi the space between the floor and the cabinet… check to see if it is drafty at all. It is possible to lose cool air or heat through gaps like that. If you notice that it is drafty you can fix it really easily! They make this foam rope you can shove in there and then caulk and paint over it. I did this with a lot of drafty areas in my home and it made a huge difference comfort wise!
Also I think the gold looks good with the pink. Barkeepers friend takes off rust. Make a paste with it and rub it on and let it sit for about 15 minutes and then scrub off. Might have to do it a few times but it has always worked well for me

I think if you like pink be happy. Because it’s part of the kitchen ,I would have gone with the blue tones to incorporate it in the kitchen. It’s only paint and can be changed.
I'm adding pink curtains to the kitchen window to tie it all together and maybe some pink hand towels / oven mitts for accents
Hi Kimi,when I make cupcakes or puddings I pour the batter into a measuring cup to fill the liner's instead if a spoon.Less messy n faster too.
