- We’re excited to announce that Wasteland 3 has surpassed 1 million players! As a thank you, we’re releasing a short film we shot a few years ago as a mood piece to help us set the look and feel of what a post-apocalyptic Colorado could be like. We hope you enjoy it.

Bison's meat delivery would be a great boss fight for the over world map.
I see the video has returned. I would LOVE to see a TV-series like this about post-apocalyptic cold and snowy Colorado and its brutal inhabitants based on Wasteland IP! Everything about this short movie was PERFECT from the cinematography to colors, music, characters and the tension. :D
same such a interesting world. Reason I enjoyed the game half as much as I did.
Keep in mind that there are also a metric SHIT TON of areas that haven't been explored in these games as well.Colorado is just 1 location and it's off the rail insane.Imagine a series where other states(hell even other countries) are explored in this world.

Gunna be honest, only around 30 hours in and haven't scrapped the top of the story, then I'm jaw dropped seeing huge updates for FREE with new ways to kick ass. Best game I've played since fallout new vegas, I can feel the passion that has been put into this, the effort and writing put in every bit shows how a true founder of an amazing source no matter how small, can make something so original and special. Got the game for 30 bucks and would pay 60 just to honor the care they've put. Cyberpunk took 5 years to make, vegas took a year and a half. Nv had some bugs and some issues I'll agree, yet these people pulled it together and showed that a big corporation doesn't mean care and love, just the profet. Thank u for the love and care you've done within this game, no, within this art...
What I love the most in this short, is the chilling, malevolent look and smile the driver briefly gives the man after he begs him one last time to climb aboard. Great acting there.
Boss Netflix is calling. They want this on TV serie.
would love to see this as a series. Felt like the game for sure. Could you imagine what the second kids season would be like? Negan has nothing Victory Buchanon.

There is tons of lore, cool, dark and honestly some super funny content that they could use. I can see multiple season off this in my mind. During all the season there should be hidden hints about the incoming onslaught regarding AI, Robots and also adventures to the far north.
Wasteland 1 Saga - The Desert Rangers
Season 1: "The 253rd" (Prelude to the oncoming devastation and also to the principles for the soon to be born Desert Rangers. Season end highlight should be the total nuclear annihilation)
Season 2: "I have become death the destroyer of worlds" (Season focused on revealing the aftermath and horrors of the nuclear holocaust. This season should also focus on the birth of the desert rangers and all the difficulties that they must have faced.)
Season 3: "Hearts and minds" (Season focused on the desert ranger turning to be more operational force trying to the odds while making good things happen and horrible mistakes. This should have much to do with the prison stuff and have a conclusion with Highpool, Ag Center, LA, etc. Also there should be some huge reveal to the AI stuff.)
Season 4: "Matt 7.15" (DRs start hunting for Intel, secrets, news and any info against the new threat. They should meet "men-in-metal" acting like prophets for a new dawn... And as you might guess they don't exactly promise life, but death and reincarnation to a AI enslavement." )
Season 5: "Man no more" (Season focused finding base Cochise and Finnsters diabolical plans. Season should have massive end fight with tremendous after effects. Some good and... Some... Well very bad :D)
Wasteland 2 Saga - Day by Day
Season 6: "Man again" (Rangers are trying to rebuild themselves again and are facing desperate situations with Highpool, Ag Center, Rail Nomads and Red Scorpions. Season final should hint about possible atomic threat in the east... Mad Monks and some very obscure AI-stuff)
Season 7: "The choice" (Rangers are making some extremely difficult and harsh choices to resolve ongoing conflicts that result in devastating results. Once all are said and done they finally start to move east for new hope.... But as we all know s*hit is about to hit the fan.)
Season 8: "The beautiful glow" (I really would love to see a season focused on these insane maniacs and would love to see how DRss solve the looming threat of either the monks themselves or/and atomic bomb.)
Season 9: "Beyond the wall." (Welcome to Hollywood baby! Absolute and total insanity should be going on that are trying to drag DRs away from their main goal of finding their way against a new AI threat.
Season 10: "Endgame" (This is it. The DRs need to fight some insane odds against the final threat. This season should also see loss of key members of the DRs. Final battle should be a spectacle! Hints regarding the north found.)
Wasteland 3 Saga - New Horizons
Season 11: "On the road again" (DRs make contact north and start a pleasant journey to the the north... Pleasant if you like to be loosing men left and right, while fighting bandits and mutated horrors.)
Season 12: "Home sweet home!" (The peaceful times have come as DRs make home to a new Ranger HQ and meet the pleasant patriarch.... Yeah right. A ton of manure hits and is about to hit the fan as DRs start to explore the north. But they get a new toy Kodiak. I kinda can see Kodiak upgrading could be a side-plot.)
Season 13: "Living la Vida Loca" ( Ahh! What joy! Funny clowns in the north. Nothing could go wrong? Right? RIGHT!? The team hunts for the Patriarchs children and are under constant threat from Payasos and also other factions.
Season 14: "One" ( A surprise contact is made to a new machine intelligence that seems to be benevolent? Could this be true? The last children of the patriarch is apprehended or executed in a heart wrenching event and other unresolved issues get conclusion. Main reward is finding all the horrible things The Patriarch has done and now it's time for the DRs to make final choice how to handle the Patriarch.)
Season 15: "God's Gonna Cut You Down" (Here we are again. Poopsicles are flying in the fan and all things start to go very wrong. Rangers need to resolve the northern conflict swiftly and without hesitation. No matter what they choose, everything comes in the end to a final conclusion with The Patriarch... Could peace be achieved? Who knows... :P )
Wasteland 4 Saga - Age of plenty

rookie mistake... always wipe out an obvious threat at first chance. trucker was a threat when it was clear he's a cannibal, now he's missing out on life. hitchhiker was a threat when he had a chance to fight back, now his meats gona get cold.

