The Ruthven home was beautiful, I love all the softly colored oriental rugs. The furniture was pretty and the grounds. The Queen Anne in Appalachacola (sp) was a knockout too, that fireplace with that gorgeous green tile was beautiful.
GOOD MORNING - Yes, must say, all five are outstanding. I hope they sell in 2024 with great success. Love your show...............soooooo........interesting. Hope you two will have a great year ahead with many returns. You have the best of content, and best of show....than any other show. Thank you for your time, and hard work. Take care, beware, be safe. Love.
#2 is my #1 hands down! All that woodwork in the center hall is so warm and beautiful and I love all the unpainted doors and window casings. Install some soapstone or Carrara marble countertops in the kitchen and butler’s pantry and it would be absolute perfection ❤️
Truly a monumental task to come up with such a short list. My favorite is always the one ya'll are currently featuring so I'd never be able to decide. Thanks for doing it for me.
Great video!! So wonderful revisiting these ❣ Ahhh Wigwam you will be my #1 forever! A Queen Anne just came up for sale in Hot Springs Arkansas. I wish the owners would pay you to video this home in your unique style!!
The Weaver-Dallas house has remained my favorite. It was the black trim/chair rail that truly caught my attention. It was that house that inspired me to finally be bold enough to paint our trim black. The little puppet stage was just an adorable bonus. 💚
The Weefing House (never can get the name right) is MINE and should be #1, but don't tell anybody. I have watched this tour over and over again.. You guys are wonderful! Love your videos. ❤
I love this video so much, thank you for giving everyone a glimpse of what homes are still available, all are so amazing for many many different reasons, my tip 2 are Wigwam and hotz ❤❤❤
I recently spent time in Augusta, GA for several weeks and there are many historical homes. I was impressed to see they are still well maintained by the current owners. Thanks for sharing
My goodness, thanksgiving must’ve thrown me off. I never miss these but I didn’t even know there was a video until today. 🤦🏼♀️ If I had all the money in the world, Wigwam would be MINE! ❤❤❤❤❤
Signal is my fav, too. I have dreams about decorating that place. The details are amazing, and it's grand without being ostentatious. The lines of the interior are delicate...almost feminine, and so graceful. I'm in love! Thank you for this top five. Very fun!
You guys never disappoint. I always feel happy when I watch your show....please, don't ever go HGTV, they will change you. Thanks for a great show. I'd love to see what the 4 sisters looked like.
W O W!!! I can see why you two had so much trouble getting them down to 5! But I think you got the last one being the best! If I had the money to buy and keep it up, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. If they are all unsold, are they occupied? They didn’t appear to be, so why not organize a tour? Yes you may have a few scuff marks or something, but what an opportunity for some people to get to see real American History.
Happy Thanksgiving Laine and Kevin. They are all stunning homes and you have definitely sold me on Natchez, but for me, I prefer the more casual interior fo the Florida home since I would not feel so much pressure to decorate in the high style of the period.
I honestly have a challenging time choosing because these homes are all incredibly beautiful. The architecture along with the furnishings are exquisite. You are spot on when you say they are "spectacular". I wish I had deep pockets.
Wow! I have to agree with Laine about the Wigwam. The quality and master workmanship in this beauty is breathtaking. The 4 ladies that had this home built had exquisite taste. I would love to know what it would cost today for this much quality. Thanks guys, this was so much fun! ❤️
I can see why you had such a hard time ranking these exquisite homes. Personally, I liked #5 (the first house) the best My realtor friend would say the reason a property isnt selling is that it isnt priced correctly.
Well, most of these properties are priced over a million dollars, so the more likely reason is that the buyer pool in their area is very limited. It just takes a while.
How are three out of the top five in Natchez, MS? I know Natchez is known for architecture, but dang! Wonderful video, I loved the Queen Anne! Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! ❤️
Would love to see more homes in the St Francisville (LA) area featured, as well as those in the rest of LA. Louisiana has tons of antebellum homes but, unfortunately, for a fan like me, most are not open to the public, as they are private. Many that I passed by are getting ready to be restored. (I’ve done the tours on River Road.). Thanks to a book that lists the homes throughout the state, I was recently able to see them from the outside, so could only wonder what they were like inside. I bet the cost of maintenance of these homes turns off a lot of buyers. Also, if there are regulations as to what you can and can’t do to a home, that can also discourage buyers for good reason. While not centering on a house, maybe you can do a video on brown cotton, which is grown in Louisiana and Mississippi. I wasn’t aware of it until I was at the visitor’s center in St Francisville. It’s being revived, and the most beautiful products are being made from it by many local artisans in that area. Don’t forget to pick up your “Angola, Gated Community” tee shirt. Glad I stumbled onto your channel after visiting Natchez twice - once for Pilgrimage. It brings back so many fond memories.
This was a fun re-visit of these great homes. I agree...so hard to decide! I hope the right people eventually make the purchases with love and vision, and maintain them for future generations. The private parkland is incredible, yet that may intimidate some buyers. I have a hard time keeping up with my 1/3 acre place. Always fun to visit with you two. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Glad you took a day off. Cheers! :)
Of course they are stunning! I'm curious based on State the likelihood of anyone of the ones you show us becoming B&Bs? Can't wait for your next on Hope Farm, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Number 2 was my favorite! Those cubbies and that ladder to the widows walk and the milk paint door ❤❤❤
We came to Natchez after seeing your wonderful videos! We are looking for a great Historic property!
I’m so glad. Good luck on your property search.

