It is good to remember those who have gone before us. We might yet need to save Christianity in Europe once again the way things are going. It's certainly a beautiful place. I loved that bridge. Thanks for sharing. I've loved this one. Take care x
your right about that Chris, it does make me very emotional appreciating how many times Christianity was almost wiped off the planet in the past. the story of Pelayo and the battle of Covadonga is a real fascinating one for me as there seems to be historic accounts from both sides of the battle. with the Muslims noting that they saw a bright light appear up in the mountains at the same time the Christians recorded the Virgin Mary’s appearance. whatever one’s thoughts on religion are to know that our upbringing might have been so different if events hadn’t played out differently at this time is utterly unthinkable to me. I have been reading up on hikes and trails that follow Pelayo’s reconquest of Spain and chart his movements chasing away Moors. these are all hikes and trails I will be revisiting this area again to experience for myself!
Loving that bridge at Cangas de Onís. The church was pretty amazing too. I'm not religious but you can imagine how impressive churches and cathedrals were to ordinary folks living in tiny, humble dwellings. One thing the Moors and the subsequent Reconquista gave rise to was The Spanish Inquisition - nobody expected that!
Hehe loved the jest about what hat to wear 😄This was so beautiful but sooo intetesting. Very cute cows in the road and the architecture was gorgeous as you drove. The Basilica was beautiful, like out of a fairytale inside and out and Covadonga has such a great history with the saving of Christianity. Where would we be without our faith.... That waterfall near the Virgin Mary's cave was spectacular. Nice Nick that you came to say a prayer for your dad in there. It must have been so good to see the spot where Mary appeared. The Roman Bridge was amazing to see. That was a fabulous place with a fabulous story, we have a lot to thank Pelayo for 🙏✝️ ~ Anna 👍
Wow! Beautiful and awesome scenery place to explore! The scenery on a rainy day is a beautiful landscape like an ink-wash painting! I'm so glad to see this beautiful landscape in Northern Spain through your video! Nice sharing, my dear friend! Hello! Greetings again from 100tour KOREA! Stay in touch, my dear friend! See you again! Have a wonderful day!
What a beautiful and meaningful Holy site, Nick and Jill. I don't know if I would chose a black hat to visit Mary, but I'm sure she would love us no matter how we show up! Alzheimer's takes so much for so many. But, I truly believe when we meet her we will again remember! I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. I had to stop the video for a bit and take a short walk, before Kathy wakes up to reflect. Sadly, it just never stops progressing. I did come back and finish to see more of the beauty and the spillage of wine. Not to worry. Mary's son can make more!
Hi Dave this is such a lovely comment Thank you! It is such a terrible disease that affects a lot of us in some way or another! We send you and Kathy so much love across the pond ❤️
Again loved this .. Hat Dilemma… At least you changed your shorts ! Cowbells and misty mountains..how lovely …. A beautiful pilgrimage site… And the spring is spectacular. What a spot to honour and remember lost loved ones… the Basilica has the majestic splendour to match the story behind it. That shadow .. Wow …now to Cangas de Onis…. How old is the bridge …..It’s stunning…Cidre to finish with … Apres Mop…loved the pics at the end… Another fab adventure… Thx Guys
Fashion dilemmas always a problem for Nicholas 🤣 but strangely enough easily rectified! thanks for another great comment guys hope you are having a great weekend 👍❤️
Oh Nick I just love your wardrobe 🤣🤣🤣!That was cool- the cows and their bells. OOOOOH gorgeous 🩷. That Basilica on the hill. I so get that emotion Nick. Lovely way to remember your dad Nick 🕯! I usually buy a few of those while at cathedrals or churches and light them when needed at home by my Maria statue 🙏. The crypt- wow. This is my sort of visit and voyage of discovery. Love the swirl. Gorgeous grounds. And then the Cangas de Onis visit. Awesome. What a stunning Roman Bridge- Alice @AliceGoss would love that I'm sure. Love the closing 'uncorking' and pouring ceremony. Jill you are a champion pourer. Awesome video. Love love love it (3x) 🤣! You guys are amazing. 🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Hello Nick and Jill 👋. Another lovely 🥰 journey ❤️. The scenery all the way are stunning and gorgeous. It’s a nice feelings going back the place where we considered as home 🏠. Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing again. Have a great day 👍❤️🇩🇪.