This was fing amazing. I’m a little late to the wasteland 3 party. Just picked it up and about to start. While my download is finishing up I just watched this vignette and loved every second of it. Had a good laugh with Bison at the end of it too. Just fn awesome man. And I’m vegan. LOL!

2 ounces of garlic
3 tomatoes
1 human carcass, preferably alive and fresh, straight into oven. 40 - 50 min.
If dead, drag it behind a car for 4 - 5 km before putting it into oven.

It really need some DLC with epic character levels. Could be something about the slavers from Kansas that Cordite talks about or an entirely new faction. Maybe something recurring from Wasteland 1 or 2.

@@mage0534 I will tell you,as someone who played right when it launched.
Depending on where you play,be patient with bugs,crashes,etc... i think they fixed a lot of them,but ohh boy,i used to quick save after each interaction lemme tell ya,but now its way better.
There is no iniative,your full turn if you shoot first,enemy's full turn if they shoot first.
There are variations with skills and combos,pretty nice and there is a lot of space for roleplaying.
That's what i have to say for now.

I absolutely love wl3, still full of bugs, but when you have a great story, I look past the small shit. Are there any additional content on the way?
I don't know why but after the first update i found new stuff to Buy from vendors, for example armor mods. Anyway i bet there be more content, at least we got a load time improvement, still there is the crashing issue, oh man that really bothers me

Has the game been patched yet so it doesn't crash every 20 minutes? Im dying to replay it. It was the first ever turned based RPG i ever finished but I can't play it again with those hiccups
On consoles,everything save crashing has been just about fixed.There's still a few glitches here and there,but its...."stable".
Mine crashes now and then. Xbone.

It’s basically akin to a doctor who botched a surgery and telling a patient, “well let’s see you do surgery and see how easy it is for you.” It’s not my job to make video games, I didn’t spend decades making them, and frankly just because I have one complaint about the game doesn’t mean I don’t like it, and your over zealous Defense is ridiculously overprotective.
@@mrfivegold Yes I came to that conclusion as well. WS2 and WS3 do storyline excellent, I have no complaints here. Its the clunky mechanics and lack of selection compared to other tactical rpgs that makes this game look like 3rd grade game. On top of that selling it for 60$?! The game which crowdfunded.
@@blacklight4720 I don’t mind it selling for 60bucks considering what Outworlds did, and the combat has been falsely associated with Xcom when it’s more akin to grid base rpgs like Ultima or other vintage rpgs. The problem is how some of the animation bugs, pauses in combat, and how even though the game is great with variety of choices it seems like the ending comes kinda soon, and lacks a real meaty final boss. Inxile is a fun game company and I can play any of their games over and over again, but this game really needs an expansion pack. Maybe one that adds another story where the rangers can overthrow the Patriarch and has to slowly begin his conquest for Colorado to be able to send supplies to Arizona.
@@mrfivegold Bugs can be fixed its the mechanics is what concerns me,it can't be changed it will remain as it is. Combat system is quite boring and limited(I must admit its improvement upon WS2), and with games such as DOS2 and xcom2 which set the standard it makes it feel unprofessional.
I believe this game is made for people who interested mainly in story.

Regarding bugs, they should not be there to begin with, the game should be polished before launch but my guess is that microsoft understands that hyped people would pre order anyway.
Would watch a TV show based on Wasteland anytime. But I wish more effort was put into patching the actual game. Still riddled with bugs and glitches.

After clearing the vermin behind the Knox ranch I went to talk to the rancher to complete the mission. Instead he repeated the same action as earlier in the mission where he shows you the way to the scar collectors. That’s where the mission is now stuck and I can’t complete it anymore. This game is great but so many bugs, it’s very frustrating. Playing on console but I don’t recommend it especially after the whole CDPR debacle. I long for the old days where you buy a finished product that actually works.
Would have been better to spend the money on game content...

Not gonna lie. Didn't like this video. Didn't feel like Wasteland 3. This could be anywhere, anything, and... it lost me.
Now to be fair, I may be biased in my critique which throws my opions out of the water, but I will voice them nonetheless.
I wanted to make my own wasteland 3 live action video, featuring team november driving around in the kodiak, listening to two different songs being played through the same radio. Welcome back Kotter, and Stark Raving Sane. With the Driver jamming out to "Therapy?" And everyone else trying to focus on welcome back Kotter. The passengers in the back are sitting, cramped, around a makeshift table, eating canned meat a snickers bar, a jar of pickles and funny tasting burger, while someone sniffs a scratch and sniff sticker page, and another sleeps on a cot made from ammo abd jackets or something. There's a small lamp, that illuminates the table that they're circled around. There's a bunch of trinkets from the game. The driver has the driving pee container and a dream catcher, and a synth head. There's a metal breifcase, a deadly nerf gun, a deck of cards, "dead red wuz here", ranger memorabilia. Just all kinds of trash and junk found and kept for sentimental value.
The radio goes static, and the gang complains, then the transmission comes through clear about a challenge to the rangers, and the horrors that await them. Everyone gets stiff and looks around at each other before. They begin loading their guns, before the voice on the radio reveals that they're talking about dungeons and dragons. Then the gang smiles, then cheers, and enjoys the praise, they laugh it off, and the kodiak resumes it's merriment. The camera pans out to see that they're driving towards explosions and flashing lights happening in the distance. Just another day in the frigid wasteland of Colorado.
3 IS SOOOO BORING!!!!! 2 was way better
So, dlc being released (and money arriving in yours pocket); update with some "meh" feature...When you will fix the fucking crashes every time in the Ranger HQ?!
