One of my favorite Ryan songs. Totally inspired by The Smiths/Johnny Marr which is a bit more apparent on the album version (Love is Hell). The Shining version is at a way faster tempo and I love the dropped beats in the opening/ending 8. Rocked up version of a fantastic song - love it!

I doubt it. I believe he is actually a fan. Brian Baker is also a huge Smiths fan. My band opened for Dag Nasty in 1988. I asked Brian what he was listening to those days, and got a one word answer. "Smiths"
