@GENerationXplorers It was great to see you summit it. I was thinking when I watched it about the summit where you got very near the top, but the last scramble was steep, and Nick went on his own. You did really well as I thought this one was worse with those drop-offs. I can't remember where it was now. I'm glad the lady was there to give you help. There is nothing worse than a bad sunburn. To say that this is just beautiful is a crime, what a natural beauty and scenes everywhere you turn. The very beginning of the trail and the peaks of the mountains promise a special adventure! Challenging but definitely rewarding journey guys!!!
Yeah we don’t usually visit in June but thought we’d give it ago and luckily it was colder than normal however this day was sunny there was a nice gentle breeze but Jill did badly burn her arm as with all the fun forgot to re apply sun cream 😬 have a great week 👍

Ok - Catching up and loved this series so far Parking with a view and a half ! What a spot. Riano looks gorgeous. Reservoir sinks village - controversial but I guess better than running out of water 💦 Spooky face in trees - Live and Let Die remake of 80s acid house party ? Toooooon!!!!! Scenery on the climb is gorgeous ! But climb is getting steep! Picachu hill looks some feat ! Has Nick attached bells to his rucksack ? Expletives coming from our mouths as we watch this - That’s a scramble - Much respect !!! Verging on rock climbing !! With false summits too. Makes 10 flights of stairs on a cruise ship look a breeze!! You made it ! Phew !!!! And safely back down too! Woodland section looks lovely . End with a beautiful old chapel - wow What an adventure! Really enjoyed this ! Thank you! We both think you deserved two fish finger sandwiches each !

Got my boots on and sunblock too. Off we go. I was hoping to see you use the height and name app! I was doing quite well walking over that reservoir. I even enjoyed the walk being monitored by those faces on the trees. But then it got TOUGH! I must have been mad to agree to come with you - BUT ohhhhh the view. It made me forget the pain. Till the next morning that is 🤣🤣🤣! That last bit going down was gorgeous. Loved the cows and their music. I'm so glad you filmed this- Now I can watch this any time I need to escape the dull and dreary days of winter. Pretty flower indeed. We love that app. Use it a lot. Lovely chapel. it certainly gets the adrenaline going. even if we could film it going back down is a nightmare. lots of cursing, climbing backwards and fighting all the time to keep your bottle! not nearly as pretty!

This is one amazing mountain! 😍😍Lovely silhouette, incredible views and interesting ascent! 👍👍Beautifully filmed too of course 😍😍. I have one small comment regarding comparison to one of the finest Scottish mountains 😜😜 - Ben Nevis may be lower than Pico Gilbo, but the ascent gain is twice as high, coz you start nearly at sea level. Actually, in that respect Ben Nevis is higher than Mount Blanc, coz you start the Mount Blanc trail at 3800m 😁😁😁😁
No one can't say you don't get exercise during your hikes. Not sure I would dare get up there. I am clumpsy and terrified of heights! Great views for sure... Looked a pretty amazing hike. They sure know how to make picturesque reservoirs in Spain. The views from up were amazing. Only ever got p!ss!d in Spain and never hiked. A bit airy in places, I'd be more concerned going down than up tho. Super weather day for it. I thought there were Brits on tour at the top with the topless blokes ha ha
Hi Paul you would love Pico de Europa (Real Spain 🤣) This really was a stunning hike! Yeah the guys at the top practically hiked most of the way with us nice kids very Spanish but insisted on singing English boy band stuff at the top not sure if it was for our benefit or not there was a group of girls with them but they didn’t want to do the final scramble so we’re sat on a ledge a little lower down! Was a smashing day weather wise although I (Jill) got quite badly burnt 🥵 Have a great week ahead, catch you soon 👍

Hi DL even with maps and even technical equipment we always seem to get lost at some point 🤣 out friend calls us ‘Tom Tom Tit’ 🤣 This was a gorgeous area and a great mountain we definitely need to return to do more of the surrounding mountains! Wow what an amazing hike and the views throughout your hike were stunning. That rock scramble looked a bit tough and it is always so much harder going down that up. Bummer that in making the reservoir they had to have a village go below the water line. We have a few submerged towns here in the states as well. I hope you guys are having a great week! 😊👍

