the part where you said that the hair can flow anywhere and there could be highlights anywhere depending on where the light hit it and the flow of the hair really did help me so much! thanks for the info! :3
You are honestly the most helpful youtuber. I have already followed a few of your tutorials for my art folio and it has helped so incredibly much. I have tried to draw hair so many times but it always turns out having no shape or highlights and it just looks like a kids drawing. After I followed this tutorial I made so much progress. You are a life saver! Definitely subscribing :)

I get art awards every year and have won a major award called a burrowes scholar which in my school means the best of the best.im known as the best drawer in the school and I always have time to improve my skills and surprise my friends. thank you makoccino

You will not draw it perfectly in the first try, so don’t beat yourself up if it’s not “perfect”. That is why people practice. Nobody wakes up as a 3 year old then draws the Mona Lisa perfectly. :)

Do: draw some "invisible" lines first on the highlights using an empty pen, or anything a bit sharp. It'll serve as a good highlight. Then add shadows.
Hi Makoccino! From the start, I really really wanted to start making beautiful sketches and portraits. And you have really helped me go through some journeys. A few days ago, I was willing to watch your video on how to make a realistic eye. When I followed and listened to your steps, it looked fantastic! I never knew that I could draw this good or even draw. I had trouble drawing "real" body parts but, when I started practicing and practicing and watching your videos, it got better and better. Last is that you actually don't rush this. Sometimes people just speed it up and I completely get confused. Thank you so so so much for making very good content and helping others achieve their goals. I will always support you!
I'm about a year late to this video but hair has been something I struggled with but I actually drew nice looking hair by following this. So thank you for putting it out it was really helpful