Nick, this is a very special and very personal video. I remember exchanging messages with you around this time... as my dad's 100th birthday was 18 June. I'm glad you could remember and honour your father in this beautiful and spiritual place. I'm sure your dad was smiling down on you. ❤
ah thank you Dara 🙏, yes we were in full conversation on these days! lovely memories and the place to remember our loved ones. a pause on our holiday viog next week as we take to the skies, thanks to Ian’s wonderful advice and encouragement. nods and thanks to Ian in the video! 👍
Hello both, lovely views up the mountains, nice walk into the cave, great water falls, amazing, Always nice to light a candle for our past loved ones. The Basilica was a beautiful building. Hope you enjoyed the Cidra, Ooops Nick a spillage, Jill managed no problem. thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
Hi Nick and Jill wow you two are like sommeliers! Salud! It seems refreshing.. Religion, History, architecture, and much more... Brilliant! I enjoy learning how Christianity shaped up this country. thank you Ms Kayak 🙏 it really does seem lost in time as if trends in the world could never affect or change the style and popularity of this place. its a place we very much hope to retire to some day but under current EU legislation we can’t occupy for more than 90 days of any 180. hopefully that will change or we will be able to muster the means to overcome that. hope you guys are having an amazing week!
Braver than me driving abroad, especially on those roads too but shock...... rain in somewhere other than the North of England. Lovely walk to where the Virgin Mary appeared and nice that you were remembering your dad. OMG thank the Lord for Pelayo!!! Free loos and still, great views, despite the weather and what a place the Basilica was, very humbling indeed, real nice you manged to get some footage inside, as well as the Cripta too. A very graceful twirl over that wooden bridge but what an amazing Roman bridge that was and mind blowing Romanesque twirl to win the day! I always pour a cider like that at home (not as high as that mind) and great old photos, cheers Alan
Thank you Alan, Covadonga very meaningful for us. Very close to where we always planned to and still want to retire. Silly mistake but we have always spent the day with my mum on my Dads birthday so when I realised that wasn’t going to be a thing with a booking snafu, this day was set in stone. Such an amazing place, it’s hard to argue with the actual facts about Christians overturning Muslims, I’ve visited here so many times and the place makes me more emotional on each visit. Since visiting this time I have been reading up on hiking trails all based on Pelayo chasing off the Moors out of Spain. I get giddy reading about those tales, this is something very high on my list. What an incredible time in history and how amazing was the faith back then to lead to such overwhelming victories?
Hello there! Wow I didnt know that spain has such great places... looks pretty amazing there! The clouds in the Mountains and the buildings 🤩 Greetings from germany 🤠👋
I am just loving this trip! How beautiful. The landscape and scenery are stunning. It was so nice that you lit a candle for your dad. The inside of the basilica was amazingly beautiful. There are so many great stops on this episode 😊
Hi Nick and Jill, the hat made us smile. Think you made the right choice. Another spectacular place. Looked wonderful even in the bad weather.. There was certainly plenty of holy water plenty to go around. Nice touch to be able to light a candle for your dad Nick. Dave has a small whisky on the anniversary of his dad's passing. That really is a fantastic bridge those Romans were amazing perhaps they liked a twirl too who knows? Another great adventure love the orange shorts by the way. Hope you have a great weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Nice looking Air B n B good choice of hats 😂 Nice scenic drive oops diversion mind the cows . Cool graffiti tunnel you drove through. Beautiful area to explore cool waterfalls & cave . Lots of steps Nice of you to say a prayer light a candle for dad RIP 🙏 Nice statue and buildings. Awesome looking interior, good sneaky filming . Good bridge twirl . Shame about the mist and rain. The other town looked nice cool old roman Bridge, Good 360 view. Hope you enjoyed the cidra cheers good pouring 🫗 😂😂 Jill was the master 👍 Good video Thanks for sharing with us Generation Xplorers Generation Xperiences 👍
We watched this last night in out cabin. It's a stunning place. Cows in the road is common place! The villages are just beautiful and the constant scenery - wow lush. Shame the weather didn't play ball. Wills would have loved to have recorded those bells though. Amazing cave and cool legend! Lovely tribute to your dad Nick. Excellent Romanesque bridge and well twirled! Your pic of the bridge was beautiful. Day finished with a bit of fizz! I would say well poured but 😂. Cheers both 🍻
Haha, fun intro! 😂Your accommodation looked fabulous. It was very moving seeing Nick light a candle on what would have been his dad's 92nd birthday. It looked like a very special place. The whole area looked exceptional with wonderful views and stunning scenery. A very enjoyable vlog. Have a great weekend! ❤❤
Fantastic video. Such a beautiful location. ❤ Definitely worth all the delays to get there. The roman bridge is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this amazing location ❤😊.
