What I love about Nic is that he’s not trying to be exactly like Bob. He is his own artist, but he’s keeping the dreams, styles, and work of Bob alive. It truly feels like he’s continuing on a legacy, and doing a great job of it! I can’t wait to see more from Nic in the future!
Nic is actually pretty good. The interesting part is to see how so much different Nic's outcome is vs. Bob's. Nic seems to have perfected contrast and the perception of the effect of lighting on the scene in a very "artsy" way. Bob in my opinion was superior in depth perception and shadows to where it often felt like something you'd see in a dream. Same technique, but just two different perspectives. It's intriguing.
Don't stop making Nic videos please! I'm sure it's a lot of pressure to keep the Bob Ross dream alive but Nic is doing a great job of it ☺️ beautiful paintings and commentary, really inspiring us to paint!
I want to see Nic paint more Bob like paintings and he has his own artistic tastes to that are a joy to watch, such an amazing artist, Bob would be proud of this 🎨
@@ultimatesoccer8680 Its expensive to startup. Get the basic Bob Ross paint and brush kit, plenty of paint thinner, the brush screen and a beater. Thank you Nic, I want to leave the best comment I can leave and I think its this. This shows you make even better seascapes than Bob himself, and he would invite you to be on the show if he was able. I'm a huge fan of Bob, and plan on taking up his painting technique within the next 6 months when I have the money to get the supplies, and I've never wanted to paint a sea scape, even when watching Bob, until I've seen this video.
I still watch Bob Ross on PBS & sometines they have Nick on. I enjoy both. Nick is a wonderfil painter & he explains more when painting as he is a BR instructor. Bob always said your picture doesn't have to be the same as his but make it your own. I find his voice relaxing to me as I did Bob's also. Bob's was a little more soothing but I like them both. Thank you Nick for continuig Bob's work. 😊❤❤❤

I remember growing up watching Bobs videos as a kid. Tapered off in my teen years and simply moved on as an adult. I recently began to rewatch his videos on YT. But one disconcerting thing I came across is the mass merchandising of his name over the last few years. From coffee cups to towels. They , in my opinion, are ruining this man’s legacy buy putting his face on every cheap commercial nonsense they can find. This gentleman is doing a fantastic job carrying the torch. Hope it continues.
So far, despite my love and gratefulness to Bob for helping me learn landscapes and wonderful techniques , I feel these paintings Nic produces have a more modern feel. So I will watch Nic and no longer hold off due to my faithfulness to Bob.