But it is close enough to see the danger, challenges, and beauty in one place. haha where are those shirtless PPL came from..hahaha You did not throw a party at the summit, did you? hahah Congratulations to you bringing victory with you. haha what English tradition? I thought about fancy finger sandwich with cucumber, egg and such hahah. I enjoy every sec, I thank YOU Happy Weekend
Wow, now that is a mountain and that was some drive in, especially to get a free park too! The colour after the bridge was stunning and I think I would have been just as happy settling down for the day amongst all that! That goodness for rehydrating and helpful Spanish people or else that could have been one dam long walk. Unbelievable views one the way up and over the reservoir but it must have been tough in that heat and going up the side of doom, instead of the official path. Mind you, the official path did not look much better and I think you needed to be a trained contortionist to get up, around and under some of those rocks - a beast indeed! Breath-taking views from the summit and thankfully you did not pull a hamstring when you were kicking it's ass, amazing scrambling up but what go's up must come down - yikes! I think I would have gone 16 out of 10 to be fair what a view and what a 360! That must have been a relief to get back down in one piece but great to than be able to enjoy the meadows walk back to the reservoir, despite those cows, which did not look very friendly to me. Walking back over the bridge and looking back at the mountain, it looks almost impossible you were bother there a couple of hours ago. Well deserved red wine and fish finger sandwich - Dee lious us! have to say when the mountain appeared from so many miles away I was really shocked! what have we let ourselves in for? could have done with some Spanish people helping us two days later when we got completely off track for three hours which left us with a nine hour hike! 🥵 like sheep we followed two other people in front of us that made the same mistake in missing the path and sure enough a few minutes later another couple who had been following us made the same mistake. very foolish! I need to be careful with those kicked it’s behind shots, can you imagine pulling a hamstring and then not being able to complete the hike? that would be so embarrassing! honestly Alan Spanish cows are so different from English ones. I’ve lay down next to them chatting with them for hours on end and they seem so chilled. English cows you often have to stand up to! we did catch way too much sun on that day, we had our faces and elbows covered and nothing else. Jill only narrowly evaded a hospital trip from burns to her arm. just don’t really think of those parts to cover with sun cream on a nice day. that fish finger sandwich was heaven and wine at £1 a bottle tastes so much better! hope your having an amazing weekend. excited for your Wendy’s review as was dying to try it. had one in London back in the 80s that I remember liking, im guessing they have changed..

This one was really beautiful. We enjoyed the Spanish lessons we were repeating Gilbo with you. It looked quite a climb we were feeling it just watching you 😆. Some wonderful views the colour of the water was absolutely amazing. You must be the hardest working channel to bring us our entertainment. It was pretty busy at the top considering the climb you had to do to get there. Did you attract a dog at 13:49? Those cow bells sound so good. Very mighty boosh at the end there 😆. Tough, steep climb but that didn't stop the Jean Claude Van Nick flying kick 🦵 Hacienda days, blimey I bet most people from back then aren't scaling mountains higher than any in the UK (and chapels afterwards for good measure)! I know a few Matts, but we refer to our very favourite one on this video! we really needed your help on this holiday. literally nobody speaks a word of English, we really like that but at the same time we aren’t doing nearly enough to counter that! flying kick? I think my days of those ended in the latter 90s sadly, I should probably take the responsible option and never lift my leg up again. imagine how embarrassing needing an air lift off a mountain would be because I pulled a move I should have stopped twenty years ago? very irresponsible of me! ah the Hacienda days, such an amazing club, all black bouncers and shared toilets, so different from the Blackpool I grew up accustomed to, I loved the place! thats a very posh sounding fish finger buttie Matt! Tartare sauce and salad? well above our pay grade!

That deserves a thumbs up just for the pain I felt in my knees just watching you climb that mountain. Lord knows how you got down, it looked that steep, I think I'd have ended up in the lake at the bottom. The views of the lakes and the other mountains were magnificent. Was that Voodoo Ray by A Guy Called Gerald you were murdering Nick 🤔😁

WOW , Well I couldn't stop saying wow all the way through this... Absolutely stunning !! That reservoir is gorgeous ( no water shortages there !) though always a pity for the Spanish people who had to move out. The views from a distance were awsome .. they looked massive haha I thought " Noooo they don't mean that one !' But you did haha Do you use Alltrails, or where do you find routes for your trips? Loving the Spanish accent and Jilly checking with another hiker ... just to make sure haha. Gosh sooo steep and so easy to miss the path. Fatastic views from the top , well all the way up actually. An exciting challenge on a beautiful day. The drive to the mountain was just stunning. I have faith in you both. Shame they flood villages, we have one in Rutland that was flooded too. The masks are just weird. I think I would enjoy walking until the viewpoint at 5:24 and leave the rest to the mad folks like you guys lol. Especially mad folk that take the wrong route lol. What a fab route.