Where do I begin 😮 at the end 🍾 or the beginning 🪣hat which one 🤔I thought I knew all the Virgin Mary places but I didn’t know of this one 😮 I’m shocked! Nice tradition to light a 🕯️ &🙏🏻 for your Dad. May he RIP ❤ I really think you should be singing in the mountains in Switzerland though🌟 The hills are alive 😂 can’t resist 😂 you make my day, or should I say night! Loved watching it all! From beginning to end ❤
This was a cracker Nick and Jill. Loved each segment. I really enjoyed seeing the Basicilla, that was very special but the chapel set into the mountain range was just outstanding. How amazing are the views. It was so interesting to see you visit the caves underneath. What a history! Covadonga is most definitely a 'hidden gem' what an interesting and scenic place. One for the map I think! My favourite was seeing around Cangas De Onis and the famous bridge. The flag and it's significance is just wonderful. Loving the coloured Spanish buildings throughout, you guys are really making me want to visit! This is a lovely tribute to your Dad aswell Nick, lovely and important. Thank you both for the most wonderful video, I cant wait to see more and your journey around the lakes? Loving the special twirls!! Thank you both
I love the windy drive along the mountain! Fantastic view definitely!!! Oh I think I heard about this place. It looks wonderful, what a nice experience to see it in person! Peaceful! It must be an amazing feeling to be there the scenery everywhere you go is stunning. 👍😊🇨🇦
Your accommodation is a proper gem, I would just spend hours on the terrace. Cool (or not lol) that you got stuck behind cows. The drive to your destination was just beautiful, even on this misty day. The basilica is truly stunning. Nice that you chose a special day to remember someone special at the basilica. What a wonderful place to visit. Plus a bonus GenX bit of bridge dancing. Pleased your day got drier in Cangas de Onis. It looks like a really pretty town. Have a great Saturday 💜
Brilliant this Nick definitely is like a fairytale 👌🏻 The history is immense here the Spain we know started ! Brilliant vlog guys definitely touching to see 🙏🏼 Best regards To Jill 👍 Simon
proper hat is on, time to spend some quality time with marvin. quality it is with all those pretty views. if it's warm, i love a nice rainy walk. yay for petrichor! i really liked the cave under the waterfalls, too. i'm not religious, so that connection doesn't speak to me, but what a place to honor dad's bday anniversary. i would have patted the cow too. 🤭special twirl indeed, so romanesque! hope you two are having a wonderful weekend 🛴❤
Hi Anne oh you remembered Marvin’s name most impressive 😉 we too like the rain if it’s warm and you can use waterproof equipment x you don’t have to be religious to enjoy this magical place! weekend is ok so far, weather not great but making the most of it 👍❤️
Another great accommodation. The nature is really spectacular with those rocky mountains and lots of water. The weather is not perfect but I am sure you enjoyed 👍🥰
I hadn't heard of Cavadonga before, I find the sites where there have been Apparitions of Mary really interesting. Years ago I went with my aunt to the newest site, in Medugorje in Bosnia and Hezegovina, I found it all fascinating, especially talking to some people who seem to be professional pilgrimage goers, I didn't know there were so many places (quite a few in Latin America) that pilgrims went to. (Not to mention all the ancient sites as well) My total of pilgrim sites visited is still one!
