hey rudy, thank you so much for your videos. youve reminded me why i love magic, the past few days ive seen box openings of some of my favorite sets getting into magic. gatecrash was my first pre-release, i remember picking gruul and getting the intro letter that was just cave paintings of a cyclopes eating people and smashing stuff.

I have that same playmat. It's from TJ's Collectibles. It's an LGS in my area. Great folks. Tom the owner is my go to guy for prerelease. It's cool to see the playmat featured with Rudy.

RTR box is the kind of RTR packs I'd find at Meijers. Always horrible pulls from anything I had ever bought there.
The age of New Phyrexia, Innistrad, and Return to Ravnica was my favorite era of Magic. I wish I could open a bunch of boosters from that era again. 🤘

Return to Ravnica was a great time in mtg. Really enjoyed the pre-release. Pulled a Giant Goliath and had some fun with that :)

Sphinx’s Revelation was the biggest spec hit I ever had during my days playing online. On the flip side, my long dormant MTGO account still has a dozen deathrite shamans - the lesson there is if you identify a card is really good, buy in, but if it’s too good, beware cuz it’s just gonna get banned.
That Ogre Slumlord may be nothing to the patron, but that card solely won me an EDH game that my LGS rewarded an MH pack for and I pulled a Force of Will from. Card is clearly worth $40 ;)

I had about 600 dollars in store credit on card kingdom from a buylist months ago (when I could send it 27 M25 counterspells And get 1.30 a piece among other gems lol) and purchased an allegience, RtR and guilds box among other things. The three boxes combined for 3 shocklands rofl, zero in the RtR AND guilds box. That was rough.

Rudy, how common is it to find a pack of Onslaught in one of those 3 pack with promo blisters? I got one from a local pharmacy and pulled a fetchland from the pack,,,the other packs were WAR and RNA. Promo was Lathliss
