Just watched a Bob Ross documentary on Netflix, it was such an eye opener, it saddened me to see how his own son who often painted with him , fought the powers that be for his father’s name …….the things people do for money. Bob Ross may your legacy live on in all the people who watched you make little happy clouds and little happy trees.

I love that Nic has found a balance of being his own person while also throwing in some classic Bob Ross lines to continue on his legacy.

I agreed, until I saw the Netflix documentary. I think all of us who watched the show while Bob was alive hoped to find the proper continuity to his legacy, but the exploitation of his name doesn't seem right or honest to me.

I have loved Bob since I was a child. Every Saturday was dedicated to watching the guy paint. Never got the hang of it, but never ruined my enjoyment of watching Bob paint. I’ve been watching the channel for a while now. I’m glad Nic is here. I’d love to see him pick up a second series of the Joy of Painting. This channel has been a lifesaver for my anxiety.

I applaud you and am sending thanks, love and gratitude, for carrying on Bob's legacy. My heart is so happy right now. God bless!