Well, I've never gone to Spain. But I kind of like the music 🎶 (It's an ancient song reference!) The hat on the right was definitely the way to go 👏And that was a DREW level pour right there 😁 Love y'all, the dynamic adventure duo we envy so much ♥
Asturias is gorgeous. The whole region from what you have been showing in the last couple of videos has been a revelation and not what I expected. They do that high pour thing in the Basque country with a drink called txakoli. That was my poison of choice when we were there. You're really stoking the fire for a return to Spain for us. Sorry to hear about your Dad Nick. My dad is going through vascular dementia right now. He'll be 86 in a few weeks.
Hi Shane sorry to hear about your dad it’s a terrible disease for sure! we can’t wait to go back to Spain but think we might have to slip in Lake Garda first! Thanks for your great comment! have a great weekend ❤️
@@GENerationXplorers ooh, lake garda is cool. It has a special place in our heart because it is where we had our first real rich thick Italian hot chocolate. All hot chocolates since have been judge by that one. 🍫☕😋
Thanks for another great video from Spain. Very beautiful places and buildings. And I do love water falls. Not sure I would use that method to fill my glass! 😂😂😂😂 Myself isn't Christian, but I am still intrested to see their buildingd, places and learn the story behind all. Have a great weekend Jill and Nick 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
Love the nostalgia vibe in this one guys it really shows how much you cherish these trips.and there is one thing for certain you will always find a bridge to twirl on lol. as i said before the production level has gone up to a new level but you are still managining to keep your idenity and fun that we have all become to love .well done guys on another fantastic vlogx
Hmmm, I think the first hat was a better choice? 🤣. Lovely video as ever, Nick and Jill. I can't believe the weather you had, although it looks like a brilliant time of year to visit as you said last week with the walk being so busy in August, I imagine the Basilica is also heaving in the summer months. It seemed like such a special place and I'm not at all surprised you want to go back to visit again. The place you are staying is also incredible (I don't think I have commented on that yet). What a view to wake up to! Good work on the driving, Jill, how do you find the roads with all those mountain paths? Have a lovely weekend, both x
Hi Emily I love driving and the challenges some places present we have done some very scary roads so kinda getting use to them 🤣 looking forward to revisiting Northern Spain in September! hope you are having a lovely weekend 😘❤️
Hi Nick and Jill Hope you are well. Definitely the right choice of hat Nick. We are really enjoying your Spanish adventures ❤ The air bnb looks amazing You're right Nick it does look like something from a Disney movie The Church bells ringing as you visited the cave and where the virgin Mary appeared was very moving. Think that was lovely place to say a prayer for your dad Nick ❤ Fabulous statue. The shadow of Jesus in the church amazing We love visiting places like this , you're right they are special Free toilets, great The roman bridge was very impressive and your twirl Jill was perfect 😊 What a place to sit and have a drink. It made us laugh you pouring the drink outside Nick. Jill we have to say you were better inside. Loved the bonus footage at the end Hope you're having a good weekend 😊
Aaaww hi guys we are well hope you guys are too! Thanks for another fabulous comment! a little break this week from the Spanish holiday instead it is our first use of the drone 😬🫣 have a great week ❤️
The Hollyland Lark M2 mics are real game changers. It’s hard having to be still editing old standard Media Mod audio videos when we have now been recording for a few weeks with the Hollyland. The video out this Friday bumps some of the older stuff so you’ll hear how different it sounds! 👍 the drone less so much, it got attacked by a seagull yesterday who clearly wasn’t a fan of the channel! 😱 hope your having a great week.
