The PC port is done very well but its highly demanding.
I think update patches will bring performance boost.
@@GamerZoneX227 hopefully 🤞🏼
How is your gpu only at 4.6gb vram with high textures? I get up to 5.7gb with medium textures
Using DLSS Balanced
can you do the same laptop for dragon dogma 2 please?
Its Joever for us rtx 3060m users 🥲
For comparison PS5 runs Horizon at native 4K @ 30fps in quality mode or 1800p checkerboard @ 60fps in performance mode.
But i wonder what settings they use because the video from digital foundry showed pc looking better at lower resolutions
Keep in mind that both modes use DRS on PS5.
Just use FS4 FG guys...i get 80fps constant litreally in all high preset with just the shadows down to medium. (Just so u know i have ryzen 7 and the 130watts rtx 3060 laptop gpu)
FPS is boosted but in some areas it looks horrible since it is still in beta stages
@@legacybenchmarks hmm. well I haven't still noticed smthing tht out of the place. But everything from dlss to FG still does need some polishing.
For instance, nvidia reflex is causing performance issues for some people right now.h
@@jiteshsingh7329 As you progress later in the game you will get desert & underwater areas. Problems start to arise there
How did you manage to use High textures? I tried with Very High, High and Medium, the GPU power get rekt basically.
Exclusive full screen + DLSS Balanced 1080p?
Prefer No Sysmem Fallback also seems to help, gave the game +300mb VRAM allocation or so and brought my FPS up by like 7 in a heavy spot in Meridian
Using lower Anisotropic Filtering will also help reduce bus pressure but it's also minor, like 2fps
As well as Low Crowd, it seems.
Try restarting the game everytime u change settings
Somehow i have 45-50 fps on this settings in this location. RTX 3060 Laptop Ryzen 7 5800h 16gb RAM. Still wondering why...
Try Restarting your game every time you make changes in the settings
@@legacybenchmarksThanks, it worked.
every time 😭 at least it restart quickly I guess
I have an alienware 15 r2 with gtx 970m. Playing horizon FW on very low settings and with 5-15fps on cut scenes and 20-30fps on in field maps. Managed to buy an Asus tuf ryzen 7 rtx 4060 with my very tight budget. Going to eat bread for the next 2 weeks. Installed Horizon and playing all at max settings. I was very satisfied while eating my sliced bread. 😂
The burning shores is so much more demanding need a video there
Hi, I have the same specs on my Laptop Legion 5
but cpu i7-11800h
Can you tell me what the best settings are in your opinion?
If your GPU TDP is higher than mine then you can try pushing the textures up a notch. However the Burning Shores DLC is more demanding than the main game and may require you to lower your settings again. Use the settings in the video & you'll be fine without sacrificing much graphics quality or fps.
Hi ! I have the same laptop, ; Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz but in version Nitro gamer 5 AN 515-55. i put 16go of ram, but when i put at maximum it is difficult to stream in good conditions, i play for many games in cloud now
4 cores CPU..
Can you try helldivers 2 please? Some videos show great performance and in the comments, people complain about their performance.
nearly same performance. in HD2 after an hour play u´l drop to 30-40 in battle without 1%low (even lower)
how are you getting 90 watt usage i have nitro 5 ryzen 9 rtx3070 100 watt, but it only runs at 60 to 70 watt, and i am getting 50 to 60 fps in medium preset with dlss, any
tips?
Check your temps and see if its thermal throttling
Same here with a RTX 3050. probably a bug. Should fix in updates.
Whats your RAM specs ? Im so interested to know the type of ur ram
Crucial 16GB x 2 - 3200 DDR4
How do you have such great temps?
Using cooling pad?
Which one if you use it?
If you have cpu boost on how are you not getting 80 above cpu temps?
I do not use any cooling pad. I set my fans to maximum and just lift my laptop up a little bit. As for performance mode I am using the maximum performance preset.
@@legacybenchmarks I've got a similar laptop, 5600h, 3060 (100W), 32gb ram, but a omen 15 instead of nitro 5. I changed the cooling paste every week to keep the temps down, then finally decided to try Honeywell PTM7950 (Phase changing cooling pad), It's a game changer. not even close to throttling pulling 100W constantly from the GPU and 65W on the CPU (100% on both) with a shared cooling loop. Best thing I've decided to do for my laptop, It's also doing it while not sounding like a jet engine anymore, fans running at 2-3000 rpm instead of 5-6000. If you do decide to try it out, make sure you do some research and get the correct thickness (0.25mm), there's also 0.2 which doesn't work as well. It's almost as good as liquid metal but isn't conductive and doesn't degrade in years so you don't need to "re-paste" it all the time.
If you're interested in my temps, I've got a rdr2 benchmark on my channel. Good luck
My Victus D16 3060 laptop has similar temps, I repasted it with Corsair XTM70 and that helped tremendously. In games like BG3 I don't mind lower temps so I use Eco mode and the fans barely spool up. It's lovely. I've also undervolted both the 3060 and my 11400H which also helps.
are you using dual channel ram?
@@hyped.g3294 Yes
is there really a boost in performance in dual channel if there is. should I change to double 8GB RAM from a single 16GB ram or just add another 16GB RAM to make it 32 GB?
@@hyped.g3294 Yes there's performance & stability increase in dual channel. And go for dual channel 32GB (16x2).16GB RAM is bare minimum in 2024.
My acer nitro 5 i7 11th gen rtx 3060 6gb can't lock 60 fps at high when I check my gpu only 95 watts how can I push my gpu to limit
Only 95W ? How much is your GPU TDP ?
@@legacybenchmarks only 95w maximum graphic power my charger cable said 180w weird all fan max fps still drop for this horizon
@@AbdulAziz-lo2ec No no charger power is totally different! Your max GPU TDP is 95W so it's gonna run at 95W max!
@@legacybenchmarks but can't even reach 90w maybe my laptop recon I think horizon my favourite game
@@AbdulAziz-lo2ec First check if your laptops properly plugged in & is set to high performance mode. Secondly check gpu temps as it might be thermal throttling. A good cleanup & a change of thermal paste might solve your issue.
Meawhile me with 1650 laptop
Dont worry the game looks good even in low settings
How da hell did you get that gpu temp? I have the same gpu with intel i5 11400H and my fan spins like it could fly the laptop if turned the other way around😂
I set my fans at maximum during gaming
@@legacybenchmarks i see. My fan spins at 5600rpm. Do you think its abnornal for the noice to reach 90db?
@@ahmadazhar3473 What are your temps at this rpm?
@@legacybenchmarks gpu @78, cpu@89🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ahmadazhar3473 These temps arent bad since its a laptop but I would suggest deep cleaning and a change of thermal paste for better temps
Can you tall me your 3060 tdp please?
95W
Thank you!
Turbo boost cpu disable?
No
how do you keep the temps so low

Rtx 3060 laptop=1660 ti desktop
rtx3060 is like 20-25% better
No same 2060 12gb in benchmarks
@@MohamedMahmoud-ft8rz yeah it's much closer to 2060 but still slightly better
you must be kidding right? even a rtx 2060 is better than 1660 ti. rtx 3060 laptop is comparable to 2060 super
Although that might be the case with this laptop's Rtx 3060 which's TGP maxes out around 95w , but that's not the case with all 3060 as they can get around a 25% boost if they have a maxed out 140w version....
Because Unlike the rtx 4000 series 3000 series scales hugher with higher power limits....