How wonderful to sit with a cup of coffee and tour homes with you two.

They are all beautiful homes!! Wow! Incredible!! Thanks guys so much for this.....
Always loved The Wigwam. That little corner of town is so special with 6 important homes grouped together- two of which are almost secrets
I remember fondly all of these houses and their fabulous video tours, and I have to agree with Laine, Wigwam is the one that stands out for me!
Great video!! So wonderful revisiting these ❣ Ahhh Wigwam you will be my #1 forever!
A Queen Anne just came up for sale in Hot Springs Arkansas. I wish the owners would pay you to video this home in your unique style!!

Okay....now that I've finished the video, wigwam is officially my #2! Once again, it's the touches of black that has my heart. 🖤
The Weefing House (never can get the name right) is MINE and should be #1, but don't tell anybody. I have watched this tour over and over again.. You guys are wonderful! Love your videos. ❤
Beautiful. All just beautiful!
I love this video so much, thank you for giving everyone a glimpse of what homes are still available, all are so amazing for many many different reasons, my tip 2 are Wigwam and hotz ❤❤❤
Yes number 2 is my number 1 !!!!!!!!

Happy holidays! We did release this a day later than usual.
Shields was my favorite 😍

I'm in love! Thank you for this top five. Very fun!
I hate auto correct!!! That should be the Wigwam!

Great video - all five are lovely homes! Hope to make it to Natchez one day!
They are all beautiful homes!
Gosh, I am speechless ❤
Love you guys!
I wish I could buy them all.
Yes! WIGWAM NUMBER ONE TO ME TOO!
What beautiful homes!! I can see why you picked #1. The moldings and the ceiling were just incredible. Thank you so much for sharing.
You guys never disappoint. I always feel happy when I watch your show....please, don't ever go HGTV, they will change you. Thanks for a great show. I'd love to see what the 4 sisters looked like.
Totally agree with the comment about HGTV. But I don’t think Laine would ever go over “to the dark side” lol. She enjoys being herself far too much!!😂
Hi Laine and Kevin! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving :)))
Thank you! You too!

They are on tour this spring and we are hosting a party weekend! March 15,16,17
Happy Thanksgiving Laine and Kevin. They are all stunning homes and you have definitely sold me on Natchez, but for me, I prefer the more casual interior fo the Florida home since I would not feel so much pressure to decorate in the high style of the period.
Trust us, it was number one in many parts of our hearts! Having a Queen Anne so beautifully restored by the bay?!?! DREAM

Gorgeous homes!!
I can't make up my mind; so I'll take them all. 😊
SAME

Because these are OUR top five! What would your top five be? And remember, they have to be still for sale. Let us know!

We plan to venture into Louisiana more in the near future.

Happy Thanksgiving

I could see one or two being made into B&Bs but none of them are currently
@@OurRestorationNation Oak Hill was the first that came to mind for one, but Queen Apalachicola seems a solid choice too! 👍
I see why you chose number 1 for 1
❤
😮 ❤
Wig Wam is the bomb! Favorite of all time.
Both parties can agree just as long as it screws over the people and takes away our money and freedom. 😂