@GENerationXplorers thanks for getting back to us guys. We are thinking of getting some mics before our Scotland road trip and were looking at some DJI ones but will have a look at these. We are looking at something that's easy to use 🤣🤣🤣 and don't really want big mics clipped on us. Awww poor drone 🤣 will look forward to watching your drone footage. Have you named your drone? Enjoy the sunshine 🌞
@morgsjoboo2247 the Hollyland Lark M2s are amazing. Really tiny, come with a great charging carry case and have a battery life of about 80 hours 😱 I find it really hard listening to our old videos now. Look forward to you your Scottish road trip 👍
I felt quite emotional watching this as you obviously let us into a very private, special moment and shared your faith with us. So sad about your dad and Alzheimer's, such an awful thing that took my mum too, 3 years ago but still very fresh in my memory. What beautiful place though with all the amazing waterfalls. Shame about the rain, but you appeared not to even notice apart from perhaps the trip to the lakes, which btw looked fantastic from a previous trip. Great to revisit old favourite places especially if they retain their original charm. Loved the bridge at the end, & Jilly, wow looks like you've been going to ballet classes with those perfect, classy twirls ... did I see one from Nick too haha ? Lots of fun with the cider & lots of mopping up to do before you've even tasted it 😆😆 Ohhh loved all the bells 😍🤗🤗xx
thank you Christine 🙏 yes Alzheimer’s is a very tragic way to lose a family member, so sorry to hear about your Mum, it’s so unfortunate that it affects so very many. we do love Covadonga and it was certainly a very emotional day to mark my Dads birthday. the story about Pelayo starting the Reconquista from that very spot is incredibly moving, to think that Christianity was almost wiped out of existence prior to that is unimaginable. Jill did a great job with her twirl, especially on those cobbles, I did manage a very slow twirl whilst holding the camera but I was quite shaken and just moments earlier I had slipped and performed my own acrobatics under the bridge! xx
Last week it was a difficult choice of shirt, this week hat! Lucky Jill is there to make the tough decisions! RIP to your Dad Nick 🙏 fitting place to remember him! Beautiful place, the bridge is especially cool. Best bridge for a twirl? Must be a contender. I think you should mix it up one week and give it a bridge twerk. That'll get everyone subscribing! Hahaha Nick cracking effort in the wind pouring the sidra 😂
I was going to do shorts in the following week but thankfully common decency prevailed! 😅 thanks Matt, shame the sun wasn’t shining on Covadonga that day, it was literally the only place in Northern Spain with fog and rain but felt it was the right time to pay tribute to my Dad. A bridge twerk, right that’s going on the list! Massive fail on the cidre pouring and a big mopping up job post video!
Go Player. He da man. Aseos the place to pee and not get some new shoes. Looks a pretty cool place to visit but pity no filming inside was allowed. Super old Roman bridge. They sure made things to last as well as look pleasing on the eye. I usually have sangria when I'm in Spain tho it tends to go down like pop. Also sounds like the roads are as bad as ours with road works etc. That's making the best of ropey weather 👍
Paul 🙏 Don Simon red wine for us. works out at less than £1 for 70CL. filthy knockout juice, sangria will do the trick too! hard to fault the Spanish prices. the roads that are finished quite possibly put the world to shame, freeways with no hold ups. sadly where we were staying in Potes had some major renovations ongoing to a very tricky mountain pass. what used to be, on our last visit, a sketchy mountain pass with barely enough room for one car to traverse was being turned into a full on dual carriageway carved into the mountains. the sections they have finished are just mesmerising feats of engineering but the long sections they were working on still? massive delays. will be great when it’s all finished but id say it would be a couple more years. Free Aseos, yay, today I used my English Heritage to try and get a free wee in the UK today and it was just one dirty toilet with no soap or dryer. still i saved 50p! 😱 the lengths us Brits have to go to!
You are a cracker Nicholas, which hat am i going to wear! How about a real hat, an Akubra! Lovely B&B. Amazing scenic drive. Love those Cows. I don't believe it, Nicholas, what side of the bed did you wake up on....your wearing Blue Amazing little Chapel built into the rock. The Basilica is beautiful. Imagine if we were a Muslim world. Covadonga certainly is a special place. Stunning Roman Bridge. Just as well you didn't go arse over tits on the Roman Bridge. That would have been a sight. Certainly a beautiful place to visit, thank you for taking us along Jill and Nicholas, have a great weekend.
That was great. Loved the bonus footage at the end 😁 That Cavadonga looked like it could be Latin America and in the middle of a rain forest. That Roman bridge was incredible and just amazing to have lasted nearly 2,000 years. How many modern bridges would last that long 🤷🏻♂️ Very poignant visit in relation to your dad. It’s a terrible disease and a sad way to go 😢
thanks Phil, yeah its a terrible disease, some slight consolation for us was that in my Dads case it was very aggressive, and the deterioration was over ten years. I know of many people whose family members have had the disease for decades and it really tears the heart and soul out of a family unit. Really is an impressive place to visit, i cant recommend it highly enough. the spirit of the place really comes through. when the sun is shining it’s like nowhere else on earth! in a temporary break to the holiday blogs I’m channeling my inner Phil next week and it’s getting my first drone shots. had you sat on my shoulders throughout! 👍
Northern Spain!
