3:47 there’s a lot more subtact in this section I think, I recognize those quieter vocal bits from Restart, including the “Woo!” which you said was from Richard Caddock. Also i think some of the percussion in this part is Subtact.
On the bare-bones level, pretty much. XD I'd imagine WRLD provided the base for this song that everybody else built on. That being said, the other artists added a whole lot of flavor to the song that sets it apart from what it would be as just a WRLD and Richard Caddock track.
Instant sub! This and Unity are awesome videos, definitely well-thought out. You clearly put a lot of effort into this, and it was worth it! After doing Without You and Worth the Lie (if you decide to do those), would you consider doing a Who Did What video for bitbird's If Only octocollab? If you're not familiar with the artists, it would require a lot of listening to the various artists' music. But it would be cool to see what your opinion is on who did what in the song.
Thanks for checking this out! I think "Who Did What" videos are going to be pretty rare, special events because the level of commitment it takes to make this requires a large cooldown time XD. But I may have to keep those in mind for the future.
No worries, i totally get that these will take a while to make, and you don't want to be just making these. In the meantime, i'll definitely stick around for your other content, since you have good taste in music ;D
I'd love to see one of these analysis videos on The Anthem by Ephixa and Farewell by Hellberg. I'm not talented enough to be able to tell who's doing what
Aw thanks! I played the song pretty loud in headphones and listened very closely. From having listened to a good bit of each of their other songs, and using each of them as a reference, I tried to assign each element of the track to one of the artists as meticulously and accurately as possible. Then I spent a ridiculous amount of time in my video editing software creating and arranging text.
The Google definition for stab is "(in popular music) a staccato interjected phrase, typically by horns or a keyboard." There is a funky keyboard sound that plays in the off-beat during the second half of the melody in the drop. If I was to write out the rhythm and put the parts where the stabs come in in all caps, it would look something like this: one e and a, two e and A, three E and a, FOUR e AND a, FIVE E and A, six E AND A, seven E and a, EIGHT e and a. Hope this helped a bit! :)
This is pretty awesome
wub wub wub wub wub
Haha! Had to add some flair into the video.
i can honestly say this helped me appreciate this song more
wub x4
Hey thanks! I'm glad because it did the same for me.

You know, now that I listen to it again, I totally see where you're coming from. I knew Subtact must have contributed more to the song...
Richard,WRLD,Slippy,Subtact and Nitro Fun dressed as Sailor Moon characters
Tyra:🤤😳🥵
You should seriously do more of these cause they're so good!
Need more of this kind of vids... I LOVE IT😍
I just realised the parts I liked most about the song were basically all Nitro Fun. that's great lol
Well, Nitro Fun certainly knows what he's doing haha!

I loved the last one, and you somehow outdid yourself. Great job.
I definitely worked even harder on this one!
Some of these I don't understand how you figured out... good job!
Have you heard Glow? That should give you an insight of what Richard Caddock did.
Darkfire293 only once or twice.
ok
Lots of close listening at a loud volume. ;)
I actually relied quite heavily on Glow to determine his contributions.
On the simplest part, wlrd and richard themselves are possible enough to make this lul
On the bare-bones level, pretty much. XD

Super well done, props
Thanks! :)
Thanks, these are a great idea
Thanks dude! Glad you liked it. :)
Great

Ooh that'd be fun!
This is an amazing analysis! How did you do this?

@@Nomadder Oh my lord, you're awesome!
Love the song even more
If the 5 artists made a comedy tv series
Can you do Get Lemon and We Don't Play Next
2:12 Nope nope nope nope nope. WRLD totally took the lead on that one, not Slips and Slurs.
It is Slippy lol
it is totally slippy
Defo slippy.
New subcriber :) amazing job
Thanks for sticking around! :)
What the hell is "Off-Beat Stabs"?

can you do one for Destiny?
Who produced the song?
@@Nomadder it was another very big colab of a bunch of popular edm artists. th-cam.com/video/-mMmOKHzuWc/w-d-xo.html
@@jacobh12349 Oh yeah that one! I totally would if I knew the artists' different styles better.
@@Nomadder oh
Wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub
Reliable source?
This is all educated conjecture based on my knowledge of these artists' styles, not cold hard facts. ;)

Slips&slurs
Wubwubwubwubwub...
It's 3:22
you're both wrong, it's 3:23
Worth the lie next ?
We'll see.
Chill Pill Nice ! That was fast
3:20 ...
Subtract did nearly nothing and got a credit
Well this is pure conjecture, and it's very possible Subtact did more.
Hope that's true
Still remains a bad song, for 5 musicians.
Slips & Slurs and Richard Caddock somehow saved it a bit.
Not objectively...we must have different tastes in music. :)
NRGMonster I love it personally.
Yeah, I wouldn't be able to stomach the amount of time this takes to edit if I didn't like the song. XD
And to actually make a song that "everyone" agrees with.
