I've been watching your videos for about 4 or 5 years now, I think since your original trip on the tour divide. I've tried to get into watching other bikepacking content but can't seem to find the same blend of exceptional positivity, attitude of gratitude, charismatic delivery, excellent editing and photography anywhere else! Keep getting out there man! Hopefully one day you might head over to the UK to check out some of our routes! Loving the vids.
Putting yourself out there sure has helped bring the world a little more happiness. I know that you didn't reach your race goal - but you sure met your life goal!
I just my longest hardest ride ever. I rode the STP. Seattle to portland about 206 miles in 2 days. You have definitely inspired me and a lot of others to take on challenges we never thought possible. Your videos are beautiful. Your words are kind and inspiring. All around you are an amazing human.
The support you receive is awesome....really shows how much meaning your content has. I got goosebumps on some of those encounters. One of these days maybe I'll 'run' into you. Thanks for putting these videos together....I appreciate you bringing us along!!!
Oh Ryan! The community of love you’ve created is just so amazing! We passed a lot of love for Duzer signs along the route and we felt a part of the community too. Also, we had pizza in Whitefish at Jersey Mikes too. I’ve never eaten so much pizza so fast as after riding over Red Meadow. 😊
Just ran into someone at the local bike shop that told me they got into cycling because of Duzer. I have to say you are doing a good job getting people into cycling keep up the good work and I hope to someday see you on the road when I am doing my tours.
Great videos, I really enjoy your content! We didn’t meet on the tour but were pretty close much of the time. I was one of the lucky ones on day 2 and got the last bunk in Butts Cabin and was almost sleeping when you came in to warm up. And on day 4 Trackleader shows I was about 25 min behind you coming up the road to Red Meadow Lake--and I saw (had to have been) that same bobcat! Seeing that cat was one of my tour wildlife highlights.
Had a DUZER moment a few weeks ago. Scene: Me a roadie on an unladen carbon road bike, 50 miles into a 60 mile ride. It was incredibly hot and humid in a very rural back road in upstate NY. I caught a guy on a fully laden touring bike in the middle of a long climb, I was hurting, gave him a wave and hello as I passed with my head down. 2 mile descent was glorious and I noticed he was a couple of hundred yards back and matching my pace. I am dreaming of cold drinks and a cold shower at home in 10 miles. But a thought pops into my head from nowhere; “What would DUZER do?”. I am a grumpy introvert, so I ignored this for a mile or so, then again, “WWDD?”. I sat up, slowed down and had a lovely chat with a guy on his last push, last day off a 400 mile ride from NYC, he really wanted to chat and was looking for tips on my home town. Ryan, your grace has an effect on people far and wide on a daily basis. Keep riding, keep being you.
Random Thursday bonus Duzer episode? SWEET!!! All of the trail angel love in this one truly made my day. Love all of the honesty and vulnerability you share with us, and it really reminds us that it's okay to be one with our vulnerabilities out on the trail. Also, yeah, warmer is better. No snowies, no freezies... I think I'm okay with Icees though, especially wild cherry!
Wow and double wow, people love you Ryan. Me too! I was a bit worried when I saw a new video on a Thursday and thought I somehow had spaced out and it was already Sunday again. :) The scenery is beautiful! I did find it difficult to watch you cycling in the wet sloppy mud and the very cold weather. You are one tough man! I would have been weeping. Thank you for another inspiring video!
Love your videos and passion for cycling. To be on a journey like this and see your fans along the way must be awesome and very motivating. Keep up the good work! 👍
I just stumbled on your channel and i love you 😊. Your awesome. When you mentioned about the great people you meet, great sights you saw and adventure thats whats bikepacking/touring is all about Ryan😊😊😊
Wait.. it's not Sunday. We get a mid-week Duzer video? Bonus! Hope John and Mira are doing well; he hasn't posted to youtube in months. Bike people all over the world know who you are and come out to say hi, that's so cool! How very heart warming. You stayed the same place as the legend Mike Hall! Great video, thanks for sharing, this was a good one.
I am doing my semi-annual Big Bear, CA, ride, and this time, my stepfather is with me. We watched your SoCalRambler again and are going to retrace your route on our bikes today. Plus, we just got back from bike-packing Catalina Island for three days yesterday. You continue to inspire Ryan.
SO cool people came to see you and/or ride with you!! I've been seeing the same for the last 78 days with Lael Wilcox as she Rides Around the World. Your videos are terrific -- I always look forward to them!
Another lovely vid' Ryan. Thank you. Maybe have a look through a motorcycle shop for some winter glove options should you plan another adventure in cold conditions. You can always post them home to yourself once it warms up 🤷🏻♂
I want to tank you for all of your videos . I am so sorry that you were unabe to finish the race but you made the right decision . I am 80 years old and ride 6 days a week 25 to 30 miles .Would love to meet you in person best of luck and keep on doing what you do , Bob ..PS I had to switch to an E bike haha.
Man I love your videos SO SO MUCH!! Truly inspire me to get out on my bike even for a 5 mile ride. I will work my way up to bigger things! My first goal is to ride my bike all the way from Lakewood to Red Rocks!
Having hiked in snow, It does help to bring some attachable handwarmers that can slide inside gloves. I think there are rechargeable warming handles as well but can't speak how well they work. Hope saddle problems are figured out. You meet a lot of interesting people along the way.
There is currently a Lay's potato chip commercial, where starting wirh a soccer team, then a mass of people sing "Oh Lay's! - Oh Lay's! - Oh Lay's!" to "Ole`! - Ole`! - Ole`!" You do in the tunnels and under overpasses.
The Last Best Ride in 2022 was the start of my New Life of full time Bikepacking (25 months now) around North America. I’ve been back both in 2023 & 2024, because TLBR is the Best Gravel event out there! Maybe you can make it out for 2025.
Hi Ryan, Great videos and worth the wait. Can you share a link to or name of the yurt you stayed in? Assuming it's available for booking and not a private accommodation.
You met lots of interesting and great people. Maybe someday I will go on a tour as well but complicated relocation situation isn't helping at all. Did you figure out saddle issues btw?
I'll never forget this special day and all the wonderful people who came out to say hello.
I so envy you 😊