What a great place and I enjoyed watching ur trip!
Enjoy and have fun.
Thanks so much Aishu 👍❤️

Us too Chris 🙏

Hi Nick and Jill, the hat made us smile. Think you made the right choice. Another spectacular place. Looked wonderful even in the bad weather.. There was certainly plenty of holy water plenty to go around. Nice touch to be able to light a candle for your dad Nick. Dave has a small whisky on the anniversary of his dad's passing. That really is a fantastic bridge those Romans were amazing perhaps they liked a twirl too who knows? Another great adventure love the orange shorts by the way. Hope you have a great weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
aaaaww thanks guys the orange shorts were a few years back! giving love to dad and lost ones is cool!
Muito bonito o lugar smigo
Gracias, es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos en el planeta!
Cheers both 🍻
Cheers guys enjoy the rest of your trip 🚢❤️
Haha, fun intro! 😂Your accommodation looked fabulous. It was very moving seeing Nick light a candle on what would have been his dad's 92nd birthday. It looked like a very special place. The whole area looked exceptional with wonderful views and stunning scenery. A very enjoyable vlog. Have a great weekend! ❤❤
Aaaww thanks ladies! this was a special area 👍
Fantastic video. Such a beautiful location. ❤ Definitely worth all the delays to get there. The roman bridge is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this amazing location ❤😊.
cheers guys many thanks 👍❤️

Cheers you too x
Where do I begin 😮 at the end 🍾 or the beginning 🪣hat which one 🤔I thought I knew all the Virgin Mary places but I didn’t know of this one 😮 I’m shocked!
Nice tradition to light a 🕯️ &🙏🏻 for your Dad. May he RIP ❤
I really think you should be singing in the mountains in Switzerland though🌟 The hills are alive 😂 can’t resist 😂 you make my day, or should I say night! Loved watching it all! From beginning to end ❤
Aaww thanks Donna! Have a lovely weekend ❤️
Brilliant opening 😂😂, such s brilliant episode guys! Your content has enriched the last year so much in every possible sense. Hats off ❤️❤️
Thank you Ervin! much love ❤️
good evening nick and jill. have a wonderful weekend mates.
You too Kris ❤️😘
Thank you both
Aaaww love you Alessa! Thanks for another awesome comment! Have a wonderful weekend too x
@@GENerationXplorers 💟💟💟
The drink pouring was funny! I bet you had a lot of cider cleanup to do after that 😂
straight out with the mop and bucket Dara. I’m paranoid about ants, especially on the Continent! 😱
Haha perfect choice on hat Nick it was a hard choice that 😂 lovely location and a fab bridge twirl there Jill 😊 the bridge was so nice lovely place
🤣 re hat! It really is a special place! Thanks Yasmin have a nice weekend 💛
I love the windy drive along the mountain! Fantastic view definitely!!! Oh I think I heard about this place. It looks wonderful, what a nice experience to see it in person! Peaceful! It must be an amazing feeling to be there the scenery everywhere you go is stunning. 👍😊🇨🇦
I forget to say this was excellent!!!
Thanks Christine ❤️
Wow, another great video ❤ You're really selling Northern Spain to me. Looks absolutely fantastic 😃👍
All the best ❤
It really is Jaune 👍 cheers have a great weekend
Your accommodation is a proper gem, I would just spend hours on the terrace. Cool (or not lol) that you got stuck behind cows. The drive to your destination was just beautiful, even on this misty day. The basilica is truly stunning. Nice that you chose a special day to remember someone special at the basilica. What a wonderful place to visit. Plus a bonus GenX bit of bridge dancing. Pleased your day got drier in Cangas de Onis. It looks like a really pretty town. Have a great Saturday 💜
Thanks Nettie it is a special place on all accounts! have a great weekend ❤️
Watching here
Thank you so much hope you enjoyed it ❤️
Brilliant this Nick definitely is like a fairytale 👌🏻
The history is immense here the Spain we know started !
