You are so wonderful by offering seeds to people who need them. What a blessing you are to fellow gardeners. I don't need any, but I know there are others that do.
You are on top of things this year. You’re going to have an awesome garden! You are so sweet offering seeds to your subscribers that need seeds. I don’t need any, but thank you for blessing others. You have such a kind heart and God will multiple your generosity.
Good morning, Dom, I truly enjoy your videos. You are such an inspiration and a blessing for all that you share and teach us . Have a blessed day and week🙏🏾😊
Dom, offering seeds to people is an amazing thing. Please post when you start your Peppers & Tomatoes. We are in the same zone, and I would love to start along with you.
I already have onion starts in my garden at the moment. You can put your zip code in this and it'll tell you exactly when to start each plant. www.almanac.com/gardening/planting-calendar/SC/Cottageville
Very sweet of you. I just left the store buying seef starting soil. I saw a 72 pack of those starters and wondered...how do these work...lol! I would love to try the painted pony so sent an email TY
I just got a new bunch of onions in from Dixondale so I will putting those out today. I am also starting my peppers inside at the end of month because they take so long to germinate. Great job today.
I love that you are willing to share seeds. I have the painted pony beans from Mary's Heirloom Seeds. She's kind of local to me. I live in southeast Texas and I think she's closer to Hill Country. I'm growing the Yod Fah Chinese Broccoli to try and see if I can get a few sprigs of broccoli before it gets too hot. I also have mystery plants but most of that is from my garden helper (3 yr old mini me) removing my labels and putting them in new spots lol.
That's VERY generous! I'm going to start some seeds this week. This is only my second year really getting serious about having a garden. I did start some things from seed last year, but most were plants from HD (expensive). Looking forward to starting more from seed this year.
I love to sow my seeds just love it I'm in the Caribbean so I can plant all year that's so nice but then the worms attack in the summer time now that's hard trying to get rid of them.
I can relate! 😕🐛 they can do damage. I have found that bringing diverse birds into my garden by making a solar water fountain, planting things they enjoy seeds from, & using sticks around my garden for them to land on and eat all the bugs has made a huge difference!
@@faithfamilyhomestead 😊❤ you're so welcome Dom! I made my water fountain from a home depot bucket, rocks from around my yard, and a $20 solar foutain from Amazon 🤣 and they love it!!!
I started onion seeds already in zone 4/5. First time trying and very very early. But they take so long to grow. ... Did you all ever try kohlrabi? Another brassica that forms a ball on top of the dirt. They're great, peeled and eaten raw. Can be planted 8" apart for a bit over baseball size harvest in 65 (?) Days.
hey Dom hope things are going good ,i've use those seed pods before ,but now i use the cups ,you plant the hole cup. good video , you are so thoughtful god bless
I agree that the pellets are a handy choice when just needing to get the seeds growing. I usually use potting mix but it’s a mess indoors! I had already thought about using peat pellets again. I use a bigger size for my tomatoes and peppers. I see your mi garden seeds and I use them as well. They have a super good variety of heirlooms with excellent germination! It’s a nice warm day in Minnesota today at 33 degrees! Not nice enough to be outside without a coat!! I love your colorful hoodies and headbands! You look so young and cheerful and beautiful!
Awe thanks, I remember living in Kentucky and one day thinking it felt so nice at 32 haha but I'm back in the south and that's freezing 🥶... 😂 The pellets do come in handy! And I agree the seed starting soil does make a mess. So happy for the hoop house this season
I ordered the painted pony from another place… I can’t remember. I did keep checking MI gardener and yes, they were sold out! However, I have two packs and I plan to plant all of them!❤❤❤❤

Glad to help ☺️ I'm trying to have stay more organized this year 😅
Good morning, Dom, I truly enjoy your videos. You are such an inspiration and a blessing for all that you share and teach us . Have a blessed day and week🙏🏾😊
Good morning! 😊
it's the middle of a cold winter here in KC...glad you can start on spring
I know!! I'm excited 😆
I have found using pencil on garden tags lasts the longest for me. 🙂
That's awesome
How kind of you to share your seeds. As you said, sometimes it is really hard to get the garden started. GOD bless!
☺️
Take pictures of your labeled pellets. That way if the cats disrupt your plants, you will at least have a picture to help you sort the problem.
Thanks, good idea
You are so sweet offering seeds.
💞

Started them today... Posted on IG and have a video coming out later this week
@Faith Family Homestead thank you, what about onions?

Nice!!! That's awesome
Hey Dom! Nice job. Thanks for sharing
You bet
You are amazing!!
😆
When using those pellets it's best to take the wrapper off when you plant. I've had them suffocate the roots
I've never had them suffocate my roots but I agree you should take it off
I Oh,Ii just love that giggle!!! I'm so excited but Ican 't start just yet. I do need to chit potatoes and start sweet potato slips, though.🤗
Have fun! I'm hoping I'll have volunteer sweet potatoes this year 😄
Will the plastic hurt the soil?
No, I've planted the whole thing before 😉
Very nice Dom. We have used those in the past and decide to make our own seed starting and start in 6 packs. We are off to a good start so far.
Nice! What have you started so far?
@@faithfamilyhomestead A few tomatoes and some peppers. We will start a tray every week until planting time is close.
Nice!!

@@yayalovesyah3687 Nice tip about sticks etc in garden to draw birds.
Thanks so much
You're welcome 😁
I wish I had known to break it open before putting my seeds in 😢
You can still open them. It won't harm anything
