Bangladesh is India's closest ally even politically. It is mostly a racism thing in India where non Bengalis tend to hate Bangladesh because of partition and their Muslim majority. Both are Bengalee and speak same language follow same culture but because of religion East Bengal became part of Pakistan and West Bengal became part of India.
