I'm excited about the new physics, I never liked the rally physics, it's like racing on ice all the time. What I really would love is a more comprehensive FOV adjustment for who race in cockpit cam like me. Cheers and love from Brazil!!
@@felipegrijo5803 Yeah, they 100% need more freedom with the camera. I said this in my Rennsport video; GT7 should have the same amount of freedom, especially for cockpit and VR. As for the physics I’m hyped. Much love from the UK
You’re bang on the money lad, we can’t possibly complain about free updates, right? Yes there are some elements to the game I’d like to see and cars I’d love to drive in the game but I have no control over that and haven’t had from the first time I picked up the game which was GT2. Back in the day when updates weren’t a thing, we purchased our game and that was it until the next iteration which was years away, we should all be thankful and feel bloody lucky we’re given free updates. If those things I wish for arrive then brilliant, but until then I’ll enjoy and thank PD for their continued support for this game and its free updates.
I really don't think we're getting the offroad variations. In the reveal trailer of update 1.49, the only offroad footage we saw was of Fisherman's Ranch. You can obviously tell this from looking at the bushes and the color palette of the two clips that were shown in the reveal trailer. There is no details to mention that indicates the offroad layouts are coming except from the Group B race footage that might hint of the offroad tracks return. Even with that clip they were driving on the short layout, not the offroad layouts. I'd expect there's no new offroad content coming on the 25th because they have shown zero seconds of footage showcasing those layouts in the reveal trailer. Don't get hyped about all the layouts, only one is coming. It is a shame because I really love the long offroad Eiger Nordwand layout and it's one of my favorite offroad courses ever put in any videogame but there's nothing really here to indicate the offroad course is coming back. Edit: Also on the final hairpin of the short layout in GT7 I don't see and realistic offshoot section entering the offroad part of the track like GT6 and GT5 has even in their short layout. It just looks like it's meant to be just the short course in GT7.
@@johnrjco4623 they changed the physics many times and didn't add off-road tracks and they added a few off-road cars while not adding off-road tracks. Good point if GT didn't already change/add these things in the past while not adding off-road tracks to go along with them.
I bearly remember an off-road/on-road rally course that I really liked, I hope we get more, cause the ones they have now in GT7 just dont look or feel right. One thing I'd like is some period style spoilers for the classics, & some roll cages for some cars, better gas mileage setup, why would a 1.6ltr TC 3cyl on fuel map 6 get worse mileage than an Gr4 8.4ltr v10?-(like to make my own 700pp/Gr4's) Custom races equal standard races payout, (who likes the same 3 races hundreds of times)? I could go on 4 hours 🤔
Lol, you don't see the corner part of the Track Yet where It was linked to Dirt section. The only change is the pitstop section, where the Pitstop is located differently, but still it's still feel the same ....
Its going to be great i am quite excited for all cars and the track, 3 supercars in one update is not bad, I would proably rank this update top 3 for gt7 best updates, we still have to wait and see what they bring with engine swaps new events and stuff there is nothing on the website yet. Was quite sure it would be a big update and was not dissapointed. Next big update will proably be november with ps5 pro release. Hopefully then pd can add Ferrari 812 superfast and BMW m5 e60

This is the best update that I could have asked! Am all about sim racing atc but putting the "game" part of GT back in to the hole experience is extremely important, this track does just that ! Glad to see that they improved the physics for jumps on dirt. I didn't expect the sophy update because we didn't had any kind of update in that department for a long time. Also the F430 is my favorite Ferrari LOL Extremely well done by polyphony!

I wish they add a option to enable all of the track's layouts at the same time like a free run, sometimes I pick a track to just take a chill ride and being able to switch the layout without having to quit the entire race will be a nice adition I think
Small Possibility they might make this into a giant paddock location and keep the full track layout open and restrictions off like they did to Daytona . Doubt but it could be done here. Would have to be rally tyre only probably so would suck .
pretty sure they or there was rumours of Isle of Man..... this was rumoured around GT6... in the GTPlanet forums some local said they spotted PD on location taking photographs! this was at the same time when people knew the Alfa Romeo 90s Touring car had been scanned... which took ages to appear in GT so it skipped 2 generations or it took 2 generations before it arrived.... what im trying to say is Isle of Man might be the closest track to being open world to appear in GT!!!! also factor in that PD is also sitting on the legendary Pikes Peak track and license for ages now!!! PD wont half ass Isle of Man and will include the entire island!! and it will be their little experiment of including a manageable openworld thats big enough to call open world but small enough that its manageable.... i think this is the way forward now for GTs real life street locations where they have multiple routes and variations! Isle of man will include all the short circuits that are present in that Isle of Man TT bike sim!! to be worth it for PD to model the entire island!! And with current technology an entire model of the Isle of Man is doable!! It will be ambitious only because of the detail that PD works at..... if you think about how Forza Horizon and the Crew are able to model a close approximation of an entire continent at less detail and fidelity!!! Isle of Man at PD detail and fidelity would be mindblowing!! Isle of Man and Pikes Peak are 2 marquee tentpole tracks or hero tracks alongside the Nurburgring!! sooooo my prediction would be dont expect these 2 tracks for GT7 LOL or even GT8!!! these 2 tracks would also be ripe for the introduction of...... drumroll please....... Bikes!!!! another Hero, tentpole headline grabbing feature and would open up GT to being MASSIVE!!! a platform!! get ready to get sick in GT9 on a PS6 Pro riding bikes in PSVR 3!!! They need better weather effects ice, thunderstorms heavy rain mud sand. It's missing a mild moderate and heavy impact collision system. Spoilers, car paneling, mirrors and realistic tire blowouts to break failures and overheating. The pit crew is cool but it could have safety rescue teams and sponsors. Sega gt had damage that impacted the earnings
I assuming they adjusting the physics so cars can handle the big jumps . So hopefully be including the Jump . I’ve been playing this track for last month in gt6 , so I’m pretty keen as drifter .
Not revelent to the video but People are always complaining that we need more cars and tracks, but people should understand that polyphony digital is relatively small in terms of development team and budget wise, unlike like forza which backed by Xbox( Microsoft) who just throw money at everything and call it a day. What do you think?

