Great video. A 5 sec wait for the lift gate to auto-open is a long time (relatively speaking). I’m assuming the key fob has a standard truck release button, correct?
The GV80 Prestige? It's more money and a bit smaller inside, but the luxury is next level. Im not saying the Palisade isn't, but the Genesis is amazing
That is completely up to the taste of the owner. If it was me however, I would choose the matte white or matte gray exterior with either the Dune or Black interior.
Miguel: I have just taken delivery of a new Genesis GV-80 equipped with their" Noise Cancellation" option.Notwithstanding, this is a very noisy car. Are you able to tell me what the decibel level reading SHOULD be at,say, 40mph and also 60mph. Thanks
The fact that there is only one fan speed for front and back is jarring. People in back change fan speed and it jumps the controls in the front. Same with the lack of wireless android auto or car play.
So the video shows the V6 versions of the GV80. Basically everything I showed prior to the Prestige package was the Advanced package because the Advanced package serves as the basis that the Prestige is built on top of.

I believe some if not all V6 versions are over the 6,000lbs of gross vehicle weight. To be sure open the drivers door and read the plaque that talks about gross vehicle weights so you can confirm.
You didn't say anything about the advanced features/chipset issue. The 2022.5 cars were decontented because of chip shortages. Has that been rectified on the 2023s? Or are they still missing some of the features of the 2021/early-2022s?
Good question. So in 2022, Genesis did have chip issues but the only thing it deleted was the Highway Drive Assist II technologies. Although it still does have the first generation of Highway Drive Assist. Aside from that, all the other features are still intact.
I have a deposit on a Cardiff Green GV80 Prestige. I am eagerly awaiting delivery.

The 2023 Prestige comes with either 20-inch wheels or 22-inch wheels. The difference is $1250 if im remembering correctly.

The matte paint need special care. Not all Genesis paint.
On the ultra luxury GV 80 do have to special order so you don't get the matte paint?
