Got to thank you very much for allowing everyone to watch your videos Les. When ever I am teaching someone I so very often point to one of them. After all these long years your still at the top of class. It is hard to snap others out of the romance of survival and bushcraft, to make them understand the harsh reality of it. Having an expert of your caliber showing it in real time helps bring the validity of the dangers and difficulties to life. Thank you very much for all your hard work and sacrifices you indured.
If everyone pitched/donated/paid $1 to $5 per month/quarterly or annually it would not break the bank and it would encourage him furthermore to keep em amazing videos coming. I think he earned with all of us.
This one looked really tough. I love watching these when I'm feeling poorly because I know Les is taking these challenges on voluntarily, and that gives more strength to face whatever I'm dealing with too.
So true. I've been bed ridden with a broken hip & he's improved my mood so much. Noticed he's got a great singing voice & as a musician myself I'd employ him as a vocalist.
Cool les liked my comment keep rocking my dude my grandfather turned me on to your show when I was 15 and now I'm 34. Never have Ive gotten more useful information for wilderness survival and be entertaining too!. If ya made a new season id definitely watch.
LMAO @ that. What a nasty group of (friends) he has on his arm. That'd be a deal breaker for me. BTW @35:10 is that a harmonica in your pocket or are you glad to see me
Your the reason I'm able to live in my car in Minnesota. I got kicked out. Had no place to sleep. Got my sleeping bag and slept in my car for a winter. This dude is no joke
On one hand, the amazon is full of water, edible plants, fruits, fish, animals. On the other it is absolute hell on earth with the unfathomable number of insects, heat, constant raining and dangerous predators. It is incredible that the natives figured out how to live and thrive in such an environment.
It's GREAT to see that you're finally dealing with these technical issues. I don't know why, but the extra scenes that are only present in the director's cut weren't stretched back to 16:9 and upsized from 480p to 1080p. I believe that was due to a problem when transferring the footage from the DVD. Now the image is upsized to fill a 1080p frame, which is very good because the image isn't very small on the screen, and also because this greatly reduced compression, but the 3:2 aspect ratio of the 720x480 frame of DVD video wasn't stretched to 16:9. This means the image in these scenes is “squeezed from the sides”, and strips of the top and bottom are not visible.
Man i admit i would be scared af to be alone in the wild like that day and night for a week. Not so much because of predators, the psichological factor of being alone would drive me crazy. Much respect to Les for having the cojones to do this.
I remember watching this one on TV and I thought to myself the first time I watched it that if the jaguar has you for a meal I guess this would have been the first time actual found footage was shown on TV.
I've always loved this show as a kid just learning stuff to a teenage film student to an adult that likes something to do while video editing it's like the best sort comfortable rhythm of a story and kinda every frame a painting I've always wondered about like how sometimes they leave him with breakdown resources like a balloon basket or a standard emergency kit Id love a video of dude breaking down how to "survive.. when stranded on a remote tropical island in winter With nothing But a tuba, a clarinet, and an accordion CUE THE MUSIC!
For realsies though hey les if you're there how would you use unconventional objects for survival? It'd be neat if you did an unconventional survival breakdown, sorta like a talk through Some of us wake up in a denim jacket with random stuff in our pockets and we're in the wrong city. 4 dollars, half a pack of cigarettes, a good sense of humor and a 200 pack of multicolored sticky notes
i'm suprised u ate those shrimps, don't they contain parrasites? amazing show btw, i've watched every episode of the normal tv show. now gotta start on ur ancillary stuff :P
I don’t get how bugs fly that close to you. I did read they have no sense of fear . But then why did my parents always says “bugs are more scared of you , then you’re of them “ I was lieeed to man
Hi Les . Something i was gonna ask you for the longest time . About a trip you had and if your team ever had use any surveillance equipment for safety reasons ? If not i could tell you something .
There were not mosquitoes where he was surprisingly, which he stated, and the bugs that were on him didn’t bite, so it didn’t bother him much. Which he also stated.
I think your shows are great but I much rather see you stay in America/Canada, I just cannot relate to countries I'll never go to and that absolutely don't interest me.
So because you don't travel and have no interest in anything someone should cater to your desires? Hopefully you can realize how dumb that sounds someday
How do they expect him to fit in that canoe 🛶 with such giant balls ? Just getting dropped off in the Amazon for a week like it’s no big deal. Holy duckshlt Batman !
Thanks for making these full episodes free Les
As someone born in 90 who grew up as a teen watching les a big thanks from me too

