Dang it!!! My poor fever, they needed to win this game. Well, they didn't need to, but for me they needed to.

It was honestly Clark and Boston vs All Dallas Wings
In a game where SIX players on the Fever team played an average of 30 minutes each, the most assists that any other player aside from CC had was three (AB and Samuelson). Kelsey Mitchell had ONE, Nalyssa Smith and Lexi Hull both had ZERO. Now let us look at the Wings team. There were SIX players who had an average of 31 mins between them and THREE of their players had 7+ assists for the game and the other three players had at least one. Interestingly enough, ALL SIX of those Wings players had double digit points for the night.
So, once again it is EVIDENT that CC registers these high numbers in assists because the rest of her teammates either don't know how or care to assist each other. Hence, whenever CC assist numbers are registered, one must put it in context because the FACT is if she were playing for any of the top teams in the league it would not be so padded because the top teams have top notch players who know how to ASSIST.
Having said all that, this is in no way suggesting that CC is not an elite passer of the ball because she undeniably is, just that her stats are helped in a big way by how POOR her teammates are in that area. Trust me, if the others don't get better at it, then the Fever will not progress as far as they can and would want.
Sides can NOT come back next season, the Fever NEED to take a realistic look at this roster beyond Clark n Boston. Seriously think the only two that should be back next season are Boston n Clark with a complete roster over haul of new teammates, they need to get two three point specialists that just hit the corners cause if they did that Clark would have a million assists in a game n they would score relentlessly.
On this one, its poor 3pt shooting that loss it for the Fever. They died by the 3. 6 out of 25. CC 2 out of 9, Katie 1 out of 6, Kelsey 1 out of 3... Also Kelsey was hobbled to only 10 FG although at 60% eff. She usualyy gets 15 to 20 shots off. She's the energizer bunny of this team.
The Fever are either on fire and crushing or just ugly

Glad the ball hog is leaving; the front court will get the ball more and on time. The other guards will play better with a better flow with the guards .
I'm not sure that's accurate that you got a great draft pick. You got Connecticut's draft pick and with Mabrey they'll be even better so that's going to be one of the worst 1st round picks you could get. You traded basically an all-star level shooting guard and your 2nd round draft pick for possibly the worst 1st round draft pick and 2 bench players. The 2nd round draft pick you traded them is almost as good as the 1st round pick you got in return.

I'm glad that Dallas won and CC took another L. The Mabrey trade made since because is freed the Sky from her $210,994 salary and picked up additional players. Trading Diamond and Dana makes good sense if they can get a good forward.

Well DW got 10 steals on IF. And every one on IF is drawing duds on 3s from CC, Katie and Kelsey. Just 24% on 3. Kelsey was lethargic today not sure why.
No. The game was practically over with IF possessing the ball. Sometimes a player will get sidetracked with collecting stats and make a bone headed play that contributes to a lost.
When Fever finally reclaimed the lead & had picked up the pace, Sides had 3 choices. 1) keep Dantas in 2) sub Boston in for Dantas 3) decide now is the best time to experiment with a never before tried rotation. Sub Boston in for KLS (Think that’s who if I’m remembering correctly?)Randomly try running a rotation with 2 bigs who have not played much, if any, on court together. Do this & completely ignore that Dantas was already struggling with the faster pace. Dantas cannot contribute on offense while also getting back on defense. Wings go on a run & by the time Sides finally tries to fix it, Fever have lost the lead & their momentum. Sides has to go over break or fans will stop watching. It’s too painful because Sides doesn’t learn from her mistakes & never takes any responsibility.
