Here’s the story. A true and credible business owner doesn’t jump ship in order to shift the blame. He’s the one dumping grail products through his rat holes. How that he’s collected that money he’s coming back to do what? Navigate the bankruptcy? He wanted to make sure there was no money left for the creditors to take. He took it all for himself
Oh when he said Metazoo was coming back, he meant he was coming back...to end it.

I think at this point Mike and Baily are working outside of Metazoo in an attempt pull something over on us in this situation. I can't say exactly what but feel like this stream was an attempt at painting both as the "good guys trying to save Metazoo" or something along those lines.
I have a feeling he came out of hiding because he’s suppose to get a cut of product sold and so he was mad when he saw them selling and dumping stuff.. it’s gotta be something like that.

Facts it looks like the man hasn't slept in months. Good. Fuck him for allowing it to get to this point. I get the feeling a lot of the grails and cards were sold to raise funds to prop up the business and keep it open without bankruptcy. A whole lot of $500 to $1000 grail cards, $300 kickstarter spell books and $800 kickstarter booster boxes hit the market.
Could also just be a double ploy they are both in on. Mike couldn’t hold a gaze with a statue.

I believe what Mike said is the nail in the coffin for Metazoo and I think when Bailey said metazoo might be coming back maybe he meant a reboot of Metzoo and that’s why now Mike is coming out wanting to put this current metazoo to rest with a proper bankruptcy and all that to perhaps start a reboot of it just a theory

There's no money left, just a bunch of worthless cardboard. And if the bankruptcy isn't done properly, the (unlimited) partners can be held liable in the event of a lawsuit or other legal action. So of course he'll step in and do a proper bankruptcy, it's in his best interests to ensure that the winding down of the company is done properly. But creditors are unlikely to get anything beyond pennies on the dollar, if and that's only after any outstanding wages owed are paid and other obligations.

Mike is getting attorneys prodding him for the mismanaged money and product, and he's trying to tell everyone to leave him alone because bankruptcy should have taken care of the debt he owes. Sounds like the bankruptcy won't be concluded because the lawyers are following the money, because bankrupting the company will be worthless for all the dozens if not hundreds of people who are still owed. They're probably going to sue Mike in a class action lawsuit and take all his money and toys away from him, and Mike is barely showing his face enough to defer everyone from suing him directly. I think Mike will lose everything, probably go to jail for what he did, and he's scared hoping there's some way of getting out of it.

I was able to get my hands on a pink kuromi booster box, has all the packs in it. Sadly it isn't sealed. LUCKILY imo the box itself is in great shape with no dents or cuts other than the tape seal being cut so this Is awesome for my collection
I take this as one of two ways:
- this is just a "work" and its Mike marketing to try save face or put out the flames

- Mike is a blissful idiot and all this going on and hes got 0 control over it.

The lesson here is be careful who you go into business with! If this was structured as a partnership with voting rights, instead of a corporation with officers, you better make sure that the people you are in partnership with have the same goals and values you do. It sounds like a partnership that went sour. And I bet Mike’s attorneys told him to keep his mouth shut while they try to figure out what kind of mess he was in.
Clearly shown again behind every evil there is always money involved. What it seems is that Aoki or other bigger investors are trying to secure as much capital as they can from the company before they plan on filing for Bankruptcy. The First major mistake Mike ever did when developing Metazoo was trusting the wrong people.
I don’t think it matters that he’s in contact when Mike himself is clearly full of it. Just a huge pissing contest if you ask me. Everyone trying to throw everyone else under the bus and look like the good guy. There’s no denying how poorly the company was ran and how poorly it was killed off. Because they can’t even do that right.
It’s very easy to get away with shady activity when you can just turn around and say someone else is the one doing it. Funny how he now chimes in like he had the power to fix things all along. Then why didn’t he? Because hes full of it
Honestly, it was still probably the right thing to just dump all those ufo pallets. The logistics of handling them and shipping them is probably more than what they would get at liquidation.
Maybe the others had more to do with not completely moving the company in the direction it needed to go after he left. All eyes are on golden and who ever had access to all that product leak.

The biggest thing that doesn’t make sense is the fact that Mike isn’t affiliated with metazoo anymore but he’s going to step in and fix things? Makes zero sense.
Also, he has the nerve to say 3 months after closure and nothing has happened is ridiculous. But, people like myself that waited for preorders like steamer kits for a year, we got banned and muted because we got zero updates and they couldn’t give word where the product was. But yeah, that wasn’t important enough to be considered ridiculous.
I went from a huge metazoo supporter on literally all platforms, to fuck metazoo. What a shame, no one trusts anything that has to do with metazoo anymore. But it makes for entertainment on all the nonsense 😂
