Wow this car! i have an early 80s 5 series which has the classic BMW shark styling of this beautiful looking machine, i thought you showed us round it very well. So many reviews and you dont see the engine. i would have liked to see the boot lol The interior is so minimal its refreashing to be in a car without all the i crap. Well laid out and elegant sporting seats, great visibility no distracting screens. I was very surprised its just 4 speed for a light car with 200bhp id have thought it would have overdrive at least as with the autobahn it would be very revy? the engine bay is a joy to see a simple well engineered rewarding drivers car. Great review thank you. got my subscription.
Your 1st classic car review and you pick The ultimate BMW 3.2 Csl batmobile... Wow 👊👌✌️👏👏👏👏 This car was the God father/birth of the M sport division...
Wow! Superb video and extremely pertinent comments... Different style from other TH-camrs ! I like that ! What a legendary automobile. Can you test a M635CSi or Alpina B7 Turbo/1 sedan in the future ? I am subscribing !
I’d love to test one of those! I will be doing more classic reviews as soon as I can. Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing. I very much appreciate it.
I think there is a reason this only has 89 views - after 5 minutes I was so bored despite the car being one of my all time greatest. A lesson in how to make a great car seem very dull
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the video. I do try to be a little more informative and less sensational than some others, so perhaps this isn't up your street. But point taken, and room for improvement then.
I never owned a 6 series BMW but I did get to drive one a short distance I did however have a 5 Series BMW and it was devoid of many of today's luxuries. No Aircon, but power steering and a 5 speed manual with the Zetrag box. It was a very deceptive vehicle. It did things effortlessly and quietly. One day, pre cameras, I was on a fast dual carriageway and at peace with the world, glanced at the rev counter and it was recording over 4,000 rpm. Quick thought, I must have forgotten to change into 5th gear. I hadn't. It was in 5th and the speed was where it shouldn't have been. Totally stable and planted on the road. Alas, I had to sell because I became eligible for a company vehicle and was brought down to earth with a bump by being given a Ford Sierra. An absolutely awful vehicle by comparison. Slower, less economical and certainly not as reliable or comfortable as the Beemer. Memories. Waiting for delivery of a new Enyaq 85 now, but I am 40 or so years older.