Exactly. This is supposed to be a racing sim, but adds more fantasy tracks and cars that make it feel more arcade. Racing sim fans want real racing cars and real tracks where they can perfect their lap times and strategy. We waited so long... For nothing.
@@XboxStation-xh8cwgt has always been about roadcars for the most part. Only a few asking for racecars. The majority wants road cars. Cars being added has nothing to do with it being arcade or sim. This is a very good update for gt7. Nothing wrong with fantasy tracks as gt has the best fantasy tracks easily.
When this update releases can you please compare the F430 Scuderia to Forza's Model? The FM/FH5 model is reused and I so badly want to see how inaccurate the car is knowing GT Laser Scans their cars. 😂😂😂
Even Gran Turismo 6 (and 5) had a better 430 Scuderia model than the new Forza. A PLAYSTATION 3 game (console from almost 20 years ago, two generations older) vs an Xbox Series X only game
Although I got excited about the update I also felt let down. I am excited about the cars and especially the track but disappointed that there was no larger grid announced we have wanted larger grids for a long time and no PSVR2 update and I was excited about the new rims but most people would have preferred new Aero. But like you said at least it’s free updates.. but to be honest GT is a game I would happily buy updates because the game is built with so much detail
Hello everyone Guys, please tell me some advice, is it worth buying a PS5 now or is it worth waiting for the release of the new PS5 Pro, (especially in anticipation of the release of GTA 6)? I want to buy a Playstation 5 just for the sake of one game - Gran Turismo 7. Especially after the June update, my desire was strengthened even more when the Honda Civic Si-R (1993) was added. This is my favorite and lovely car!))😍 I've had the Xbox Series X for 2 years now, and Forza Motorsport 2023 just sucks and is garbage, a complete disappointment...😐I've been wanting to try the GT7 for a long time, they have such a love of detail and high-quality car models. But I do not know if it is worth doing it now or does it make sense to wait for the release of a new console? :)

FM doesn't have a single model of the same quality as GT7s worst examples (do they even have a worst?) everything currently missing in FM is slowly being pasted back in from previous titles, just like they do with the Horizon franchise. At least PD really do rebuild the content instead of dumping it back in with the same inaccuracies on track, typos on billboards, FM2 car models.
By that logic, every racing game has recycled cars. But it makes sense to add old favorites. It's different when it's actually rebuilt though. Most of FM cars are not rebuilt, but instead just ported over. And to the other kid, Forza is not a true simulation. You're a meat rider with every comment you ever leave, showing you're nothing but biased. Forza is still a SIMCADE. GT does have race cars. It also has road cars. Yes, it also has VGT cars too. It has old cars and new cars and in-between. No different than FM. Did you know Forza has some fictional tracks too? You know nothing. You're just on here to always spread BS.
After almost a year, A fictional, short narrow track that is USELESS for competitive racing. Yet another fictional (vision) car and zero racing cars. "The Real Driving Simulator" meanwhile FM adds 3 racing cars and Sebring International. I'm done with GT7.
FM has always been a lot more about racing cars than GT, this is nothing new, and while this track may not be for you, most people find it incredibly fun
Gt does their own thing, and thats what make them stand out from the crowd. To many racing games focus on racecars, so am glad gt7 is there for us road car fans.

Sure they add new off Road variations with that new Track. Why else would they present new physics and new rally car variations?

I am wondering if the new physics are only for dirt and maybe snow since they showed the Subaru on dirt when they announced it.

This is my favorite and lovely car!))😍 I've had the Xbox Series X for 2 years now, and Forza Motorsport 2023 just sucks and is garbage, a complete disappointment...😐I've been wanting to try the GT7 for a long time, they have such a love of detail and high-quality car models. But I do not know if it is worth doing it now or does it make sense to wait for the release of a new console? :)
I would get a wheel and psvr2 Over spending more on the pro.

If you want simulation and true world racing, Forza Motorsport and ACC are better

FM doesn't have a single model of the same quality as GT7s worst examples (do they even have a worst?) everything currently missing in FM is slowly being pasted back in from previous titles, just like they do with the Horizon franchise.
At least PD really do rebuild the content instead of dumping it back in with the same inaccuracies on track, typos on billboards, FM2 car models.
By that logic, every racing game has recycled cars. But it makes sense to add old favorites. It's different when it's actually rebuilt though. Most of FM cars are not rebuilt, but instead just ported over.
And to the other kid, Forza is not a true simulation. You're a meat rider with every comment you ever leave, showing you're nothing but biased. Forza is still a SIMCADE. GT does have race cars. It also has road cars. Yes, it also has VGT cars too. It has old cars and new cars and in-between. No different than FM. Did you know Forza has some fictional tracks too? You know nothing. You're just on here to always spread BS.

After almost a year, A fictional, short narrow track that is USELESS for competitive racing. Yet another fictional (vision) car and zero racing cars. "The Real Driving Simulator" meanwhile FM adds 3 racing cars and Sebring International. I'm done with GT7.
FM has always been a lot more about racing cars than GT, this is nothing new, and while this track may not be for you, most people find it incredibly fun

Gt does their own thing, and thats what make them stand out from the crowd. To many racing games focus on racecars, so am glad gt7 is there for us road car fans.
I agree with you and I find very ridiculous the position of the content creator to always push for GT7, no matter what.