😂 with a name like that they should be. we actually toured all the old filming locations about ten years ago.they are all in Southern Spain. it is a lot less green there so I guess it was easy to double up for the old Wild West.
There was quite a few on this hike and at the top but it was a Saturday and this is a popular track in the area! It was a great day! Have a great weekend mate 👍
i climbed a mountain once. me and my dad. i thought it would be like close encounters of the third kind. we would get on top, look down and discover a u.f.o.. landing base. another time, we were supposed to climb a mountain, the day before we left i twisted my ankle. did you and jill ever hike up to the hollywood sign? that looks like a long hike. i think thats two or three hours. i dont think i could do that

It really was a gorgeous day weatherwise although I (Jill) got quite badly burnt as with all the fun of the climb I forgot to reapply my sun cream 😬 (you’ll see in the next holiday video in a few weeks time) I love how you can find out what things are by taking a picture on your phone, every day really is a school day 🤣 Have a great week guys ❤️

Got my boots on and sunblock too. Off we go. I was hoping to see you use the height and name app! I was doing quite well walking over that reservoir. I even enjoyed the walk being monitored by those faces on the trees. But then it got TOUGH! I must have been mad to agree to come with you - BUT ohhhhh the view. It made me forget the pain. Till the next morning that is 🤣🤣🤣! That last bit going down was gorgeous. Loved the cows and their music. I'm so glad you filmed this- Now I can watch this any time I need to escape the dull and dreary days of winter. Pretty flower indeed. We love that app. Use it a lot. Lovely chapel. it certainly gets the adrenaline going. even if we could film it going back down is a nightmare. lots of cursing, climbing backwards and fighting all the time to keep your bottle! not nearly as pretty!

This is one amazing mountain! 😍😍Lovely silhouette, incredible views and interesting ascent! 👍👍Beautifully filmed too of course 😍😍. I have one small comment regarding comparison to one of the finest Scottish mountains 😜😜 - Ben Nevis may be lower than Pico Gilbo, but the ascent gain is twice as high, coz you start nearly at sea level. Actually, in that respect Ben Nevis is higher than Mount Blanc, coz you start the Mount Blanc trail at 3800m 😁😁😁😁

Looked a pretty amazing hike. They sure know how to make picturesque reservoirs in Spain. The views from up were amazing. Only ever got p!ss!d in Spain and never hiked. A bit airy in places, I'd be more concerned going down than up tho. Super weather day for it. I thought there were Brits on tour at the top with the topless blokes ha ha
Hi Paul you would love Pico de Europa (Real Spain 🤣) This really was a stunning hike! Yeah the guys at the top practically hiked most of the way with us nice kids very Spanish but insisted on singing English boy band stuff at the top not sure if it was for our benefit or not there was a group of girls with them but they didn’t want to do the final scramble so we’re sat on a ledge a little lower down! Was a smashing day weather wise although I (Jill) got quite badly burnt 🥵 Have a great week ahead, catch you soon 👍

Wow what an amazing hike and the views throughout your hike were stunning. That rock scramble looked a bit tough and it is always so much harder going down that up. Bummer that in making the reservoir they had to have a village go below the water line. We have a few submerged towns here in the states as well. I hope you guys are having a great week! 😊👍