Brilliant vlog guys definitely touching to see 🙏🏼
Best regards To Jill
👍 Simon
Cheers Simon 👍
proper hat is on, time to spend some quality time with marvin. quality it is with all those pretty views. if it's warm, i love a nice rainy walk. yay for petrichor! i really liked the cave under the waterfalls, too. i'm not religious, so that connection doesn't speak to me, but what a place to honor dad's bday anniversary. i would have patted the cow too.
The weather is not perfect but I am sure you enjoyed 👍🥰
thanks Vedrana for a great comment much love ❤️
I hadn't heard of Cavadonga before, I find the sites where there have been Apparitions of Mary really interesting. Years ago I went with my aunt to the newest site, in Medugorje in Bosnia and Hezegovina, I found it all fascinating, especially talking to some people who seem to be professional pilgrimage goers, I didn't know there were so many places (quite a few in Latin America) that pilgrims went to. (Not to mention all the ancient sites as well) My total of pilgrim sites visited is still one!
Gosh that’s interesting! A few people in the comments have mentioned there are various sites around the world! Thank you ❤️
What a truly beautiful place, would love to visit those churches 😊. Loved the ending and hope you didn’t spill too much of the drink. Great video ❤
Thanks Live you Cara ❤️😘
Great stuff
thanks 👍
Well, I've never gone to Spain. But I kind of like the music 🎶 (It's an ancient song reference!) The hat on the right was definitely the way to go 👏And that was a DREW level pour right there 😁 Love y'all, the dynamic adventure duo we envy so much ♥
Aaww you guys 🥰 love ya’s xx
Myself isn't Christian, but I am still intrested to see their buildingd, places and learn the story behind all.
Have a great weekend Jill and Nick 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
You too Sanniz! Thank you 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Love the nostalgia vibe in this one guys it really shows how much you cherish these trips.and there is one thing for certain you will always find a bridge to twirl on lol. as i said before the production level has gone up to a new level but you are still managining to keep your idenity and fun that we have all become to love .well done guys on another fantastic vlogx
Aaww thanks Simon hope you are well ❤️
Hmmm, I think the first hat was a better choice?
Hi Nick and Jill
Hope you are well.
Definitely the right choice of hat Nick.
We are really enjoying your Spanish adventures ❤
The air bnb looks amazing
You're right Nick it does look like something from a Disney movie
The Church bells ringing as you visited the cave and where the virgin Mary appeared was very moving.
Think that was lovely place to say a prayer for your dad Nick ❤
Fabulous statue.
The shadow of Jesus in the church amazing
We love visiting places like this , you're right they are special
Free toilets, great
The roman bridge was very impressive and your twirl Jill was perfect 😊
What a place to sit and have a drink. It made us laugh you pouring the drink outside Nick. Jill we have to say you were better inside.
Loved the bonus footage at the end
Hope you're having a good weekend 😊
Aaaww hi guys we are well hope you guys are too! Thanks for another fabulous comment! a little break this week from the Spanish holiday instead it is our first use of the drone 😬🫣 have a great week ❤️
@@GENerationXplorers we will look forward to that. How are you getting on with your new mics?
Like 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻6❤Welcome good 👍🏻Very nice ❤

@@GENerationXplorers haha, after shorts it would start becoming onlyfans suitable content! Actually, the bridge twerk might be as well! 😅
Go Player.
Absolutely interesting video sharing dear friend🫠 ....Really enjoyed watching🫠
Super big like👍👍👍👍
See you again ...take care... keep in touch 💕💕
Thank you very much! ❤️
You are a cracker Nicholas, which hat am i going to wear! How about a real hat, an Akubra! Lovely B&B.
Amazing scenic drive. Love those Cows.
I don't believe it, Nicholas, what side of the bed did you wake up on....your wearing Blue
Amazing little Chapel built into the rock.
Aaww thanks for another amazing comment guys! Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend in the future 🤣 much love
That was great. Loved the bonus footage at the end 😁
That Cavadonga looked like it could be Latin America and in the middle of a rain forest.
That Roman bridge was incredible and just amazing to have lasted nearly 2,000 years. How many modern bridges would last that long 🤷🏻♂️
Very poignant visit in relation to your dad.
@@GENerationXplorers that’s brilliant. 👍😁
Can’t wait to see it 📸 🚁
