I'm from the uk and have never seen this breed of sheep before! theyre gorgeous
Aren’t they so cool? They are Katahdin hair sheep. They shed their hair once a year so there’s no need to shear like the wool breeds.
I have found when crossing to dorper, some really unique colors can come out of those genetics. Makes you wonder what the make up of dorpers really is. Lots of reds and browns can come out of a white and black sheep. Pretty interesting
It’s definitely one of my favorite things about hair sheep. It’s a surprise every time.