The twist, jaguar didn't show up for food, but to hear those sweet tunes on the harmonica
Little known fact: big cats are big fans of blues.
😂😂😂
@@ianwebb8066 I’m still laughing at this comment 😭😭😭😂😂😂
The goat of survival shows. The rest are ridiculous.😂
Thanks for putting all these videos here for us to watch im a long time fan.
Cool les liked my comment keep rocking my dude my grandfather turned me on to your show when I was 15 and now I'm 34. Never have Ive gotten more useful information for wilderness survival and be entertaining too!. If ya made a new season id definitely watch.
I could hear him fine. All those bugs were intense! Great video Les!
I’m 26 I grew up watching you as did every friend and classmate I had, southern Ontario loves you Les you are a legend and inspiration
Not sure what “glitches” are getting fixed but the video looks great to me! Thank you Mr. Stroud for your wonderful work!
It was formatting issues from not upscaling the old 480x240 tv format to the standard 1080x720 widescreen format.
"These are my friends...". 🤣
NGL, I'd be dying without a can of OFF! or some kind of flammable aerosol & lighter.
LMAO @ that. What a nasty group of (friends) he has on his arm. That'd be a deal breaker for me. BTW @35:10 is that a harmonica in your pocket or are you glad to see me
Always loved thsi episode. Good to watch it again! Thanks Les!
Les I also wanted to mention your director commentary videos are awesome it’s fun to watch the video with you
Les you’re so giving letting us watch these for free. Thank you 😊
Its been awhile since I watched one of your adventures. Entertaining as always. Thanks Les
Your the reason I'm able to live in my car in Minnesota. I got kicked out. Had no place to sleep. Got my sleeping bag and slept in my car for a winter. This dude is no joke
So many bugs! Les, how do you deal with the bugs?
Thank you for whatever you're doing to make these videos appear in my feed again!
The amount of insects is absolutely insane, he’s covered in insects the ENTIRE time 😱
On one hand, the amazon is full of water, edible plants, fruits, fish, animals. On the other it is absolute hell on earth with the unfathomable number of insects, heat, constant raining and dangerous predators.

Thank you Les, you're such a wonderful, generous human being

Really looking forward to the director's commentary for this one.
It's already up - check the playlist for the commentaries
Hell yeah… nostalgia trip
All of the insects makes this seem like hell on earth.
Just the bugs on his shirt are enough to make my skin crawl and my legs run.
Literally sleepless nights every night
Yeah look at 13:26 ! yikes 😬
Thank you guys for responding to my comment so I can come back here and re-witness this nightmare.
Man i admit i would be scared af to be alone in the wild like that day and night for a week.

I've never seen so many flies. Amazing that the tribal medicine cleared up the foot fungus. What did they do?

When Les uses his camera as a flashlight in the night, you know he ain't playin'.
I’d rather watch old Survivorman episodes than this new crap that is currently being shit out.
My respects to Les Stroud
I legit thought you were gonna try surviving an Amazon warehouse when I clicked this
Better be thanking that bladder, imagine having fallen asleep with prowling jaguar right outside your shelter, especially with no real fire going.
Good show
I don't remember any glitches last time? either way good to re watch :)
i'm suprised u ate those shrimps, don't they contain parrasites? amazing show btw, i've watched every episode of the normal tv show. now gotta start on ur ancillary stuff :P

Ur a legend for this
Who mixed this? The background music is drowning out Les's narration. What the!?!?
You guys need a new TV with proper sound.
5.1 or 7.1 surround sound with proper center channel.
Carl Johnson mixed it.
I have a 7.1 surround system and even so the background music too much over the voice
@@brichusi Jesus say proper again, it might make you sound more sophisticated.
Get a better Center channel.
Too bad you couldn't eat all those bugs on your shirt. You'd have killed 2 birds with one stone. The bugs alone would disqualify me. Les is the man.
I feel like the mosquitos would immediately kill me, absolutely wild how covered in bugs you were. how do you deal with that out of curiosity?
There were not mosquitoes where he was surprisingly, which he stated, and the bugs that were on him didn’t bite, so it didn’t bother him much. Which he also stated.
Thanks Les! ✌️
What are your thoughts on 'Naked and Afraid"?
Huge Les fan....but he doesn't respond to comments.....haha
Did the foot fungus cure work? If so, what is it!
Pee on em and let em dry
Burger King lettuce
are there any newly recorded episode or is les not doing this type of thing anymore and just uploading old footage?
Hey les I’ve been there for two weeks in the jungle on a mission trip and the equdor jungle ant no joke
You rock, Les! Im from Alaska... (Canada's sister LOL!). You can keep the jungle! 😮 No thanks! 9:17
nice
technical glitches sounds so vague :P like yeee i u know did the things and stuff and its fixed now :P
Bang the like once again for LES!!!
Heck yeah!
Old glitches fixed...new ones arise.
is this the one where the dialogue audio was in the background?
Pity the music was much too loud killing what you were saying or much of it at times
I think he discussed this on a commentary video that he didn’t agree with the sound editor
👆
Still watching it for free
!!! 🤣🤣🤣
@@16-BITFPV !!! 🤣🤣🤣
Not sure how you deal with all those bugs dude.
Why did they raid the others? 41 minutes in ish
I know its a show to demonstrate survival skills. But always bring a firearm with you. You could of had jaguar meat for dinner.....
How do you do that in a foreign country and doing a solo show.
Oooh hell no!!! You are amazing! I don’t care what kind of shape I was in, I wouldn’t do it!
Still spent 400 dollars. Instructions unclear. Please help!
Why is the music so loud???
!!! 🤣🤣
Those flys are narly
there are dangerous un contacted tribes in the area so let me play my harmonica tonight so they can find me 🥴
The music does drown out the narration in a lot of places. I'm listening to this on studio monitors.
Epic adventure.
Oh this is the episode where you eat a snake. cool man!
Please 🙏 distinguish properly between poisonous and venomous !
P.s.
More Bigfoot series 😜
