I ate Little Debbie. Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookies from 1979 to about 1994 but then, as most companies do, they changed the formulation and started using High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) and preservatives because they don’t want to go to the stores to replenish the cookies every 2 weeks or so but instead want them shelf stable for 3 or 4 months. She’s using Kroger Whipped Topping, Dolly Pardon Chocolate Frosting, Graham Crackers and Jello? This dessert is a diabetic nightmare!
I knew they tasted different. When i was a kid before u could buy them in bulk they were so delicious. Now they taste so artificial and disgusting smh. I stooped eating them all together once they switched up.
Is there a recipe for the original Little Debbie Oatmeal Cookies online? Edit: bcus I'm tired of these cookies nowadays. I much prefer the originals. They started doing the same thing with chips to

That is the definition of “broke da mouth”. It looks really good. I must try. I’m guessing a day in the fridge will make the gram cracker softer so it is more like cake. Much love from Hawaii. Aloha

Due to the amount of liquid, it would need to be consumed pretty quickly as the "breads" would absorb the liquids to the point of mushiness. But a smaller, more quickly consumed portion would work 👍🏽
