Thank you so much for this video 🎉 Asturias is a wishlist destination for me and you just cemented my resolve to not only visit but somehow immigrate to. Your articulate commentary was just sublime. I have subscribed x 👍🏻
Thank You, Kamilla - this is the Loveliest video I have watched on Asturias, and especially Oveido! Your running commentary is no natural, and deeply felt - so refreshing! ...and you have a Painter's Eye for Beauty! As a composer / pianist, who creates quiet, mysterious and reflective music - I think I would easily fall in love with this place!
That was a lovely video, beautifully shot and edited. Your pronunciation in both Spanish and English are excellent. We live in Asturias and love it here. My son spent a summer in Moscow while in college and he speaks Russian and Italian so I have sent him this video because of how he has been to both Oviedo and Moscow and he will appreciate your observations. Saludos desde Asturias.
What a wonderful video! I’m so happy it is a long video and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Wouldn’t have minded if it was longer! Wonderful narration! Planning to visit Asturias soon and now I can’t wait! Kamilla, you seem like a fun travel companion. So I have subscribed.
Привет Камилла!, I am happy you could visit my country, the Principality of Asturias. It is really nice watching you enjoying and describing the landscape, culture, cities and food. And yes, really it's a paradise, as you said when you described the Victory Cross, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, the infinity of god, so that's Asturias, the beginning and end of a natural paradise. Congratulations for this video, and wishing to hear from you soon!!
We plan to emigrate to Asturias from the US in about 18 months. While we've already decided to move to this region - probably Oviedo - your video did so much to make us realize we're making the right decision! A wonderful video. Thanks for your efforts!
Gijon is better. The sea, the beachs, the temperature is softer all the seasons, and the people is more open. But Oviedo is near (everyting is near in Asturias), so you can enjoy all the region wherever you live.
@@DILINGER0 Thanks! We plan to spend time in both cities when we visit this fall. We're a bit concerned about the number of tourists clogging Gijon. Any thoughts on that?
I am presently in Oviedo and have traveled to some of the same towns as you describe so beautifully in your video. It is a region overlooked by the hordes of tourists who converge on Spain each year It is however a region that is so enchanting. Kamilla, with your video and lyrical description, have done it justice
Excellent video. I lived in Andalucia for 21 years, but always spent July and August with friends in Oviedo. It was much more comfortable. Spasibo. Do svidaniya.
I'm Spanish myself, dreaming of visiting Oviedo one day and doing the Camino de Santiago, even when I'm atheist. It's a place I wouldn't mind getting lost, northern Spain is beautiful. Thank you for the excellent quality of your images, I've never seen many of those places until now. And amazing pronunciation of Spanish, being Russian I'm sure you had almost zero difficulties to pronounce Spanish 😁
What a wonderful and informative video. You're a good writer in English. You provide wonderful descriptions of this area of Spain and describe how you feel so well. Even the music you've chosen for the video is interesting. Some of it sounds as if it's folk music from the region, is that true? Anyway, very nice job. You video was a joy to watch.
I am planning to visit Asturias next year and this is the first video I am watching to get information and being acquainted a little. I have watched the whole video and I must admit that you have done a brilliant job, awesome ! As you mentioned in the middle of the video, I have the same purpose to be there- to get relief from stress & monotonous life . I must also appreciate you for choosing such a soothing background music. Is this from Russian traditional or Celtic ? 🙂 and....thank you once again 🙂
Good quality video and I really enjoyed watching the whole thing as I’m thinking of moving to Asturias …but you should really take a lot more footage for your future videos and get more into the editing because you are a great host with a beautiful and soothing voice .. thank you for sharing. ❤
Next tiene you should visit biggest city Gijón, wonderful industrial city Avilés, and picturesque fishers village of Lastres. There are a lot of remarkable landscapers in the mountains. Picos de Europa that you have already visited have some but there are places like Somiedo that are like paradise on Earth. And the beaches there are a bunch of awesome beaches.

12:16 Cangas people must have been tough warriors.
11:55...I love that. Say it again, "this region was never conquered by Muslims." People need to learn what we all know in Asturias.

Oviedo-Santiago is the original "camino" . There is a say:
