Love doin the “Meadows row”. Less weight and slower rep and feeling the squeeze at the top. I’ll superset those with a low row.

Mike is this generation’s uncertified (Highly Qualified) bodybuilding teacher. Great content and information. Taking notes.👌🏻

I agree, but Mike is definitely certified. There are a lot of bs NASM or paper certified trainers who don’t look like they even lift or walk the talk. Mike is a retired IFBB pro bodybuilder, learned from the greats around him, personal experience of living the bodybuilding life, sports background, career outside of bodybuilding. He definitely certified. Im not saying this to argue at all. I think I’m just fed up with some of these licensed, or “certified” physical therapists or trainers or whatever lol. Saying it has to be done this way, or being overly complicated to sound smart or too textbook. And any other way can lead to injury or not effective. My fault about the long comment bro, have a good one 💪

Since I started following your advice especially on back training. I really feel my workouts more and can really tell a difference in my overall progress in training . My wife even commented on my back looking bigger. I Appreciate the much needed no BS content.

  • @drewmontana82

Question, is this angle of motion strictly for lower lat area only or is it also targeting the rear delts, traps, rhomboids etc? I see people doing a straight up motion suggesting only upper back and see people doing a motion that appears to be a mid-back area. I'm still fairly new to learning the dynamics/details of working out so please bare with me if my question sounds dumb.

Mike, what do you think about Chris thibadeaus' type of training? Assuming perfect form is involved, Chris always tells that doing exercises 'fast' is the best way so you can then slow down due to effort and build muscle. Do you agree with that?

    John Meadows is definitely missed.
What I took away from him is pretty simple-
The body has a way of wanting to move weight the easiest way and that would include numerous muscles tendons & joints probably all of the ones that have Absolutely nothing to do with the muscle you're training at that particular time.
It's up to you to change that and get comfortable where you're uncomfortable.

If your not gonna horse weight around there is no point of doing one arm dumbell rows.

  • @Learnwithgrant

It seems to be so much more prevalent in back training. this constant urge to yank weight.
