1969 Built Tamiya 1/35 Kampfpanzer Leopard West German Army Medium Tank, Kit MT125, Motorized
This is the kit Dad built the model from back in the late 60s or early 70s. It could be motorized but, of course, Dad didn’t motorize his and the kits he had didn’t include motors. The one handrail is missing on the side. I enjoy the little details of the tools and the wire mesh over the engine.

Dad had two of these kits, still shrink wrapped, bought from Kmart as you can see from the sale sticker. He said this was the same kit he built only with the added remote control feature. I believe this is an 1980s kit based on Scalemates.com.
