I am NOT particularly artistic and have recently started to try my hand at some pencil sketching and watercolors for fun. One thing I am really noticing about art is the patience it takes to do something well. I marvel at the close attention you pay to light and shadow and the patience it takes to replicate it on the page. I am realizing that more than technique, I need to work on mindset! Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thank you for creating this tutorial. I’m just starting out and you do such a great job of breaking down how to draw realistically. Makes me super excited to practice!
You are a genius, sir! Not only as an artist but as a teacher as well! I hope that you are doing extremely well in your chosen career. Please keep making tutorials and thank you for the ones you have already done. You bring light into the world.
Thank you very much for creating this tutorial! I used to sketch and draw constantly when I was growing up and eventually, I went to a high school for the arts. Unfortunately, I suffered two back to back bouts of meningitis over the summer of 2019 and those “fires” burned away a great deal of my memory and skills. Although I regained most of my memory, regaining some of my artistic skills is an ongoing struggle. Tutorials like yours are extremely helpful because they remind me of what I used to be able to recall instantaneously, allowing me to regain my skills at an accelerated rate instead of starting over from nothing. Thanks again!
Hi Lino! I am 55 and just now learning to draw. I’ve learned so much from your videos already! Thank you so so so much!! I appreciate the time you’ve put into the videos. They are great quality and the sound is excellent too! 👍🏻
OMG.... I watched your video and then immediately got out my basic art supplies.... (I am a true beginner at aged 58) and I followed your instructions... and it looks amazing!! Thank you!!!
You are not only an incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, passionate, and talented artist, but also a very considerate, patient, and excellent teacher! Parabems! Abraços dos EUA! 🤗🫂💖
Love your videos..... As s guy whos had countless teachers, professors and coaches, there's one great teaching tip I'd like to share with you: it helps SO MUCH to tell your students exactly what you're "thinking" when you're drawing something....what's going through your mind as your pencil is moving on the paper... you'll find your students will progress faster.
Absolutely amazing. How the hell do you ever learn something like this. I think artists are born artist, it just takes a little while for them to realize it then, they take off. Fantastic
As I said before, I have books and seen other videos, but in my opinion, it isn't as profound as watching this one. I so thankful you shared this video, I'll purchase your course to support you.
Very glad to see a Brazilian teaching drawing here. You do a good job and your English is pretty impressive. I’m not sure if you still live in Brazil but if you do, it is commendable! Only one correction is on the graphite, it’s pretty much said as it’s written GRA-FÁIT being the first A a kind a quick and half closed like an Â. Wish you the best!
Amazing ❤ Really love this video and channel. My 9- year old drew out a so realistic water drop on a paper in 10 minutes after watching this video, and she completed another one without watching the video the next day! I literally actually shared and recommended this video and channel to all my friends who have someone like drawing in the family. Thanks for sharing and tutoring. Keep on going Lino 💪 🎉🙌
BTW, my 11 year old boy prefer to draw some more machinery stuff like weapons, arecrafts, etc. Do you hv some fun tutoring lessons for beginners? He is super fan of Star Wars, Skibidi Toilet 😂😂😂Thanks!
Hello from Michigan, USA. I am a big fan of both your content and your talent as an artist. Thank you for your time and for sharing your knowledge with your fellow human beings! You are an inspiration and I appreciate you!
I think I need to break out my pencils again. I find understanding and identifying values very difficult and scared to go dark. Maybe a video to help with that. Water blows my mind as it can't deal with transparency being so dark. Wonderful water drawing and a fascinating watch.
Marvellous ❤ im a student of Gr 5.... beginner in drawing... your videos helps me a lot to learn new things and to draw perfectly.. pls post more videos like still life, portrait, colour pencil, water color, etc for people like me . Thank you❤
Hi I’m 9 and I’m trying realistic art but it’s going to take me forever to learn because I’m not all that great at drawing so I’m trying my best to make it happen 🥰

@linonetoarts I just found your channel. You make this stuff look so easy, and the way you break down everything step by step and take your time explaining things, is wonderful. Thank you for posting these tutorials.
This was fun - thanks!. I think your English is just fine and easy to understand, so as far as cotton bud vs Q-tip - you should feel comfortable using the Queen’s English 👑 words you’ve learned because people (in America at least) tend to like the novelty of English words and terms used in other countries. It’s intriguing🙂 Only the French complain about how others speak their language (I know because I’m french!). We’re pretty chill in the States.

Thank you so much!! You’re the only TH-camr to actually break it down and not assume I know the basics. I loved how my water drops turned out!!

@@markhouse8645 try using charcoal pencil ☺️

I don't really think so, I mean I was pretty bad at art but with practice and mistakes I slowly started to improve my drawings.
As I said before, I have books and seen other videos, but in my opinion, it isn't as profound as watching this one. I so thankful you shared this video, I'll purchase your course to support you.
