You are so wonderful by offering seeds to people who need them. What a blessing you are to fellow gardeners. I don't need any, but I know there are others that do.

Take pictures of your labeled pellets. That way if the cats disrupt your plants, you will at least have a picture to help you sort the problem.

I love that you are willing to share seeds. I have the painted pony beans from Mary's Heirloom Seeds. She's kind of local to me. I live in southeast Texas and I think she's closer to Hill Country. I'm growing the Yod Fah Chinese Broccoli to try and see if I can get a few sprigs of broccoli before it gets too hot. I also have mystery plants but most of that is from my garden helper (3 yr old mini me) removing my labels and putting them in new spots lol.

I can relate! 😕🐛 they can do damage. I have found that bringing diverse birds into my garden by making a solar water fountain, planting things they enjoy seeds from, & using sticks around my garden for them to land on and eat all the bugs has made a huge difference!

    • @faithfamilyhomestead

I agree that the pellets are a handy choice when just needing to get the seeds growing. I usually use potting mix but it’s a mess indoors! I had already thought about using peat pellets again. I use a bigger size for my tomatoes and peppers. I see your mi garden seeds and I use them as well. They have a super good variety of heirlooms with excellent germination!
It’s a nice warm day in Minnesota today at 33 degrees! Not nice enough to be outside without a coat!!
