Thanks for the sane approach to mods. I agree on the exhaust, rear fender, and crash protection.. But for touring, I will be adding the comfort seat, full windshield, and cruise control, and side cases. Other than that I don't want to add any more weight for regular cruising. Gord
I have a 2022 MT-07 in the same Cyan Storm color. I did the Akrapovic titanium exhaust and it is slightly louder than stock without being obnoxious. It is about as loud as my R3 was with a slip on. Definitely leaving the baffle in. I took it out once to see how loud it was and it was not only painful but set car alarms off. I have done an absolute ton of mods to mine and the last thing I am considering is the bagster ready luxe seat.
I think you should add some rear protection, like crash bars for the rear as well, just frame sliders is not enough, I’ve got crash bars, front and rear by FMS look them up, they are crazy you probably won’t like them but I’ve got them on my 2019 MT07, there are other companies that make rear crash protection for the sides also, that’s not as stunt looking.😷🤪
Hi mcraven! Just purchased a brand new mt-07 and had the chain issue as well. I’m new to riding and I’m not sure if letting off the throttle while on second gear and going to first is suppose to be rough and herky jerky. Haven’t fixed the chain issue yet but wanted to know your thoughts.
No problem with the chain… the dealer did not tighten the chain to spec… I tightened it myself at around 100 miles and then brought it to the dealer at 600 and they tightened the chain to spec…

I have a 2021 and I haven't done any thing to it except installing the puig touring wind deflector on it. It works great.