Thank you for the kind words, I truly appreciate it.
These people are just a sliver of the impact you are making. Each video I know inspires people one bike rider at a time.
Awww, thanks. I sure hope so
OMG, you just bring so much joy and happiness to peoples lives. Super proud of you. A great human.
They lifted me up on this day!
Putting yourself out there sure has helped bring the world a little more happiness. I know that you didn't reach your race goal - but you sure met your life goal!
I was humbled by all the love on this day. Life Goal definitely achieved!
Wow, so many great people came out along the route to support you - what a wonderful community!
The best!
Thanks!
Oh wow!!! Thank you so much for your generosity!!!
@ I was hit by a city bus that drove into the bike lane last Saturday. Doing okay, I think I will feel safer on trails now once I heal up.

Way to go on the STP! I wanna do that someday
Another amazing adventure and the love that everyone has for you is a testament to who YOU are. ❤

Very sweet story about the guy's mom watching you, John and Mira.
Montana is Duzer Country. Now I know why I like this channel and Ryan's antics.. I was born in Kalispell Montana. I'm one of them.
In a very short time I have become a Ryan groupie 😅😅😅! I just love your love of biking and your attitude is completely awesome🎉🎉🎉
Incredible support must feel good❤
What a great day! Beautiful scenery, great people, and pizza.
Pizza!!!
What a day!! One for the books for sure so much love out there for you. Fuelled by homemade cookies and love!❤
Such a great video, I really appreciate you sharing hard moments. Not everything is easy, but you stay positive and funny. Thanks

The Iohan sticker was so cool to see, too! Just above Mira’s sticker. May he rest in adventure. I miss his videos, a lot of them have been taken down.
You went from such a low to such a high in this episode Ryan, you can see how much you inspire people😊That was an amazing effort buddy👍
I sure did, and it felt incredible
The kindness of your followers speaks volumes to your character and channel Ryan! Keep on doing your thing and being yourself!

Montana is the most gorgeous place on the earth
It’s a spectacular place!
Loved the soccer pitch footage. It looked like most places in Jamaica with that mountainous background ❤
Man I love your videos SO SO MUCH!! Truly inspire me to get out on my bike even for a 5 mile ride. I will work my way up to bigger things! My first goal is to ride my bike all the way from Lakewood to Red Rocks!
That sounds like an awesome little adventure. And red rocks is a great place to finish
Having hiked in snow, It does help to bring some attachable handwarmers that can slide inside gloves. I think there are rechargeable warming handles as well but can't speak how well they work. Hope saddle problems are figured out. You meet a lot of interesting people along the way.
I was lucky enough to visit Montana in 2021. Fingers crossed I will be riding the TD in 2026. Cannot wait to get back over there from the UK.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
These are great!
Ryan you should use handlebar mitts they work great for cold weather.

I’d really love to experience it someday
I think you have a twin brother, seriously. He’s a good and long time friend and everything about you is identical.
Let's go Ryan
You know what this video needs? More cowbell!
Great video. Great people.
Hi Ryan, Great videos and worth the wait. Can you share a link to or name of the yurt you stayed in? Assuming it's available for booking and not a private accommodation.
Welsh flag on the road sign. Cymru am byth 💪
Now that's a job description. Chicken farmer & software engineer!
Was there someone on the hill at 3:30? 😮
You met lots of interesting and great people. Maybe someday I will go on a tour as well but complicated relocation situation isn't helping at all.
Did you figure out saddle issues btw?
I use hospital gloves under my gloves on my motorcycle and bicycle. Works real well, have a great one next time. SJ
5:46 Rest In Peace Iohan Gueorguiev. Thanks John and Mira, Omni Tierra_Dogpacking for placing the lohan sticker.
Watching this it occurs to me, if I may, one problem is you don't have any fat on you. When times are tough, the skinny ones go first. 😂😂
Kabayan, I kwew it. Hehe
DUZER.. when are you posting your RAGBRAI vids?
I'm Tom on the trike with chickens
You have more people love you who have never met you than I do in my life with all the people I actually know.
I wonder what that means?
What would be your 'real job' be Ryan?
Bicycle mechanic, sales and or shop owner?
❤
Someone sponsor me 🙌🏾 🚲
You okay, bro?
Yikes! 16.6 kph! And that's a "bad day"?
No way was this a loss, dude.
Took me awhile to realize it, but it’s true. Lots of important lessons learned
Ryan looks Great for his Age amazing! What is the secret.
Great for his age… he he.