Wow, now that is a mountain and that was some drive in, especially to get a free park too! The colour after the bridge was stunning and I think I would have been just as happy settling down for the day amongst all that! That goodness for rehydrating and helpful Spanish people or else that could have been one dam long walk. Unbelievable views one the way up and over the reservoir but it must have been tough in that heat and going up the side of doom, instead of the official path. Mind you, the official path did not look much better and I think you needed to be a trained contortionist to get up, around and under some of those rocks - a beast indeed! Breath-taking views from the summit and thankfully you did not pull a hamstring when you were kicking it's ass, amazing scrambling up but what go's up must come down - yikes! I think I would have gone 16 out of 10 to be fair what a view and what a 360! That must have been a relief to get back down in one piece but great to than be able to enjoy the meadows walk back to the reservoir, despite those cows, which did not look very friendly to me. Walking back over the bridge and looking back at the mountain, it looks almost impossible you were bother there a couple of hours ago. Well deserved red wine and fish finger sandwich - Dee lious us! have to say when the mountain appeared from so many miles away I was really shocked! what have we let ourselves in for? could have done with some Spanish people helping us two days later when we got completely off track for three hours which left us with a nine hour hike! 🥵 like sheep we followed two other people in front of us that made the same mistake in missing the path and sure enough a few minutes later another couple who had been following us made the same mistake. very foolish! I need to be careful with those kicked it’s behind shots, can you imagine pulling a hamstring and then not being able to complete the hike? that would be so embarrassing! honestly Alan Spanish cows are so different from English ones. I’ve lay down next to them chatting with them for hours on end and they seem so chilled. English cows you often have to stand up to! we did catch way too much sun on that day, we had our faces and elbows covered and nothing else. Jill only narrowly evaded a hospital trip from burns to her arm. just don’t really think of those parts to cover with sun cream on a nice day. that fish finger sandwich was heaven and wine at £1 a bottle tastes so much better! hope your having an amazing weekend. excited for your Wendy’s review as was dying to try it. had one in London back in the 80s that I remember liking, im guessing they have changed..

This one was really beautiful. We enjoyed the Spanish lessons we were repeating Gilbo with you. It looked quite a climb we were feeling it just watching you 😆. Some wonderful views the colour of the water was absolutely amazing. You must be the hardest working channel to bring us our entertainment. It was pretty busy at the top considering the climb you had to do to get there. Did you attract a dog at 13:49? Those cow bells sound so good. Very mighty boosh at the end there 😆. Tough, steep climb but that didn't stop the Jean Claude Van Nick flying kick 🦵 Hacienda days, blimey I bet most people from back then aren't scaling mountains higher than any in the UK (and chapels afterwards for good measure)! I know a few Matts, but we refer to our very favourite one on this video! we really needed your help on this holiday. literally nobody speaks a word of English, we really like that but at the same time we aren’t doing nearly enough to counter that! flying kick? I think my days of those ended in the latter 90s sadly, I should probably take the responsible option and never lift my leg up again. imagine how embarrassing needing an air lift off a mountain would be because I pulled a move I should have stopped twenty years ago? very irresponsible of me! ah the Hacienda days, such an amazing club, all black bouncers and shared toilets, so different from the Blackpool I grew up accustomed to, I loved the place! thats a very posh sounding fish finger buttie Matt! Tartare sauce and salad? well above our pay grade!

WOW , Well I couldn't stop saying wow all the way through this... Absolutely stunning !! That reservoir is gorgeous ( no water shortages there !) though always a pity for the Spanish people who had to move out. The views from a distance were awsome .. they looked massive haha I thought " Noooo they don't mean that one !' But you did haha Do you use Alltrails, or where do you find routes for your trips? Loving the Spanish accent and Jilly checking with another hiker ... just to make sure haha. Gosh sooo steep and so easy to miss the path. Fatastic views from the top , well all the way up actually. An exciting challenge on a beautiful day. The drive to the mountain was just stunning. I have faith in you both. Shame they flood villages, we have one in Rutland that was flooded too. The masks are just weird. I think I would enjoy walking until the viewpoint at 5:24 and leave the rest to the mad folks like you guys lol. Especially mad folk that take the wrong route lol. 😂 with a name like that they should be. we actually toured all the old filming locations about ten years ago.they are all in Southern Spain. it is a lot less green there so I guess it was easy to double up for the old Wild West.

There was quite a few on this hike and at the top but it was a Saturday and this is a popular track in the area! It was a great day! Have a great weekend mate 👍
i climbed a mountain once. me and my dad. i thought it would be like close encounters of the third kind. we would get on top, look down and discover a u.f.o.. landing base. another time, we were supposed to climb a mountain, the day before we left i twisted my ankle. did you and jill ever hike up to the hollywood sign? that looks like a long hike. i think thats two or three hours. i dont think i could do that
Hi Kris mountain climbing is fun something we have always enjoyed but we have never had an alien encounter we are sorry to say! Sorry to hear about your ankle!
